I'm also an architecture student and while I respect her choice of materials, mabati are neither locally sourced nor sustainable. Don't spread misinformation. Traditionally we built with wooden poles and mud with thatch roofs. Europeans actually introduced iron sheets which were manufactured in factories. Please acquaint yourself with the right info
