100% Agreed with this owner's analysis choosing Hybrid and not full EV. I am in the same boat - as Hybrid is a 'transient technology' giving a safe bet between traditional Gasoline vs BEVs.
Those who have budget of 30 L plus, they can go with BYD Atto 3, it has 450 + Km range, with excellent Blade LFP battery and e-platform 3.0 features. Test drive that car then compare for yourself. Running cost less than Rs 1 per Km, when charging at home.
Toyota Hyryder 1. Sunroof Panoramic view shadow is very thin and which is increasing cabin temperature. 2. Even though you cover both Sunroof & shadow, little sunlight is coming inside - big drawback 3. Due to increase in temperature - AC increase and which subsequently consume more petrol - Yet to be verified 4. Less Boot space 5. Good comfort to ride - person to Person may change 6. Good road visibility - person to Person may change 7. 360 degree camera 8. 5 ppl can sit comfortably
no one talks about the battery pack's life and its replacement cost! under low accelerations, its basically an EV. the cost of battery pack must be less than the money it saves on fuel and the extra investment on the hybrid version. otherwise its not advisable to invest 6-10 lakh more on the full HYBRID version.
You get 8 years / 1,60,000kms warranty on the battery. where as on the engine you get 3 years / 100000kms. by the time you complete 8 years or 160000kms the price of batteries will only be cheaper than it is now.
It's been a fact that batteries have only been more and more efficient for the price you've paying from past 20 years. Hybrid in Toyota Camry has been available since the past decade. Initially hybrid was only for luxury cars. Now that batteries and motors are cheaper this is available for general public. That not speculation.
@@daivikraj8418 the battery has 8 years warranty on it. Zo you need not worry of the battery cost for now. And 8 years later it's only going to cost less.
Very good review. @MotorByte . People should go for S version as it is lowest priced hybrid and has most good to have features, including rear camera. People should go for Toyota if they want strong Hybrid, because the engine is from Toyota itself. They have better understanding of Hybrid
@@WaltrWyte the manufacturing for both vitara and hyryder is done at Toyota factory. Strong hybrid technology is from Toyota and mild hybrid (Neo) tech is from Maruti. People are over speculating and have absolutely no idea what they're talking about in case of sun roof and boot space. I have the car and even after being parked in an open parking lot under direct sunlight it did not heat up any more than the cars I had/have without sunroof. I like the well lit cabin but as a safety point i agree it did need a more solid lid under it. The AC is powerful enough to cool the cabin and opening the sunroof lets the air out quicker. About the boot space, again it's people are over analysing. It's no match for my Honda city but it's almost as spacious as my fortuner with 3rd row folded. It was tight but I've fit all 2 full sized luggage and what not and went out on a trip with 3 more family members. If you're considering the hybrid, go for Toyota. For mild hybrid, go for Suzuki.
I too own a Hyryder G full hybrid i completed 5450 kms in 6 months I drive around in eco mode mostly and get an average raniging from 22 to 24 completed 2 servicing and every time after the service the average dropped below 20 I use tank to tank method to calculate average but have found the digital meter is quite accurate and readings are similar. A few of the disadvantages I found were sunroof on highways in these summers are not very effective in blocking heat and rear passengers feel the brunt of the heat. Cooling is not as effective in Eco mode as it is in City mode. A 21 lakh car missing a cooled glovebox whenever youn drink water or anything kept in the car during long drives makes you miss the cooled glovebox even Tata Altroz has a cooled glovebox. The wireless charging is a sham it could neither charge at IPhone 12 or 14 it just heats it up surprisingly while servicing when I complained about the charger while checking the service representative could charge his IPhone 11 on the same charger(They should have provided a switch to turn off the charger when not wanted). 3 people at the rear are not as comfortable as they would be in same size car (Creta/ Seltos) . Lastly I thought boot space would be enough for my small family but I was wrong I have sorely missed the boot space several times. Music system is average. I do not recommend this car to my friends my conclusion is having so many disadvantages just for a higher mileage and new tech does not justify the expense you pay upfront for buying the car it is better to buy a fully loaded version of any other car which will provide some creature comforts for this price.

