I think you should show him 'Snuff' to show him Corey's range. That song will forever be imprinted in my soul. Thanks again for another incredible reaction. ♥
I still think that Eric needs to listen to HERETIC ANTHEM from IOWA. He needs to have his brains blown out, he’s not ready for that song Slipknot said that they knew it was a good take in studio, when Corey puked after singing a song. That’s how aggressive he went with his vocals, which is mind blowing #MAGGOTS
This song holds a very special place in my mind. I loved the self titled album, and saw them live for that tour, but when Iowa cam out it spoke to the darker places of my mind, especially repressed childhood trauma that was surfacing. It was also a few months after my girlfriend had passed away at her own hands, and I hadn't addressed any of the damaged that had caused me. Listening to the album one night, at vibrating volume, the music dig in to me and released so much pent up pain. I screamed and cried for hours, saw and remembered things my subconscious had buried, lived through those flashbacks. It was another vital point in my years of therapy, and I will always remember the connection to the music.
that kind of stuff is really what defines the greatest music... very cool that you could use it to heal to that extent, and shows how powerful SK's music is. A lot of their stuff also reminds me of the good and bad (and repressed) of my childhood as well, and I think that's part of what keeps me coming back constantly as a fan
I found them at Volume 3 as well. About the time when TH-cam was starting out I stumbled on the music video for "The Nameless" and I was blown away at how different it was from anything I had heard before and then I discovered the IOWA sound and holy shit it opened up the doorway for me to be a metal head lol love you guys keep reacting!
Slipknot in concert was one the best things I have experienced. I remember listening to this as a teen and now being in my late 30's this song is still on my playlist.
I am so happy that you showed this one to Eric, I love this song and I knew Eric would love it! Corey is a BEAST as well as the rest of the band. Kyle is right, this album was when they all hated each other but their music was tight as it ever has been. Great reaction again guys, hoping Kyle can show Eric more SlipKnot!
I will never forget this album and Mudvayne's LD50 going toe to toe for album of the year for me(they were close enough). LD50 is my favorite of the two but both are classics.
❤❤❤ I was introduced to Slipknot because I believe this is the song they used at the end of the first Resident Evil movie, all my friends at school in eighth-grade we're going nuts about it LOL
There is actually a directors cut of this music video that is more disturbing. It includes a scene where the boy goes down to the storm cellar and wipes blood onto his face and stabs something off camera with a meat hook. I don't know why this version became so hard to find but it's the only version I recognize as "the original".
I feel like when introducing people to Slipknot, the song "Iowa" should always be last. Although it's a masterpiece, it's a track that should be savoured and built up to. Can't wait to see more 'knot reactions! 🔥🤟
We need a reaction to snuff the live performance is something a little different for y’all to do shows Corey’s range and will definitely make ya tear up a bit but for sure an enjoyable performance!!l
you guys should react to Muse Wont Stand Down And Kill Or Be Killed, they are not really a metal band but they've done some hard songs in the past but in their last album they tried to go full metal on those 2 song love your videos
I think as others metioned heretic Anthem would be a good reaction as well. Then maybe Gently from the 2nd album, but i'd keep genlty as a do this before Iowa. From self titled there are a lot of options, or maybe dig into vol3. with the classic Before i Forget, Duality, Pulse of the Maggots, Opium of the people
IOWA is by FAR their best album. For me personally, everything after .5 is shit, and even some of .5 is shit. Granted they were a lot younger but Iowa had the "fuck you punch in the face" attitude that I love.
Still prefer the first album I remember when it came out it was just like dafuq is this and it was an album that drove my parents nuts it just calmed me which is weird to say but the heavier the drums (Joey RIP) the more I find it helps but when i went to the signing it was for Iowa and it caused a riot in Glasgow fans went berserk a good memory and it was awesome then the gig afterwards just such a good time in life when metal was metal and angry and raw love it you should get a reaction of Max Cavalera Inflickted bloody amazing and the lyrics or anything Soulfly with max. Slipknot aren't what they were and it was so sad when Paul passed and then Joey during the lockdown omg I was distraught huge joey fan
I think you should show him 'Snuff' to show him Corey's range. That song will forever be imprinted in my soul. Thanks again for another incredible reaction. ♥
He's heard Snuff but it'd be cool if they reacted to a live version or something so they wouldn't have to keep fielding Snuff questions anymore 😂
100% agree, "Dead Memories" is a good one as well
Or circle off of volume 3
@@Xeroforte Wait what! I can't find a video anywhere! :(
@@solar5406 Ahhh yes! Vermillion Pt 2 is also a goodie.
This has always been one of my favorite songs from Slipknot

IOWA is the best album, my opinion
I love the song called Iowa too and the album.

