I love the format of this video. Hearing you read aloud while I read along is a huge help with my pronunciation.
I can also slow down your speech so, as a beginner, it gives me a chance to catch up and to slowly pronounce each word with you.
This is very, very useful. Go raibh maith agat. J

Glad to hear that, Irish language pronunciation is quite different from English. Best wishes.

This was great for learning! Thanks so much. I like the combination of everyday phrases with a little extra thrown in at the end ("arguing over little things)
Cheers from Japan! Go raibh maith agat!

Great video. More of this please. For the grammar nerds(like me) Bíonn-present habitual. Rugadh-passive form of past tense of beir(an irregular verb). Lár na clainne is tuiseal ginideach, clainne is the genitive singular form of clann. Bímid present habitual again.

Not really no, I wouldn't worry too much about the complex grammar, just focus on learning new words and phrases

I am learning Irish with my Irish husband mostly so that I can sing Irish songs. Could you do something on websites or print sources for lyrics in Irish? I just spent a lot of time researching An Raibh Tú Ag An gCairraig. There were a lot of variations, some of which didn't make sense - for instance the response was in the wrong person. Great video. Thanks very much for this channel.

I love how Irish place names make so much more sense in Irish like the example given here county mayo, like mayonnaise? no Maigh Eo the plain of the yew trees isn't that so much better?

Tá a fhios agam, fiafraím go leor. Agus go raibh maith agat as na físeáin seo a phostáil. Tá brón orm as aon earráidí, bíodh drogall ort mo Ghaeilge a cheartú.
