Hello Steve, how terribly sad about lovely Crocker😢 If you do ever get over this tragedy, it will be in your own time, as there no limit to the healing process. Thoughts are with you my friend 🙏 Thank you for sharing this.

I saw your video today Steve and it broke my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend. I know you don't I want to hear this but I don't think it was your fault. You're a strong young man and you'll come back from this.Crock knows how much you loved him, I really believe that. You take it easy my friend.

Steve, it wasn't your fault. You didn't know where Crocker was laying and it sounds like you had no way of knowing about the cancer or I'm sure you would have had him treated. I just lost my 15 year old female lab "Truffle" on Jan 2nd 2023 and my 15 year old male lab "Buck" last night Feb 2nd 2023. I'm going thru that pain as you are. I think the only way to cope and heal from these losses is to try and remember all the good times and know that we will be with them again when our time comes. God bless you buddy. These are great dogs that we were blessed to know and have had in our lives as friends.
