- The second of two videos about the Aquaflora Japanese Aquascaping Nights. This video will feature Takayuki Fukada assisted by Steven Chong and later on by Balbi Vaquero and Romy Verlan during planting time.
This video was recorded almost three weeks ago when the number of infected by Covid-19 was low, having low risk of contagion due the number of infected people.
Takayuki Fukada has used a Beta-acuarios of 120x60x50cm, lots of Malaysian driftwood, Azalea driftwood and Maple leaf rocks as hardscape, river sand, Prodibio aquasoil and JBL volcano gravel.
Plants used in this layout: Micranthemum species 'Monte Carlo', Lilaeopsis 'Novea-Zealandiae', Hydrocotyle tripartita, Pilularia sp, Microsorum pteropus trident, Bolbitis heudelotii, Rotala species Vietnam, Ludwigia arcuata, Myriophyllum sp Guyana, Vesicularia dubyana and Cryptocoryne beckettii.
Filter used in the tank is an Oase Biomaster 600 with inline CO2 JBL direct 16/22.
Lighting system is a Twinstar 1200SA with Nano+ algae inhibitor.

Before any other comment about Covid-19 and the distance between people in the event, I would like to explain, even being mentioned in the video's description, this video was recorded almost three weeks ago.
At that moment just a few people was infected by the virus in the Netherlands 8, possible infected 40-80 in 17M...
The risk was low and of course we took some precautions even being difficult to control such thing.

Yes, I'm at home for about 9 days and in volunteer quarantine. My country is in emergency lockdown and just some services and shops are open.
My tanks sucks... I thought in use this time to rescape them but since I can't get out, services are stopped, shops are closed and country in lockdown, no way to get access to materials... Since I was out for a few weeks, the tanks ran out of CO2, now I can't get the bottles refilled, well... I will solve out this anyway.

Hi Filipe, yes it's the same here in France , total lockdown. Some aquatic companies online say they are still sending out orders , but how long will the post take ? I think I will wait until hopefully, things will quieten down. Thanks for replying, appreciate it. Best wishes to you and the family.

Now will be difficult to bring some updates about all tanks. I'm in lockdown in Portugal, borders are closed and I don't know when I will get back to Netherlands. Hopefully everything will be fine!
