It kind of looks like it should do something different because it's square, but it's just a regular twist cap.

I'm a server/bartender and regularly work double shifts (10-12hrs) and the FitMe applied with a damp sponge is my holy grail! I'm super duper pale and the lightest shade is perfect. My skin is also quite textured and this stuff is a dream! I've gone through at least 3 of these. I like the coty airspun, but it alters the shade of my foundation, whereas this one does not! Cheap and glorious perfection!!!
CosmeTicCraZy93 Lately I've been mixing Too Faced born this way with Maybelline FitMe in 102. I have dry skin, but my t-zone gets oily so the toofaced doesn't last on me. Also the lightest shade is slightly too orange, so it helps with that too.
ANY time you say you're gonna try a product with the Double Wear I get so excited bc that's my go-to foundation for oily skin! I don't think I'll EVER stray away down it :) lasts on me all day! Nikkia! Fit Me Matte and Poreless also has a pressed powder version to set the face in. I don’t know if it’s anything like the actual loose powder but if it is, it would make it easier to touch up your face with! Try it out please!

Omg right?!?! I brought this as soon as I saw it in Target (US store) and its is AMAZING!!! I also love the matte and poreless Fit Me pressed powder also in both the translucent and the powder foundation (which is more of just a light colored pressed setting powder)

I have to say, even though I'm in a nursing home/rehab facility after barely surviving a very bad car accident a few years ago, I was actually a bit happy about it this year because I would hate this weather if I was living my "normal life" outside of this place! Actually Nikkia, like I said, I Totally LOVE the Maybelline Powder, BUT Have you tried the No.7 Perfect Light Loose Powder?? I think I might like it Very Slightly more! And it is also Drugstore, although a little pricier than the Maybelline here in the States. However, it just has the PERFECT color and tone to me! That sort of 'Bone' color. Very Reminiscent of the Laura Mercier. I have heard people call the No.7 a dupe for the Laura. You should REALLY try IT! It is SUCH a beautiful powder! I was going to try the Laura Mercier, but after the No.7, I have no Desire to. Also, the other day I tried using the Puff that comes with it, because I couldn't find my Brush and Beauty Blender wasn't handy. I just did the Press and Roll Technique that Wayne Goss Talks about with the Velour Puff, and OH My GOD it has Made ALL the Difference in the WORLD using the Puff and Pressing the powder into my skin! Literally ERASES my Huge Pores and Locks in my Foundation ALL DAY! And I have a problem with Longevity usually. I pair the No.7 Loose Powder Pressed into my Skin, with my Covergirl OUTLAST 3 in 1 Foundation or my Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation, and My Makeup lasts my Entire 12 Hour Workday from 4-5am when I apply it, until 9-10pm before bed! 😍😍😍😍😍
The No.7 has been my 'go to' for years but I've recently found that ELF has launched a finishing powder that's a very good cheaper alternative and doesn't add too much colour.

Hey Nikkia have you heard of beauty blenders blotzeratti? It is used instead of blotting-paper does not remove your makeup but soaks up all the oil it is amazing!
Nikkia you need to try the bodyshop clay foundation! I've only worn it twice but I'm already loving it! It doesn't crease as much as other foundations, stays matte for a good amount of time and the coverage is sooo good.
Love this eye look, the maybelline does look less cakey and it def blurs well!! I'm considering buying this when it's out in the uk!!! I'm impressed!!! I've used Mabaline loose powder for years but now they offer more colors and change name of it. It's been my holy Grail glad to see others like it!! Spray face with mix of avian water and toner in a spray bottle instead of Mac fix plus..its cheaper and it works...

Do you have any tips on how us glasses wearing #oilyskinsisters can prevent those dang imprints on the side of the nose from eyeglasses. I power and set but still those ridges are SUPER visible.
This was the bane of my existence for so long that I moved on to wearing contacts, not ideal but at least they don't ruin my makeup haha. My glasses also seemed to push the oil and makeup back into my skin or something during the day so I ended up with some nasty spots on my nose.
I thought the Laura Mercier powder definately looked more cakey around the nostril fold than the maybelline side & the maybelline looked more airbrushed all over.

