  • The Temple was originally one of two guardian temples that were built on the east and west sides of the main entrance to Kyoto when it was the capital of Japan. This was during the Hein Period, just about 12-hundred years ago. The west temple no longer exists, but Toji, which literally translates to “east temple” survived and is now a designated UNESCO World Heritage site.
Toji Temple is located southwest of Kyoto Station - just one stop on the Kintetsu Line. From Toji station, it’s about a ten minute walk. Alternatively, you could exit the south entrance of Kyoto station and walk south to the temple grounds. Either way, keep in mind that you’ll want to enter through the north entrance, as the south entrance does not offer access to the main halls and gardens. The entrance fee for adults is 500 yen.

Just use Google Earth. Set your destinations by simply typing them into search bar. Record your screen with some kind of screen recorder. If you're using a mac, QuickTime has one built-in.It's pretty simple once you download Google Earth, but let me know if you need some help.

I don't use drones in my videos. I wish I could, but in Japan, you're not allowed to use them in populated areas.
