    I could see how big those bugs were on your film. It's a bit muddy, but the views and scenery are beautiful. especially being so boggy. I liked the yellow flowers in the trail. I felt that look when you hit that area, I thought it was lightning at first 😮 I imagine it was hard to enjoy the trail with everything going on that day, but I enjoyed watching. The Kettle Creek area seemed more of a pleasant experience 😊

    That cabin was very nice. Hotdogs and broken heels. I’m in, and that time lapse was great. Little Pine seemed way more vast than I thought it would be with all those open meadows. Quite beautiful even with all that mud. Great part one, I can tell this is going to be a fun series to follow.

    • @WALTERZOLNA
      @WALTERZOLNA  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks Jeremy, there is a good bit of variety of scenery and diversity in the series, I tried to capture alittle bit of everything on my road trip. Broken Heels absolutely, I probably could have done alittle better than straight hotdogs, LoL! But then again hot dogs are like that disrespected item that always comes through when you need it, haha.

    Finally got to sit down and watch the start of your epic adventure through the wilds after seeing those epic instagram posts, between the mud bugs and fun shots I’d say you started off with a literal bang 😅 Sam and I did that trail a few years ago in the fall, pretty sure I have a shot of Sam falling down a hillside because of the mud…we really liked the campground there right below the dam. Anyways looking forward to the rest of the series man!

    I'm so excited to see all the videos from your PA Wilds trip. Visiting this area has been on my list for a while - would love to go to Cherry Springs. Little Pine state park looked very nice and the lakeshore trail pretty even with all the water and mud. I always love hiking the trails that go around the lake, but they do tend to be muddy. The Airbnb camp looked amazing how close it was to that creek. Looked like a cozy place to stay and nice to have the firepit.

      Charlie Camp was great ,I absolutely give a full ringing endorsement, I didnt want to leave! The afternoon that day turned out to be beautiful, if I had done the trail at Little Pine in the afternoon with blue skies and drier conditions I probably would have had a much more enjoyable experience.

    The great thing about the dam is that there is parking right there. So if you don't want to walk up the hill to get to the top you don't need to. I really like Little Pine Park. Stayed at the camp grounds twice. Yes, there is a shooting range and also an archery range.

    You are so funny, some people vacation on beach, fancy hotels and you vacationing in a wet meadow. Hey single men should eat better. Oh wow Cherry spring is close, I love to observe the skies. Nice informative video. Did you got any ticks, I’m so freak out about them. I’m glad you enjoy your Vacay!

    • @WALTERZOLNA
      @WALTERZOLNA  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did not pick up any ticks at all during the whole trip fortunately, but that was definitely a concern of mine going through the tall grass. I dont mind some mud, I just didn't want to start off seven days of traveling by becoming completely caked and saturated in muddy shoes right off the jump! Cherry Springs, and really any of the parks in that northern tier of the state have excellent star gazing opportunities .

    • @Sadeghijart
      @Sadeghijart 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The reason I’m so freaked about ticks, I move here a little over 2 years and after hiking my first couple of hikes in the woods, I got Pennsylvania gift, Lyme disease. I checked for ticks when came back from my hikes and nothing. Thank God I was diagnosed and treated early.

    • @WALTERZOLNA

    • @WALTERZOLNA
      @WALTERZOLNA  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The reverberation of the sound bouncing off the hills threw me off initially, that's why I thought it was fireworks or something. Little Pine is probably an amazing place, I just didn't hit it at the best time I think.
