Confused, whether to buy Hyryder or Grand vitara with Mild hybrid petrol engine, both being manufactured in Toyota factory in India. Whether build quality of both are same. If same, it is not clear how Toyota is offering more warranty than Maruti for this product. Is it safe with 2 airbags ? Can you please let me know. Thank you in advance.
The two SUVs are identical in terms of build quality. Toyota offering more warranty is more of a business decision than an indicator of the product.
The SUVs are based on Suzuki’s Global-C platform which is quite safe. Would urge you to pick a variant with six airbags.
