it’s a fantastic vacation spot. you can ride your bike everywhere. there’s lots of bike trails. and you can also ride to the beach if you stay at a hotel or resort close enough. also, the dolphin boat ride is really fun
Do not hire WATER WORKS pressure washing . South Carolina. None of the employees could pass a drug screening if their moms life depended on it. The owner is as much a mouth breather, liar as the people he employs. For residential after driveways are surfaced clean. They spray straight on the residential driveways and side walks. But for community contracts like the one for Sun City. They just surface clean. And not spray the sidewalks with “bleach, straight” after it’s surface cleaned. So it dirties sooner and they can pull more money out the contact for it. Sooner because they didn’t do it correctly or the same process as driveways and sidewalks for residential. SCAM. COMPANY. I was living on Hilton Head Island in 1975. Nobody even heard of Hilton Head Island in those days. We had no traffic, no street lights and no police (not needed). There were mornings where I felt like I had he whole Island to myself. My rent was $150 a month. Spent my days at the beach and worked nights at the Plantation Cub at Sea Pines.
Is ocean warm during spring break there? I plan to go there with my family next March and wondered if it's possible to swim in ocean during this time of the year.
+Beautiful Stranger I wouldn't recommend it. Ocean water will still be damn nippy at that point. It's hardly the equator. Go there in early September for the best time to be had. Oysters in season, ocean water like a pool, and tourists/kids back in school & off the beaches.
I'm from Argentina, lived in Hilton Head from 2005 to 2010.Such a wonderful place to live or visit. i used to live near the coligny circle, worked at the Piggly Wiggly supermarket and at the T.J MAXX store, both located at Shelter Cove, over the 278. also went to high school there... GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!! :) greeting from Buenos Aires!!
i go hear every summer and it is the greatest place on earth. i could spend the rest of my life hear. this video underestimates hilton head. it is pure epic.
I rented a small house on Honey Horn Plantation in 1975 for $150 a month. No rental application, No deposit...Just drop off the rent each month. I use to watch polo matches out my living room window. I know it's unbelievable but It's true! At the time you could rent a one bedroom condo in Harbor Town with a view of the lighthouse for $350 a month.
@@jstoli996c4s I live on HHI as well. There’s plenty to do, however it does get quiet sometimes after you’ve been there for a while. I’ve grown up here all my life and personally I’m yet to dislike it in any way.
@@lilfastnut5378 thanks for the feedback. I've stayed there twice on 1 week vacations. I got bored near the end both times, so HHI is probably a great vacation spot for me vs a full time living arrangement.
Clayton Brown LMAO!!!! YES HONEY!!!! I'm originally from NC and we thought all the damn Yankees there on Oak Island was bad but when we moved here due to my dad's work, we were very unpleasantly surprised! It's really not that fun AT ALL. Not much to do.
I know this is too late but you shouldn't have. It's boring for the locals. Not much to do. Much better coastal towns out there... unless your here to enjoy nature.
Absolutely! There is always something to do and see on Hilton Head Island. Whether you love art, food, or nature you can find what you are looking for! You can check out more about Hilton Head Island here: www.hiltonheadisland.org/
Spinnaker Resorts in heading there on June 8 but I live in mnsota so for me it's a 2 day drive so it's worth it but on the way back we will see old friends in Kentucky where I used to live
M Julian Tampa is getting crazy busy; I’ve been living there since 2006. I visited HHI a couple years ago and loved it, but not sure if it’s too quiet there to live full time? What’s your experience been so far?

Take it from a local. No. It's full of annoying snobby rich Yankees and there isn't THAT much to do unless you are here for nature.
how would you compare this to Florida beaches?
orlanflor more outdoorsy and cultural compared to the tropical vibe of Florida
