- This is a compilation of some of the heaviest riffs I wrote for Doom Eternal TAG (Immora, UAC Atlantica and Blood Swamp's Trial of Maligog).
For those of you who don't know - this video has been a collaboration with the Doom community (arguably the best game community on the planet).
I asked them to send me clips of their best glory kills and within a day or two I had over 100 to work with!
Thank you all who submitted clips and helped make this video happen.

They're allowed to use their own music themselves, but it's legally not their own.
This is what I love to see from composers, a high level of interaction with the community! Awesome work man!

0:19 is the sound equivalent of pure adrenaline and i love it, you’ve done an amazing job on the ancient gods soundtrack as a whole levy
i also love how at 2:10 when that chainsaw noise plays, it merges with the main riff and makes it even more brutal
I don’t know what dark magic you used, but anytime I hear Headstomp while playing Immora on nightmare I just get this strange skill increase, keep on slaying out there David!

UAC Atlantica's suite of tracks are still my favorite of your work to this day. That level's music coupled with its level design and aesthetics is why it's my favorite level in the whole game. Awesome work, my man!

One thing I've always been curious about David, for the choir parts did you use unused spares from when Mick got his heavy metal choir, did you make your own choir or those are just some random samples?
For Immora, I believe he and Andrew had access to everything!
I had access to the raw material Mick and Chad recorder. I rearranged and processed the original parts on new ways creating everything you hear on the Immora tracks. 🤓
This is something I am learning for the first time. So cool!

I'm just speechless listening to it right now. This is gods work right here. I like to imagine that the music is connected to the Doom Slayer, so any time he approaches the demons, they hear this. This is masterful. An absolute musical genius this man is. I wouldn't have enjoyed Immora as much as I did if this music wasn't blasting so hard it made my skull vibrate. Masterpiece👌

Like most of the community I love Mick and his work but Immora has to be one of the best if not THE best track since the revival of DOOM
Perfect track for a last level where youre breaching into the main city of hell to finish the never-ending fight with an army along side you. You can even perfectly imagine the sentinels actuallly shouting the chants as they push foreward into hordes of demons along side the slayer

Fun fact: this hook plays only once at the very end of the track (full Maligog track is over 12 mins long!) and doesn’t sound like the rest of the “regular” hooks. The drum beat on it is different (it’s playing a “4 on the floor”) and the guitar rhythm is a little different as well.

When I heard Mick was getting removed from id Software and some unnamed composers would be working on The Ancient Gods/the next Doom game, I was genuinely crushed. But The Trial of Maligog, the part at 6:00… I don’t remember the last time I grinned so fucking idiotically. That part is actually incredible. I’m glad id got someone so amazing. Jesus Christ dude. Keep it going. Those synth melodies + drums are something else.

Trial of Maligog has never slapped nearly as hard as it does here. I know wishing for a full release is a fever dream, but the work you put into these cannot be overstated. Keep up the great work!
Excellent tracks, Levy! There's a lot of stuff in them that wasn't audible in-game. Hopefully iD will decide on releasing your official music in all it's glory. Favorite track of Part 1 went to the Blood Swamps, and Immora's went to Part 2.
