Beautiful poem, very well translated. Reminds me of the beautiful foggy October nights we used to travel home from my grandmother's house after spending the day with her. As a little boy I used to love to see the moon over the mountains "a ritheann romham". She really was "mo chara ar an bhòthar". Thank you so much for bring back so many lovely memories. The Moon
    🌙
She is the queen of the sky
    The beauty of the night
    Secret star,
    that runs before me
    My friend on the road
    On a trip
    In darkness
    Her face, now
    camouflaged in fog
    Above parks and trees
    She flies
    Spreading shadows
    The country in her arms
    My beauty/Skywoman/beautiful woman
    My secret heart

I just discovered your channel and I am so glad.
Although I am not Irish (just of Irish descent) I did have two semesters of Irish in school, but because I had no real opportunity to use it I have lost most of what I learned. But I have been trying to relearn as much as I can and this channel has been incredibly helpful, more than most of the ones I have found so far. I’m actually getting to the point I can figure out the general meaning of some words I haven’t seem before.

Great video. Very informative and enjoyable. There is just one small thing I would change. I think if it is meant to mean parks "and trees", it should say "is chrainn" and not "is chriann". I believe "chrainn" is the lenited form of "crainn" which means trees. Other than that, I think the video is perfect. 🙂

    Dear Teacher Dane! 😊
    I've been learning Irish
Since I found Your Chanel! Really Good Job! I hope to arrive soon, to the Irish Middle
    Level! I've learning Scottish & Welsh too😮
    Gaelic & Gailge😮😊
    Is a challenge 😅😂🎉
    The 3 languages have
Some similar things, but the grammar structure are different!
    Specially with the alphabeths🤔🤨😏
The expresiones and the completely different pronounciation is "The Quid" For learning better! A good tool is
    To buy 3 dictionaries
    English-Irish
    English-Scottish
    English-Welsh 😅😊
I'd like to know If it's possible to find a three languages book!!!
I've learned English & French at the same time, with a Special book Specially designe for three languages at the same time!
Spanish, English & French!!! When I was 17
in High school! Italian & Portuguese later!!! So
Could be excelent If there's a 3 languages book in UK!!! Or in An British Library (book store) to buy them!!!
Here In México City, i've found Italian - French
    Italian-English,
English-French Dictionaires and some others, to learn MORE fast!!! I designed a personal System to learn 3 languages
    at the same time! 😮
That's why, when I found Your Chanel
I think, this is What I'm looking for!!! 😊
So, thank you for Your time Teacher! Keep on
    With your Irish Lessons!
    Bueno, agradezco mucho la oportunidad
de haber platicado con usted, acerca del aprendizaje de Las Lenguas Británicas!
    J'espere que vous-etes
    Tres bien! Monsieur!
    Ci vediamo in altro volta
    Mío caro insegnante!!!
    Arrivederci!!!
