Getting the “shag” haircut would actually be ideal for someone with thick hair since it removes a lot of weight and creates texture. Generally layered haircuts work great with thick hair.

look up ‘shag haircut’ on yelp. i’ve found that a lot of hairstylists that do shags have instagram accounts, and they will post something like “#(city)hair” or things like that. they’re typically younger stylists! it also helps to find what salons are new and trendy in your area. “razor cut” is also something to search! you can always do it yourself too if you’re feeling bold enough haha

Oh nooo!!! Please don't scruff your hair with that towel like that, it causes breakage and frizz! It is better to use a cotton t-shirt and to gently squeeze and blot your hair to remove excess moisture.