Dear MotorByte ! Sir what is Toyota in this car? Only stamping (logo) is of Toyota ... rest everything is from Suzuki. Service cost and maintenance of its sibling from original Mumma_Pappa (Suzuki) is not only less costly but also practically easy due to large service network Suzuki have. Toyota en cashing its brand value by simply fooling the people. Its selling the products designed and developed by Suzuki by just adding its logo. Indian buyers are ill informed so these companies are just fooling us. Toyota is well known for their engines but the engine used here (1.5 L Petrol) is taken from Suzuki. If i'm wrong kindly let me know and help me to update my knowledge. Thanks & Regards

This is maruti engine and ... Hybrid cars give more mileage in city as compared to highway... So don't think that in city if it gives 24kmpl thn it will give more in highway...rather it will give less thn that in highway
I had twice test drive at night , the light throw is very poor , you can't drive it more than 60 kmph at highway because of low visibility due to its headlight on bumper ....secondly Toyota has compromised on build quality

Hi, can you explain when to use MODE B in toyota hyryder
When you are driving in mountains...you drive towards sharp and deep slope. All the time brake remains applied. You don't need to keep brake pressed.
Do the comparison video with vitara...
Surely we will do
Reviewer - question xyx...abc..mno.....bla bla bla ......
Owner's answer- bahot badia Hai, koi dikkat nhi Hai
Toyota must have to change the thin sunroof.....
Wat about battery 🪫 maintenance after few years.
8 years ki warranty hai battery ki bro
What is the battery cost if need to replace after 8 years?
1.5 lacs
Sir, can I go with the neodrive G variant?
Sir I am planning to buy Hyryder G Neodrive (mild Hybrid), on road 19.5 lakh Bangalore.
But in the same price I can buy Hyryder S strong hybrid but base varient.
Please suggest, which one you will suggest to buy, daily traveling 30 to 40 kms in the city.
Thanks
owner is very calm
Highway pr milage kam milega kyoki above 50 kmph ye petrol use krti h. Jese he 100+ jaoge to petrol jyada legi
Yes Exactly, it uses both motor and engine when you go 50+ but if you go beyond 80-100 then it uses pure petrol
Just need to correct it can still run on battery even at higher speed..all depends if the battery is charged atleast 3 bars..otherwise at usual 40 its mostly EV
Hi Sir, I saw you doing ownership reviews ,I own a VW Virtus, 2 weeks Old and 2000 km run.
if you want to do a review pls let me know.
Kindly send us your details like Name, Mobile and Your Location at our email id aman@motorbyte.in. Yes we would like to do your car review definitely
The build quality is same like Maruti Grand vitara which is light and not matching the price.
21 bali look nhi.. Look thodi bulky honi chahiye thi
In karmataka its 25.5Lkhs price
yes please review again
kiska review bhai
Sir ji base model is better than top model because difference is more than 8 lack that's my personal view.
Base model does not have strong hybrid
Naman Bhai bahut cool hey.
Isse to acha kia 7 seater le lete saath mei features bhi aur 7 seat bhi
Great Video
This is maruti engine and ... Hybrid cars give more mileage in city as compared to highway... So don't think that in city if it gives 24kmpl thn it will give more in highway...rather it will give less thn that in highway
Yes correct
25.54 kmpl , I got on highway. G variant. Drive is awesome
Strong Hybrid version comes with Toyota Engine. Mild hybrid are Maruti engines.
18:50 sir ne baithe baithe ek haath se machar maar diya😀
😂😂😂😂
India mei ye gari only 23 lac ka hei..yehi gari agar Bangladesh me aa jae to iska price kamse kam 70 lac hoga
Pakistan Mai more then 1cr hoga
Hybird not good milage at all failure only giving 24 to 25 pure ev is giving 300 k/m
I had twice test drive at night , the light throw is very poor , you can't drive it more than 60 kmph at highway because of low visibility due to its headlight on bumper ....secondly Toyota has compromised on build quality
Battery plus petrol is much better than ev.
Good review
Value for money is not doubt S variant. Not G variant
Bro s varient me na to alloys aate hai nahi headlights aati hai aur na hi panaromic sun roof ati hai
Sun roof with only netting cover is weak point for this car in hot country like India. They should have made hard shell cover for sunroof.
