I used to think Arthur Rubinstein was the best pianist on the planet until I heard Samson Francois; he can't be beat! The clear sound of the piano is pure splendor for me.

Magnificent by Francois. Together with Arrau my favorite version of this great sonata. Certainly preferable over Rubinstein.