I have to say I like the beauty blender side better. I think I might have to jump on the beauty blender bandwagon ( yes I am very late to it lol). But, I think I am also going to have to get Maybelline powder as well.
I actually HATE the beauty blender. I've tried the L'Oréal Infallible pink sponge and love it. However it is very fragile and you have to be careful when cleaning it. The LA girl sponges are my fav though. You need to try them, you get 2 in a pack for I think $12. They are super sof and blend your makeup so well!! I just got a BB recently and wasnt impressed AT ALL. Idk if I got a dud or what but it doesn't get as big as I thought when I dampened it. I got it during the 20% off sale at sephora. So if I were you i would save some $ and go w the LA girl sponges or the L'Oréal Infallible one. I haven't tried the real techniques one yet but want to. I just haven't been able to put down my LA girl sponge.
Thoughts on a daily, oil controlling makeup routine withOUT a full-coverage foundation?? I've gotten away from liquid foundation after trying what feels like millions and they look so damn cakey! Or they literally dissolve during the day. So I've been doing everything except foundation or using a powder (Studio Fix) to even out a bit more after concealer. I'm so jealous of fresh faced people who can throw on mascara and gloss and look amazing. 😩😩😩
Samantha Robinson I wear concealer and use the wet n wild photofocus powder foundation. But I prime my whole face so it has something to stick to. It lasts through my work days and I work in food I’m constantly over a fryer
Sara H Thanks for the recommendation! I do the same (actually I use TWO primers!) with concealer and powder foundation. It just doesn't last on me. I've been trying to go without any makeup at home and I'm embarrassed to even let my family see how greasy I become even just an hour or two after oil-free moisturizer! 😵😵 So when I use a liquid foundation it literally gets pushed off my skin and floated down a river in a slowly moving barge on my oil slick face. 🛶🏖🚢🌊🏄🏻 I wish I was exaggerating. And I'm well versed in makeup, application, maintenance, etc. Always on the hunt for the newest products both skincare or beauty. I do have hyper pigmentation that I'm trying desperately to fade so I still need some coverage. All I want in the world is to wake up and not look scary!! Anyone else? What do you guys do? I'm 35 so you'd think I had this figured out by now! 🤦🏻♀️

Honestly trolling strange corners of the inter webs to find out cult favorites from all different countries. (I will order anything from anywhere if it's going to help!) I'm so intrigued to see which ones you came up with. The French and Koreans have some pretty interesting/promising staples in this department since they value skincare so much. Laëtitia P. I use the fit me foundation for oily skin and I love it. Get compliments on my skin all the time. I also use the seriously shine free mattifying moisture 10.0.6 at Wal-Mart. I love it. It's like 10$ here on PEI.
Laëtitia P. If you have dry skin and patches you're probably not gonna like this... I have very oily skin and some dry patches, it clings onto them and after like 1 hour my skin gets REALLY oily 😂my friends point out how oily my skin looks all the time.
Your foundation looked flawless after you applied the fit me powder with the sponge and that color you have is a good match, might need to get a lighter shade for the colder days if you get lighter. The day 2 Maybelline side looks PERFECT and MUCH better than the other side! I'm LOVING it!!!! You should keep using that and applying with damp blender as you did
Emily Brahamm I tried the makeup forever mat velvet + and I'll be returning it definitely doesn't look good on my oily skin with at least 9hrs of wear I found that the wet n wild photo focus lasted and looked better. Just my opinion but everyone's different =)
NIKKIA, I do like this powder, but you NEED to try the Maybelline Shine Free Oil Control Loose Powder. It is an older Maybelline powder, but it is THEE BEST one I have. I am an oily girl and this is the one I can always count on and always reach for. and it's even cheaper! Only $5.99!! I do have high end powders that I love, like The KVD, LM, UD, Cover FX, Tarte Rainforest of the Sea, Cinema Secrets, Dermablend and guess what?! I always prefer my awesome Maybelline Shine Free! TRY IT!!
I have oily skin and it works well for me. However, it's the first loose powder I've used so I have nothing to compare it to. I could do without the smell AND you can even taste it on your lips. Really weird. I'm SO over the scented makeup gimmick. It's dumb and I'm not an 8 year old. 😁
The laura mercier covered up the texture better but that may have been cuz you used more and cuz it was lighter. Im sure if u used more of the maybelline and in a lighter pigment it would do the same. I just bought it before watching this vid and Im pleasantly surprised on how well it worked on you !! I cant wait to try it out now :D
Genevieve Haasis this one for me was better than airspun. It doesn’t have a crazy strong smell and it doesn’t look chalky on my nose like the airspun does.
I couldn't tell of it was the contour, highlight, or powder...but your skin definitely looked less vibrant. it didn't look how it normally does. I so say this with love. like a friend that would be honest with you instead of being a yes friend. You're still fabulous. But I can definitely see a grey.
A must try , I trust all your videos because without you I would've been a complete oily grease ball but thanks to your videos my makeup looks less oily every time 😭
As I understand it , all cosmetics sold in China are tested by the Chinese Government so a lot of times people will object to a company testing on animals when they really do not .. (like MAC for example ) .but in order to reach one of the largest markets for any product in the world ..they have to allow the Chinese Government to test their products on animals ..its business ..and politics ..
Debbie you are correct. However, many companies choose NOT to sell in China because of that law so they can remain cruelty-free. So, it's possible for them to make money and remain CF because many companies do it successfully. Sorry, Maybelline. You can do better.

