In this episode, we make an attempt to de-radicalize American Seniors and Geriatrics by showing them the importance of a butterfly sanctuary and that sometimes a butterfly sanctuary is JUST a butterfly sanctuary, and NOT a front for a human smuggling operation or child abduction/baby-blood-drinking front.
Together we can take steps to de-radicalize American grandparents and save them from the propaganda machine of Tucker Carlson (the talking walnut) and other notorious rightwing media outlets.
If you have a geriatric American that you are worried has fallen victim to the right-wing media machine of unsubstantiated fear, falsely-fueled anger/vitriol and fear, don't be afraid to ask for help. Dial 1-888-OLD-FART to be directed to a repository of resources available for those concerned about the old and retired and their online activity.
Your contributions support this content. It sounds clichéd, but it's true. Whether it's travel expenses, vehicle repair, or medical costs for urushiol poisoning (or rockfalls, beestings, hand slices, toxic sap, etc), your financial support allows this content to continue so the beauty of Earth's flora can be made accessible to the rest of us in the degenerate public. At a time when so much is disappearing beneath the human footprint, CPBBD is willing to do whatever it takes to document these plant species and the ecological communities they are a part of before they're gone for good.
Plants make people feel good. Plants quell homicidal (and suicidal!) thoughts. To support Crime Pays But Botany Doesn't, consider donating a few bucks to the venmo account "societyishell" or the PayPal account email crimepaysbutbotanydoesnt@gmail.com...
Or consider becoming a patreon supporter @ :
    / crimepaysbutbotanydoesnt
Buy some CPBBD merch (shirts, hats, hoodies n' what the shit) available for sale at :
    www.bonfire.com/store/crime-p...
To purchase stickers, venmo 15 bucks to "societyishell" and leave your address in the comments.
Plants ID questions or reading list suggestions can be sent to crimepaysbutbotanydoesnt@gmail.com
    Thanks, GFY.

He's so devoted to the cult and to MAGA that he bought a bus and painted his 3%er insignia, the Trump Punisher skull and the Q cult motto on it. He drives it around town on "patriotic days." 4th of July, veterans day, remembrance day, election day, etc. Dude is guano insane and got himself banned from Menards for life for pulling a mask stunt.

Honestly, its both sides that are rotting the minds of Americans. Democrats have become just as looney and susceptible to propaganda as right wingers. Its really sad to see. The left use to be the anti war party but now they love war. The right is just as nuts as its always been. America is just in a sad state of affairs and the media and social media is rotting everyones minds and makes everyone not be able to think for themselves and not be able to see propaganda.

South Texas is my home. There’s also a place called Quinta Mazatlan in McAllen for birds.
It used to be mostly agriculture and has turned into quite a bit of sprawl.
South Texas is known for having “winter Texans” so lots of geriatrics in the winter. They used to just stay at the pizza buffet for 12 hours but I guess now they’re shutting down butterfly centers. Shame. We’ve always hated them.

They are my idols! I've probably got 50 different native wildflowers growing in my suburban Tennessee cul-de-sac lot. And a few crack plants, as well as noxious weeds like thistle for the nectar fiends. I've lured in rare birds and long-tailed skippers on a regular basis for a few years. As a 4-year sober alcoholic, I found wild plant identification and collection/ propagation to be an addicting replacement.. Thanks for another banger video!

But only plant milkweeds native to your immediate vicinity because if you plant lets say a tropical milkweed in the Bay Area, it will stay green too late into the year and disrupt monarch migration patterns. Can get around this by chopping them to the ground at the appropriate time for your area. If your from California let me know, those are the milkweeds I know about

F-ing awesome. Man, I really want to get some of those plants, it might be worth the 5hr drive to get down there. I hate Home Depot's garden section too.

Welcome to Texas once again my friend.
    Fantastic video!
    Great location!
    I'm in Central Tx,
    zone 8b,
(Altho this Spring it feels more like zone 9, or even 10...
    But that's Texas for ya)
and I've already planted some of these in my front yard!
    Woot Woot!!
There's even lions mane mushrooms growing on a giant log IN MY FRONT YARD!
    I'm so jazzed about it!
The humans over here don't care about HOA's etc., it's wonderful !
This vid has given me some fantastic ideas of more stuff that NEEDS planting over here, so Thank You for that!
I've also got a few places in mind for planting this kinda stuff where nobody's lookin, if ya know what I mean.
Hope those tamales were as good as the ones I get around here!

Love the moth aside, didn't know about the pollinia. I thought yucca were in asparagaceae though, I think about that every time I see their stalks and imagine a giant asparagus. I don't know much about plant family discourse though

Evil is a real thing , this is beauty, this is truth, this is knowledge. Don't marvel that evil attacks the butterfly sanctuary it appears to be chaos, but it's not, it's intentional . Get yourself a cape Joey you're a fecking superhero , spreading the knowledge!

I just saw this cool dude on Wired talking about plants. I was like who is this 🤡 trying to be like Joey S. Just bc he has a cute face and sorta talks like you but if u were at a job interview. Turns out it is you. Never saw ur face before. PS; we lost our grandma to Fox News last year. We tried everything but she was too far gone.
