The 2nd Game is a cut to hell mess. While still a great story, has a lot of stuff that was cut, and that alone hurts the story.
The 1st game is better, and offers more in the way of a story.

Whoa awesome work! Revan is my favorite SW character, and I love the KOTOR games, this was great! Bastila's battle meditation would be a really powerful help to Darth Revan and would help him conquer the republic faster. I like how he chose Bastila over Malak, his former friend as well. I also find it interesting how she joined him without falling to the dark side. Would love to see a future video about what if Revan faced the True Sith as they were described in KOTOR 2 (not the Emperor), and what if Anakin cut down Sidious in his office in ROTS?

Revan doesn't have to face Vitiate himself. No matter how powerful , no Sith nor Jedi can fight an endless army. Revan with his tactical mind, the SF,a united Republic , and with Malak would have crushed Vitiate in an all out war.

I pretty much agree except for the ending, I don't see Revan smiling like "YES! I HAVE DONE IT!" I feel like he would still be grieving over Malak possibly even shedding tears under his mask, but also feeling grateful that he didn't have to kill Bastila.
Rather interesting scenario. I like it. Yet it may doom the Galaxy in the long run. Let me explain.
Revan, as we know, needed a strong and large fleet to defeat the Republic, and he spared many of their military facilities and infrastructure. We know he would have abandoned the Star Forge as soon as the war ended, since it would do more harm than good. But leaving such a thing alone, and most importantly, intact, was dangerous. Nothing would have stopped Vitiate from obtaining it, creating his own Sith Armada to rival that of the Eternal Fleet itself. And as long as the Star Forge stood under his command, there was no stopping him. It's one thing to build ships over time, taking months and even years, but this thing creates them in days, weeks at best. As long as he had men, or droids, to man the ships, he was invincible in space, and on the ground where he could send wave after wave of droids created by the Star Forge. So unless Revan interjected, and destroyed the Star Forge before confronting the Sith Emperor, he would be victorious, in due time...
Well, we know he wouldn't need people in the end, as the foundry existed. He would've probably had a massive armada of droids!

I like to imagen that Raven would have destoryed the Star Forge after he won. We know that he study it of a time, and discovered that it was powerful. Raven always seeming to be 3 or 4 steps ahead of his enemys, wouldn't have left something like the Star Forge left to be put to use by someone else.
And Raven knowing about an incoming threat, would have prepared the Republic for that threat. Much like how the first Galactic Empire, formed. I imagine that it would be the same deal.

Imagine the romance between Bastila and Revan if this happened.
While it was a beautiful and intriguing moment (what happened after the fact, after all), Revan wouldn't be caught off-guard by Malak's approach, as he would be able to sense him coming through the Force. He wouldn't be caught off-guard like that.
Also, Revan definitely did have the power that Meetra did, to influence others like she did. He even studied Force Bonds extensively to do just that, and was able to turn even the closest of allies against one another. He had unspeakably powerful influence over people, the Force, and himself.

They could've done something similar with Rey and Kylo, and for a moment I thought it would happen. Mostly when TLJ started the Force-Bond between them.
It would've made a better story than what we actually got. That sucks.

Well this was something not an inch short of AWESOME! Revan has 'always' been my favourite, since I played the first game...
I agree with your alternate view here. Malak would have been struck down either way soon enough even if he had not betrayed Revan. I would go as far as saying Revan did not truly 'fell' to the dark side(as Kreia stated he did not) but he actually chose it 'for the greater good'. Malak on the other hand clearly fell and was massacring people right and left just for the sake of power and this is why Revan saw him as a threat to his plan to conquer first and then strengthen the remain for the Sith threat. Therefore I see Malak quite as I see Dooku, a pawn and instrument to be used and cast aside when there's no use for him anymore.
Bastila sure would have been the perfect apprentice/companion for Revan. She was young, possessed rare skills and powers and was brash and headstrong. Those qualities were something Revan needed and could use and manipulate. Also Bastila was a woman and thus could be 'used' to continue Revan's lineage and legacy if suitable chances occured(this of course happened anyways in different timeline). Bastila was a much better apprentice in all aspects and thus I actually believe that what you described in this video would actually have happened with an extremely high probability if Malak had not betrayed Revan like he did.
Although there's one thing I ponder. What if the space battle was so intense Malak had no chances to arrive to aid Revan in his fight against Bastila and the other jedi? What if Malak wasn't there when Revan cut down those jedi and offered his hand to Bastila and asked her to join him? Would Revan had shot at Malak's ship after getting Bastila as his apprentice? I believe Revan, Malak and Bastila could not have co-existed...
That's exactly why I went with the path of Revan removing Malak from the equation, because Malak was just truly corrupted whereas Revan was doing it for the greater good imo. That's a good question. The idea behind that was to ensure the idea of their *bond* still being present, but just reversed in how it occurred (Revan saving Bastila) It's plausible that Revan would have maybe *had* to take her captive instead.
Why? The Rule of Two wasn't a thing. And while Revan himself said that any master who trains more than one apprentice at a time was a fool, he could definitely hace schemed a way to secure a place for Bastila firmly within the ranks of the Sith. It could even hsce been argued that Malak has finished his training, and would have been promoted to a Sith Master in his own right, left largely to his own devices but still serving Revan ultimately, possibly also training Bastila? I feel that this is something Revan would not allow, as it would allow Malak to try turn Bastila to us side to betray Revan. However, due to the bond between them, and because of Malak's ineptitude with women (lol), I feel that this would definitely fail to happen. But I do love your vision of this alternate interpretation of events.

