The reason that the PC runs Minecraft properly without a GPU is that, minecraft is a CPU-intensive game, meaning that it doesn't need a GPU to give you some impressive FPS. I expect the PC to perform above-average in other games like RDR2, GTA5, etc

Cpu bottleneck. Minecraft is a cpu-intensive game, and generally a good rule of thumb to tell if a game is cpu intensive vs. gpu intensive is "how many objects are in the game" (more is harder on the cpu) and "how detailed are the individual objects" (more detail is harder on the gpu). So you could probably crank up those settings from fancy to fabulous and get the same framerate because of your graphics card, but spawn 100 creepers on the original graphics settings and your framerate will fall off a cliff

You must have had your house not set up right my gym 1080 max settings overclocked I get 700fps - 400fps then with heavy mods around 200
With Minecraft java edition, if you bring up the screen that shows FPS then it actually brings down the FPS a significant amount
