do you not get xp if you don't watch or are you just watching to learn from the AI? I know you probably addressed this in the video but I guess I didn't pick up on it.
My understanding is that characters get exp based on the damage they deal. On top of that they get an exp bounty when they down an opponent. I think they get the kill bounty exp but not the damage dealt exp when you auto resolve.
Question. My primary weapon is a one handed sword lvl 5 legendary which is great in arena tournaments. If I make my secondary weapon a great polearm does the game give me my polearm in the arena or does it give me default polearm?
Good question, thanks for asking! In the arena you use your own armor but everything else is provided by the arena. Weapons and horses are the same for all contestants. I highly recommend polearms though. I have a video detailing how to make the polearm I use. Two handed axes are great too. I haven't made a video on how to make my axe yet but I plan to in the future. Have you explored leveling your blacksmith skill yet?
It may be that it's similar or maybe even the same type of sword but it won't be your sword, meaning it won't have the legendary modifier your sword has. If you travel around you'll find that each culture has their own arena tournaments with different weapons in each kingdom. You'll even find tournaments where you use swords that don't look like yours. That aside, I'm interested in hearing about why you favor one-handed weapons. I have a campaign where I leveled one-handed to 330 but I didn't find it as good as two-handed or polearm. I'm not trying to knock it but I'm interested in your perspective. You know with blacksmithing you can make some pretty amazing one-handed tier six legendary swords. Have you found any builds you like? What you do take into the arena, as far as weapons go, is your skills. If you are focusing on melee skills I recommend you level them all to at least 250. It's worth it for captain perks if not for your own use.
The sword I made for my cavalry "tank" companions has 90 speed, 104 damage, 114 length, and 92 handling with a shield breaker perk (no it's not a falx). Is that something you'd be interested in or would you prefer a shorter version with 97 speed, 98 damage, 99 length and 97 handling (also with the shield breaker perk). If those don't sound good to you I'd love to hear about your swords stats, I might need one too.
@@angrygoldfish9607 Thanks for the reply. My one handed sword is tier 6 Highland decorated blade/engraved hooked scimitar guard/half leather covered wire bound tow handed grip/turqouise pommel. Speed 93/102 cut/104 length/94 handling. I haven't lengthened or shortened anything because I don't know what that does. Current one handed skill level 291. Break the other guy's shield. I have a shield. He doesn't. With the 275 perk speed and damage are greater than those listed on the sword and with the 250 smithing perk got 2% swing damage with crafted weapons.

Good question, I don't think I did address it. They do get xp when you skip, I believe, but it's not as much.

@@angrygoldfish9607 Yes I'm leveled up in blacksmith primarily with one handed swords. I'm pretty sure my sword in the one I use in tournaments.
