Bro , TDS is common for salaried/contract based employee ..when income is more than 5 Lacks itself TDS will be deducted by companies ..when income more than 10 lacks 20% ..more than 15 lacks 30% ....crore la earn pannuravangaluku entha 10% is like tips and this 10% they will show in IT return ..(10 crore naa antha player ku 30% tax so they will get 7 crore)..
TDS is not same for salaried and Consultant bro. Salaried you can give Projection under the category of Group 6 and TDS based on that only. For Consultant default 10% tds for each and every claim. They should file and get returns based on income, expenses & declarations
TDS is only 10%. But they have to pay tax for 10crores. 30% base tax, surge tax of 37%(tax on tax) above 5 crores. And health and education cess of 4%(tax on tax). So, effective tax is almost 45% if he gets in INR.
But most players get these amount in assets. So, they don't have to pay 45% tax.

I think it is just not TDS alone and they will get 9 cr. out of 10 but also it depends on the number of matches they are in the playing XI....if they warm the bench the entire season, probably they will get very less. Additionally, I believe the 10 cr. contract amount is for the contract period of 2-3 years or until further auction...just my understanding from what I heard
No bro full auction amount is for per season.. Eventhough he not played even single match for the team that year...still he get full auction amount bro... no reduction at all... except tax...
1.For example deepak chahar auctioned for 14 cr. Means he will get full 14 cr.. for this season alone..
2.Whether or not he played for csk or just sit in the bench he will get full 14 crore for this yr..
3. If he is not auctioned for nxt 3 yrs means he got to be retained for atleast 14 crs per yr for nxt 3 yrs.. so 14×3 = 42 crores for 3 seasons..
4. Full amount will be paid only if he is available for selection.. it means if he got any injury and not available for selection and went home.. then auction amount is given on a percentage basis..
5. So playing in XI is not important.. no pay only if he got injured..
6. And auction amount is for per season only.. if he performed well team will extend contract for same or higher price for nxt yr also...