God damn man! Joey was such a special drummer, one of a kind!
Left behind has the most evil sounding guitar riffs at the beginning.
I have been listening to slipknot since they started.
Slipknot in concert was one the best things I have experienced. I remember listening to this as a teen and now being in my late 30's this song is still on my playlist.
Мальчики, вы очень классные!
Iowa is my favorite Slipknot album. I related a lot with the angst of this album at the time this album released.
(sic) is one of the best songs ever made. From a true maggot that is essential
As a kid who was born and raised in Iowa this is soooo nostalgic.
My plague is another banger from Iowa!
I am so happy that you showed this one to Eric, I love this song and I knew Eric would love it! Corey is a BEAST as well as the rest of the band. Kyle is right, this album was when they all hated each other but their music was tight as it ever has been.

Not sure if Eric knows it, but you should show him ‘Wait and bleed’! I think he would enjoy that one! One of their best older songs in my opinion.
I will never forget this album and Mudvayne's LD50 going toe to toe for album of the year for me(they were close enough). LD50 is my favorite of the two but both are classics.
It's a shame both bands departed from the sounds of those albums. Definitely their peaks
Deffo more slipknot!
Can’t wait for y’all to do disasterpiece. Disasterpiece was what took me from a pure hip hop head too a mostly metal head now.

@@Rykerroad shit how did I miss this one. Thanks for the link!
I'm all for more Iowa era Slipknot introduce Eric to either Heretic Anthem, Metabolic, or Iowa.
I remember Iowa being absolutely huge when it came out, I got a video with a magazine that had some music videos on it, this one being one of them :D
Always here for Corey!
We will always miss JJ. He wad a phenomenal member of the band and it's going to be hard to replace his talent and devotion

Hell yea. Beartooth has a new song out. Hope to see that reaction soon!!!

🤘🏻❤Joey!!!!, Rykerroad!!!❤❤🤘🏻🤘🏻
you can tell Kyle is a true maggot by how into the song he gets haha
Snuff - acoustic version live
😂 the thumbnail
I think you should show him stone sour. Hesitate, Haunt Me, and Song #3. To show Corey's style, vocal range, and all over talent
Out of all the gnarly death metal and deathcore I listen to this is the most angry album out of all genres of metal there is out there
Another vote for Heretic Anthem. It's quintessential Slipknot. 🤘🏻
As weird as IT sound i realy needed this today so thanks guys 🤟
There isn't a video. But yall should xhe out "the shape" so feiggin heavy
Solway Firth , Orphan , and Unsainted from we are not your kind , and my plague , heretic anthem from Iowa and
Dude can do no wrong. His other bands, full band or solo, Corey Taylor is a force.
you guys should react to Muse Wont Stand Down And Kill Or Be Killed, they are not really a metal band but they've done some hard songs in the past but in their last album they tried to go full metal on those 2 song
love your videos
You gotta do Dead Memories
We already know that one sadly.
Nero forte , duality , wait and bleed , and snuff . Y’all need to them out
Corey Taylor ripping his throat out = Get This.
Solway Firth, Eyeless, AOV
I called Iowa "The Second OHIO!"
I think as others metioned heretic Anthem would be a good reaction as well.
Then maybe Gently from the 2nd album, but i'd keep genlty as a do this before Iowa.
From self titled there are a lot of options, or maybe dig into vol3. with the classic Before i Forget, Duality, Pulse of the Maggots, Opium of the people
This might be my favorite slipknot song. Aside from snuff which is great in a separate way
I think Eric should see or Kyle if he hasnt seen it. Is the 2009 Live at download fest

People like what they like. No need for hate. Pls check out Harry Mack the goat off top freestyle rap artist imo.
" I dont want to say darker, but darker stuff" ummmmm, Slipknot is pretty straight forward
one ear always hears Slipknot while killing orks in Ukraine
Snuff next?
Day 43 of asking for Weak by Sombr
I think is the only clean track on the Iowa album
😢😢 where's Twenty One??
Soon.
more nf music please
It's coming.
Judging the biggest metal band in the world? Bruh come on you ain't it yet, I mean dated ??😂
Slipknot fell off a cliff after Iowa.
This was soundtrack fodder. Play something off the first album