I disagree. The Sith are always looking to gain power. Malak tried before and lost, and with Bastila now in the equation, I think he would be glad to be rid of Malak in the end (hence why I added the part where he voices his sorrow to Bastila for his death at first) The sly smile is meant to represent more his deception towards Bastila, about not corrupting her though.

Malak's sneak-attack upon Revan "while he was engaged with Bastila's Jedi Strike Team" had weakened them both. The problem with Revan being The Master, and Malak being The Apprentice is" that MALAK WAS ALREADY AN ACCOMPLISHED JEDI TRAINED BY THE ORDER -along with Revan. There was nothing more Revan could add to Malak that is more than The Order had already given him. Malak was every -bit as much a voracious learner as Revan, and trained" just as hard. They were practically equals in training and knowledge, although" Revan had more than one teacher, but" THERE STILL WASN'T MORE HE COULD DO FOR MALAK "considering -that Revan is stronger in The Force. However", Malak had the advantage, THE DARK SIDE WAS STRONGER IN HIM! With his total immersion in The Dark Side along with the injury inflicted upon him by Revan, MALAK HAD THE FAVOR OF THE RULE OF TWO "THE DARK SIDE ALWAYS FAVORS THE APPRENTICE" all Malak had to do is" duel Revan face to face, and The Way Of The Sith will play-out as it always has. Malak had a special Force imbued body armor -along with his jaw piece, that was lightsaber and blaster resistant "likely -forged from Sith Alchemy" and he used a traditional Sith Lightsaber with a crystal he had corrupted, taken from a Jedi he sent to The Force. Malak's attack is aggressive and elegant, his uncanny blade" seeks-out the weakest point in an adversary's defense and offense to demoralize any resistance, and his Force abilities are formidable to Revan. Malak attacked Revan from a safe distance "OB1's highground" and used a sneak-attack, this tactic" weakened Malak in The Dark Side, while this tactic is acceptable" MALAK WOULD'VE BEEN MUCH STRONGER IN THE DARK SIDE HAD HE CONFRONTED REVAN FACE TO FACE! After Malak's sneak-attack", Revan wasn't the man he formally was after being saved from Chaos by Bastila Shan, HE WAS WEAKENED TO THE POINT WHERE HIS PERSONALITY WAS COMPROMISED BY THE JEDI ORDER" for the purpose of making him their tool!

I wish it did go that way. But the crazy thing is council didn't go to war because of a greater threat and Revan went to war and took care of the mandalorians and was preparing the entire galaxy to be ready for the greater threat and when the Jedi council decided to step in they messed everything up. because revin would have conquered the Galaxy and had amassed an army from the Star forge and been ready for the sith and the unknown regions and Revan would still be alive and so would have the exile.

I know this may seem like a strange idea but I'm curious, what do you think would've happened if Galen Marek/Starkiller was born during Kotor? If possible I'd appriciate a reply detailing your thoughts.
I’d find it interesting if he was alive well before The Clone Wars, and then create a plot where one of Starkiller’s clones is who Vader interacts with. How he gets from there to Vader would be fascinating; a secret project handled only by Darth Vader at Kamimo, somehow tied in with the clone army perhaps.
And why stop at one? Maybe Vader could have SEVERAL Starkiller clones as assassins, the clones completely unaware of each other, not even knowing they ARE clones. Or Vader could have his own little private army!

