I had a beautiful 2021 R Slingshot with the auto. I hated the way it shifted i only had it 11 months. I sold it now I hace a Carmel GTS and love it. Both vehicle's attract different types of people. Be happy with the one you have.
Thanks for this video! Mine (Venice base) was delayed coming from the factory and I have to wait about another week. Your enthusiasm with your first time experience just made me feel better about waiting. I am looking forward to doing my own video and sharing a lot more of the technical details you didn't have.
I got sick last year and lost the strength in my legs so I sold my motorcycle and bought a 2021 Slingshot with auto. Slingshot brakes suck big time and the noise that comes from the rear end was terrible and it really sucks when it down shifted, as soon as you touch the brakes it starts down shifting. I sold it and bought a 2022 Vanderhall Carmel and I love it. the Vanderhall is built so much better than the slingshot. I cant wait to take the Carmel out for a ride.
I've driven the slingshot its a cool ride fun for the weekend on a nice sunny day... for that reason I'll test this one out the exhaust and turbo definitely sounds good. If that came stock on a slingshot thay would be sick
I like the Vanderhall lineup, but I wouldn't consider it a Slingshot killer. The obvious similarity is that they're both three wheel vehicles, and mostly open top, but that's pretty much where the similarities end. I believe both brands fill an entirely different niche market, but they're both cool in their own ways. Personally I own a 2021 Slingshot R w/ autodrive and paddles, but I could definitely see myself getting a Vanderhall one day.

I saw one of these yesterday and I immediately fell in love, even the wife was impressed. Got to do more research but I think I'll end up buying one.
Do it man!!
@@Mr.XR8996 yeah, I'm pretty certain I will.
They handle amazing. Not a rough ride either

You should post vanderhall vids... I'd watch! Especially on mods and upgrades

Dude why didn’t you put it in manual mode and try out the bump shifter? Would have been even more fun
Saw one of those in Boerne Texas and I loved how it looked!

It looks better than a Slingshot. It just needs a real manual trans.
I been wondering what's the sound system like the slingshots have a 200 watt bumping Rockford Fosgate system..
Why you say it’s only 4 in the US I seen a couple of those in my city and those are just base the Carmel is top of the line
can not wait for my order in Sep :-) the wait is killing me softly
Lookin good guys
Where and how much do you rent it for?

@@TishawnFahie all of what?
@@mjareacts2731 I was basically saying you nailed it! Both vehicles is for different crowds.
@@TishawnFahie already! I wasn't really sure, so I was just clarifying. Thank you ☺️
@@mjareacts2731 absolutely!!
Nice! San Antonio!
I guess you never driven anything that was fast before.
Prefer it when your wife drives, she drives likes less of a grandma...
Buy a slingshot spend 3k on a stage 1 turbo kit have 280 hp..and have an extra 5k in your pocket..cool vehicle tho. ✌️😎
And it will still look like crap
this one has heated seats, heater, some models have air-conditioning, doors, and a roof. (Carmel model)
And no traction
