Thank you George, this is a plant I had asked about 😍🌱 I love this beautiful lacey, intricate and unique structure and texture. It's definitely a neat showpiece plant. Tropica, as always, suplies a beautiful addition to anyone's Aquarium !!🙏💚🌿🐟🌿💚
This was in my first tropical aquarium 30 (😨) years ago, along with amazon swords and random stems. I was told it was a challenge, but with some iron tabs (? I thinks that's how they were sold at the time) pushed into the plain gravel substrate, an extra set of fluoro lights and sheer dumb luck, it grew really well.
I put two bulbs in my 90P (45cm height) tank, PH rarely goes under 7.5 mostly above it and I don't use CO2 of any kind. It took two months but now the leaves are flowing allong the top of the water. If you really like it give it a try, you might be surprised.
no. most plants are tropical and can withstand temperatures up to 30C. Yes its better if the temperature is around 24-26C but its not worth the cost of a chiller.
My local aquarium store got some of these in and I picked a few up for the first time a week ago. It's a stunning plant for sure, and much hardier than I anticipated as none experienced any dieoff from transplanting unlike I've experienced with other aponogeton species. The way you pronounce "aponogeton" is bizarre to me. I'm not saying you're wrong, but it just sounds weird as "ah-pawn-oh-geet-on" instead of "ah-pawn-oh-get-on" as I thought it's pronounced.

have been wanting this plant for over 6 years
Beautiful plant. Now I know I can't have. I have 8.0 pH and very hard water also no co2. 🌿🌿🌿👍👍😊

Do I plant the bulb and roots completely under the soil? Thanks
Is an aquarium chiller a good investment to achieve this level of beauty of a planted tank?