Thank you! No plans to make another just yet, but I have some ideas!
This is how I'd see it playing out.
Revan would've executed Malak earlier if he had already known Malak had fallen so far. So instead, I'd have made it so Malak would've taken a more passive role, waiting to see how the fight would've resolved itself. If the Jedi won, he'd fire on the ship. If they lost, he's continue to bide his time. Malak is also aware of the dangers beyond the known regions as far as I'm aware.
Next, the Jedi fight. I don't like the stasis field, it feels too gamey. It makes sense in video games, but in stories it feels too strong; why not execute the stasis enemies first? Instead, I'd make it so they weren't a threat to him. Revan didn't join in earlier because they weren't capable of threatening him in the first place. They'd all engage him, but he's used them against one another. When they'd strike together, he'd redirect their strikes to intercept or endanger each other. When they tried striking alone, he'd just overwhelm them showing no opening.
Bastila would know something's wrong, but it'll be a slow realization as they continued to fight; he was overwhelming them with just saber work. If he wanted to, he could defeat them and move one. They're dancing in his palm. And before she can share this realization, he had cut down both of her allies. This is where he spares her, seeing potential in her and her battle meditation.
I would've done away with Revan's full dark side fall and Vitiate's influence, letting his eyes remain without any corruption. It would've given Bastila more pause, since he hasn't actually fallen. He was doing everything with a clear mind. That there might be beings lurking beyond the known galaxy that the Republic is not ready for.
From here I'm not sure where I'd go.
I think the stasis was meant to pacify Bastila by demonstrating he could immobilize three Jedi while easily dominating her swordplay, which is Grand Master swordplay. I don’t think he intended to kill them; he would have let everyone live after Bastila surrendered.
He knew about her Force skill, and I believe somehow he orchestrated events intending for the Security Force to be there, at that particular point in time. That is in keeping with his skills at strategy, as well as his ability to control outcomes a long time and very far in advance. He makes Thrawn seem below average, surrounded by fools.
And his eyes? He’s going somewhere with those in a later chapter. A few possibilities: Bastila sees the transition, and immediately believes Revan can go in and out of the Dark Side at will - he’s has not at all succumbed to it;
Bastila is already falling in love with him, but knew she couldn’t be with him if he’s a Sith - his eyes showed his Light Side, or perhaps compassion, and that was the final affirmation she needed that allowed her to be drawn to him romantically;
Everything he had done up to that moment proved that Revan was in complete control of the immediate situation, that he had planned for her to be there. He was also in complete control of the overall Republic/Sith/Revanite Sith war, coordinating for the long game to destroy the Sith and tear down/build up the Republic (honestly, I don’t see why that needs to happen to kill Vitiate, oh well - different chapters), all in order to put Vitiate down for good, etc, etc. Balista may have understood what Revan was doing, or at least she was gaining confidence in Revan’s plan and leadership. His eye transformation is what let her feel she could also have FAITH in Revan - BELIEVE in him - FOLLOW him, even knowing this will put her at odds with The Order. As you put it, she could see, believe, and accept that Revan was operating with a clear mind, and most importantly, by his choice.

I wouldn't go with the Force Eyes myself to showcase that. Instead I'd use him using dark side powers without being corrupted by it. Showing his ability with that aspect of the Force, but not being influenced by it at the same time.

Definitely like this version better. I’d have loved The Story of Revan to be one where his plans and strategies played out generally as he had intended, at least as far as the climax with Vitiate. I’d also would like to have Revan replace The Hero of Tython with respect to The Eternal Empire, however the requirements to fit the timeline. I’d certainly like to read of a Revan who would ultimately overwhelm Valkorian, but wouldn’t mind if he needed some assistance.
Taking Malak out of the story and inserting Bastila this way was a genius stroke. I think I speak for many viewers that I’d very much like an alternative history novel named “Revan,” authored (and narrated!) by you.
It would also be interesting to read many novellas of Revan that went into detail about several of his Canon adventures, especially about how he came to be so widely regarded as so overpowering.

And yes I believe this is how it would have gone. If Malik wasn’t up his own ass with grandiose ideals of conquest. If he actually feared Revan. He would have not fired.