I tried your holy grail foundation for the first time last week. Isn't it weird how some things are great for some and don't work for others? I have crazy oily skin and thought it would be great. It really seemed to emphasize my pores, and was much oilier by the end of the day compared to my current holy grail- L'Oréal Infallible Pro-matte. Drug store wins!

The side with Laura mercier shows creases by ur nose and mouth before u did ur check in

You are right about that. Some highlighters are worse for this than others but trowelling it on is a mistake in any case.

I think it looks much better with the dampened beauty blender. It's amazing how it blurred the texture and everything. Definitely a must-have item!

Hey Nikkia have you heard of beauty blenders blotzeratti? It is used instead of blotting-paper does not remove your makeup but soaks up all the oil it is amazing!

Nikkia you need to try the bodyshop clay foundation! I've only worn it twice but I'm already loving it! It doesn't crease as much as other foundations, stays matte for a good amount of time and the coverage is sooo good.
Heading to the drugstore to pick this up because that looks amazing under the eye! Maybe it will be a game changer for my makeup.

I kind of agree with you, the LM side does look a bit cakier upon first application. Wow! And the Maybelline side looks just as good! I have to try the Maybelline powder now!

I've used Mabaline loose powder for years but now they offer more colors and change name of it. It's been my holy Grail glad to see others like it!! Spray face with mix of avian water and toner in a spray bottle instead of Mac fix plus..its cheaper and it works...

Do you have any tips on how us glasses wearing #oilyskinsisters can prevent those dang imprints on the side of the nose from eyeglasses. I power and set but still those ridges are SUPER visible.
This was the bane of my existence for so long that I moved on to wearing contacts, not ideal but at least they don't ruin my makeup haha. My glasses also seemed to push the oil and makeup back into my skin or something during the day so I ended up with some nasty spots on my nose.
Troglodyte X Baking specifically on those sides of the nose as well as priming really helps me with sunglass marks!
Apply a Mac Pro Longwear paint pot to your nose, then your foundation, then apply powder with a slightly damp beauty blender. You’re welcome 👌

I thought the Laura Mercier powder definately looked more cakey around the nostril fold than the maybelline side & the maybelline looked more airbrushed all over.

I have to say I like the beauty blender side better. I think I might have to jump on the beauty blender bandwagon ( yes I am very late to it lol). But, I think I am also going to have to get Maybelline powder as well.
I really love the real techniques sponges! I am too cheap to buy those beauty blenders! 😛
I actually HATE the beauty blender. I've tried the L'Oréal Infallible pink sponge and love it. However it is very fragile and you have to be careful when cleaning it. The LA girl sponges are my fav though. You need to try them, you get 2 in a pack for I think $12. They are super sof and blend your makeup so well!! I just got a BB recently and wasnt impressed AT ALL. Idk if I got a dud or what but it doesn't get as big as I thought when I dampened it. I got it during the 20% off sale at sephora. So if I were you i would save some $ and go w the LA girl sponges or the L'Oréal Infallible one. I haven't tried the real techniques one yet but want to. I just haven't been able to put down my LA girl sponge.

