Many people at my high school went to Myrtle Beach for spring break but I've never been to either. I think I should visit both just to make up my own mind! Broadway at the Beach sounds fun and the beach and parks at Myrtle Beach look beautiful. From your detailed descriptions, I'd say Hilton Head Island sounds more our style. I would love to visit both of these places! Nice to know Myrtle beach may be a bit cheaper on average than Hilton head. But both look really beautiful. I would love to be laying on those beaches. Nice Hilton head has so many golf locations, but those beaches look lovely. even though they are both great, I can see why Hilton Head would be your favorite Jack. Our vote is MB because we love camping at Huntington Beach State Park. This year we had to cancel our trip since we are in Japan for 3 weeks. Yep still there, but will be coming home soon.

That’s funny… I just watched a video on the Gatlinburg version of the pirate show you had at the beginning of the video. Both are beaches but it is almost an apples and oranges comparison. I guess it depends on how fat your wallet is and whether you are in the mood to deal with people or not. I haven’t been to HHI but your description matches everything else I’ve heard about the place. Probably hard to go wrong with either choice.
I used to go to Hilton Head a ton growing up. I had a relative who lived there, so that was our spot. I haven't been in such a long time and I'm sure it's changed a ton. I honestly couldn't comment on it or compare it to Myrtle Beach. I do really love visiting Myrtle Beach, however. Broadway, Boardwalk, Barefoot Landing, Murrells Inlet, all the attractions and so many great restaurants. This will be our first year not going in a long time, but we just couldn't fit it into our insane schedule. I definitely want to visit Hilton Head again. I have so many memories of that place. My favorite calling this guy "Fabio" who had long hair and was walking down the beach wearing a Speedo. He chased me for a bit. 1 was 14, so maybe he let me get away. Dude was pretty fast. I also remember the big bridge entering/exiting the island, San Muguels (my first Mexican Restaurant), Sandy Paws Pet Shop, the old water park, lots of gators everywhere, Greg Russell, Harbortown, the first Walmart I ever visited, Shipyard, Sea Pines, so many other memories. Excellent rundown on both places. I wish I could give my opinion, but maybe at a later date, once I've visited Hilton Head again.
