14:41 The 806 is a very good tractor. There are a lot of them out there with 20,000+ hours without being overhauled. This tractor was very important for IH after the 560 disaster with their recalls and failed rear ends. IH would have been done sooner than 1985 had this tractor been a flop. Even Deere guys have a lot of respect for the IH 806. That said, the 4020 out sold the 806 by a wide margin. The 806, again, a very good tractor, did not eat the 4020's lunch. I hope you can get the red tractor of your choosing at a good price.
That Farmall C on steel at the beginning of the video is quite interesting. Torque Amplifiers were an option and there's a difference between a T/A delete and a tractor ordered without one. The serial number will have a suffix. Usually 2 letters follow the serial number, ie 8500 S-Y If the letter S is behind the serial number, it would have had a T/A, and therefore it's deleted. If It has a P, then it was built without one. The Y or Z denotes the hydraulic pump. The 3 1256s and the 1466 were really good from the video footage.
Great Video! Did you ever relocate the 1586 IH that came out of Michigan you did a video on ? That was our old tractor. I want to buy it back, lots of sentimental value here ! Cheers
The three 1256 amigo"s from Grateful Acres Eq.. All three would look great on your farm. I like the narrow front best. I think that was priced at 19K the most expensive was priced at 22K. Some really sharp tractors.
Any one of those Internationals would be a great buy. The ta delete is kind of a let down but if you could get it for the right price. One of those 1256s would look real good with that 826 parked next to it in your shed.
Check with the locals if you don't win one tomorrow. Huge collection up for auction starting the end of the month in same neighborhood . Lifetime collection spanning 3 days.
10 years ago at Bloomsburg at the Red power Showdown show chapter 17 had I remember he had a 1066 hydro and a 1066 gear both completely restored diff locks on both of them. Both were weighted up and bonnet on them if I remember correctly. Like new ones
Love the wide front ends ,,,,, fenders need to be on The narrow front end when you showed the back something about the paint job bothered me not sure why You saw it live in person I'm sure you would have caught it Nice looking stuff looks don't plow the fields See what they go for 826 needs TLC bothers me why was things not fixed Good luck hope you get what you want Roger
Unless it had a FEL I see no problem with a row crop. As I age I like the idea of a roll bar since I might break a hip if it flips and I have to jump clear. North Central Ohio I notice on Market Place a lot of crap for big prices. TA don't work. You can see no remotes and lots of oil leaks from the pictures. When you can see weather checked tires from the pictures they are pretty bad. If I was selling a overhauled tractor I would mark how many hours on it if it had a tach. I don't want to be morbid but I remember an M that the guy rebuilt the engine and clutch to the rear axle in the Spring and died and it sold in the Fall. Everyone wanted it to help his widow.
i have a 154 cub lo-boy 1970 something, i replaced the piston rings and rebuilt the engine. the metal head gasket is leaking as i tried reusing it the head had a crack in it what would you use to seal the metal gasket. i also have smoke coming up the oil fill its a C60 and its my first project plz help
Did notice the 1256 NF had standard ,56 series rear fenders ( 2 lights on each side) compared to the 2 1256 WF ( one light per side or standard 66 series fenders) .
I think if those tractors go for 20-30k that's too much myself. I get they'll still work and new is really high but that stuff is old. What kind of hp are those tractors? The one with the 2 PTO's seems like that would be a good tractor for a small farm but I don't know a lot about it or what I would need as far a capabilities go to do what. A remote would power your hydraulic lift cylinders/ unfold/ gate on bailers etc.(I think) You can plow and harvest/do whatever you need with it if I understand things correctly, right?
I’m still hoping for the 826. Those 12s look good, but a muscle tractor has wide front in my opinion. I’m a sucker for ROPS and a canopy though too, that’d make the 826 look nice.
Looks like a huge auction. Be running late. 3-1256s and a 1466. Man, that 1466. What a great tractor. Over $30k for sure. I think. Never know. if two guys get competing for something.

I use my 560 gas almost every day. The diesel 560 was awfully primitive. I wouldn't get a diesel older than 56 series. As for TAs I have only seen one TA go out over 60 years and dozens of Red Power tractors and that was due to abuse
@@FarmallFanatic that was a very nice lineup of International tractors. I never operated a 14 with a narrow front. At the time several neighbors had 300 Massey combines, that 7 would leave them behind in a trail of smoke.