I've gotten away from liquid foundation after trying what feels like millions and they look so damn cakey! Or they literally dissolve during the day. So I've been doing everything except foundation or using a powder (Studio Fix) to even out a bit more after concealer. I'm so jealous of fresh faced people who can throw on mascara and gloss and look amazing. 😩😩😩

Samantha Robinson I wear concealer and use the wet n wild photofocus powder foundation. But I prime my whole face so it has something to stick to. It lasts through my work days and I work in food I’m constantly over a fryer
Sara H Thanks for the recommendation! I do the same (actually I use TWO primers!) with concealer and powder foundation. It just doesn't last on me. I've been trying to go without any makeup at home and I'm embarrassed to even let my family see how greasy I become even just an hour or two after oil-free moisturizer! 😵😵 So when I use a liquid foundation it literally gets pushed off my skin and floated down a river in a slowly moving barge on my oil slick face. 🛶🏖🚢🌊🏄🏻 I wish I was exaggerating. And I'm well versed in makeup, application, maintenance, etc. Always on the hunt for the newest products both skincare or beauty. I do have hyper pigmentation that I'm trying desperately to fade so I still need some coverage. All I want in the world is to wake up and not look scary!! Anyone else? What do you guys do? I'm 35 so you'd think I had this figured out by now! 🤦🏻♀️

Honestly trolling strange corners of the inter webs to find out cult favorites from all different countries. (I will order anything from anywhere if it's going to help!) I'm so intrigued to see which ones you came up with. The French and Koreans have some pretty interesting/promising staples in this department since they value skincare so much. Laëtitia P. If you have dry skin and patches you're probably not gonna like this... I have very oily skin and some dry patches, it clings onto them and after like 1 hour my skin gets REALLY oily 😂my friends point out how oily my skin looks all the time.
Your foundation looked flawless after you applied the fit me powder with the sponge and that color you have is a good match, might need to get a lighter shade for the colder days if you get lighter. Loved this review! ALSO for US customers you can get it on the Walmart website for $5.94 if anyone is interested.

Emily Brahamm I tried the makeup forever mat velvet + and I'll be returning it definitely doesn't look good on my oily skin with at least 9hrs of wear I found that the wet n wild photo focus lasted and looked better. Just my opinion but everyone's different =)
NIKKIA, I do like this powder, but you NEED to try the Maybelline Shine Free Oil Control Loose Powder. It is an older Maybelline powder, but it is THEE BEST one I have. I am an oily girl and this is the one I can always count on and always reach for. and it's even cheaper! Only $5.99!! I do have high end powders that I love, like The KVD, LM, UD, Cover FX, Tarte Rainforest of the Sea, Cinema Secrets, Dermablend and guess what?! I always prefer my awesome Maybelline Shine Free! TRY IT!!

I have oily skin and it works well for me. However, it's the first loose powder I've used so I have nothing to compare it to. I could do without the smell AND you can even taste it on your lips. Really weird. I'm SO over the scented makeup gimmick. It's dumb and I'm not an 8 year old. 😁

The laura mercier covered up the texture better but that may have been cuz you used more and cuz it was lighter. Im sure if u used more of the maybelline and in a lighter pigment it would do the same. I just bought it before watching this vid and Im pleasantly surprised on how well it worked on you !! I cant wait to try it out now :D

I couldn't tell of it was the contour, highlight, or powder...but your skin definitely looked less vibrant. it didn't look how it normally does. I so say this with love. like a friend that would be honest with you instead of being a yes friend. You're still fabulous. But I can definitely see a grey.

As I understand it , all cosmetics sold in China are tested by the Chinese Government so a lot of times people will object to a company testing on animals when they really do not .. (like MAC for example ) .but in order to reach one of the largest markets for any product in the world ..they have to allow the Chinese Government to test their products on animals ..its business ..and politics ..
Debbie you are correct. However, many companies choose NOT to sell in China because of that law so they can remain cruelty-free. So, it's possible for them to make money and remain CF because many companies do it successfully. Sorry, Maybelline. You can do better.

I tried your holy grail foundation for the first time last week. Isn't it weird how some things are great for some and don't work for others? I have crazy oily skin and thought it would be great. It really seemed to emphasize my pores, and was much oilier by the end of the day compared to my current holy grail- L'Oréal Infallible Pro-matte. Drug store wins!