Fantastic and fascinating video my friend, I only saw the battle between Revan and Bastila on his ship from KOTOR Movie Saga's videos. It's intriguing to think what would have happened if Malak had not betrayed Revan and if Revan could have convinced her to join him. The same could be said for Anakin Skywalker, what if in Revenge of the Sith he had killed Palpatine when learning he was a Sith Lord. Or if Obi-Wan Kenobi or Padme could have convinced Anakin to come back into the light before becoming Darth Vader. Revan had to be redeemed and in order to do it meant Malak betraying him so the Jedi could restore his damaged mind. As for Vader redemption would come much later after so much death and destruction to serve his Master. Ahsoka Tano for one brief moment when they fought on Malachor I thought could bring him back to the light but it wasn't to be, only Luke Skywalker do that.
I've advanced to level 26 on Galaxy of Heroes but again it's no easy going, Cantina and Light side battles are still tough and I've tried to upgrade my players strength and abilities but it's not enough. I've taken challenges and claim rewards to advance but still I'm having trouble advancing. To gain more points or credits I've gone of to find like MK 1 Loronar power cell and engage in other side battles to gain more points. It's my only option since the other battles I'm fighting is really hard. George

My friend I need help, I'm on level 27 on Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and I can't go any further!!! The light side battles have become extremely hard, I'm being hit by rapid fire as soon as the first battle begins and losing players before I can fire the first shot!!! Again I've done what I can to strengthen my players strength and abilities but it's still not enough, Cantina battles I'm only making little headway. Again my only option to gain more points and credits is to take challenges or side battles that are easier. What can I do? George
My friend I've finally made it to level 30 on Galaxy of Heroes, it sure as hell wasn't easy. I've made some progress in the Cantina battles but again the light side battles are to hard, like I said before I'm taking side or arena battles to gain more points and credits. I wish I was as lucky as you to be on level 85 because who knows if I'll ever reach that. George
I thought you would discuss the future consequences to the Galaxy, and even how this event would have affected the actions of Kotor II characters, like the Sith Triumvirate. Instead, you focused on just one scene on the ship... :/
I'm sorry to disappoint. I had thought about just making it an *explanation* sort of thing, but the more I worked on the idea, the more I thought about making it an immersive story, and I was proud of how the story turned out. I may expand upon the idea on the future if that interests you 😉
At least at the end Malak killed by Revan at Star Forge fight. Revan destroy every capture Jedi so Malak unable drain the power. After almost all the capture jedi destroyed Revan killed Malak and at the end Malak finally die
Did you write this?? I really enjoyed it, it is really good! In fact, where is chapter 2?? I would love to write like this, and I hope you’re intending to publish a story or create an illustrated/audio novella. And by the way, your narration and depictions were really done well too - especially your narration. You’ve a great speaking and reading voice, and you really engaged me with your inflections. Just all around super.
Revan’s story is such a tragedy; I’m glad yours has Bastila falling in love with him - or at least on the path to. It’s an alternative which engages my desire to fall in love with only one particular woman, and knowing that regardless what alternative paths our journeys take us, we will always find each other.
The reason why I want to continue with your story is so I can learn whether Revan wants her to be a reason he needs to make the galaxy safe, instead of only his code and wont for vengeance. I don’t want the story to end with Revan being only a calculating tactician. Ideally, I’d like him to desire Bastila’s love first, with her Battle Meditation being incidental or at least secondary. And if the use of her Force ability was what he intended all along, then I’d like to think he’ll eventually reciprocate her feelings.
If it’s the latter, I’d like to know how he manipulated events to have her present on his ship, at that moment, along with an explanation on how he knew of her ability to begin with. I’d also like to read what the significance of the change in his eyes is, from Sith (or Dark Side?) to their normal appearance. You went into some detail , so there must be something! Finally, did he intend to spare the others? Probably not necessarily, since he killed the trooper; Malak’s appearance definitely would have changed his calculus.
So many turns the story could take! I actually got a little lost with the idea and ended up writing a couple pages - but I must have made a bad keyboard move, and lost it :(. Oh well, it still was fun - I 100% understand how you had fun with this. Really, really excellent!

I always believed that Revan being *baited* was silly, hence why I came up with the prospect that he *knew* of Bastila and her strike team and took the bait for a reason :)

Most likely if Malak didn't betray Revan Bastila would have been killed because Malak defeated Bastila and because later on you can either kill Bastila or bring her back to the light.

@@100StarWars 1. They had already turned to the Dark Side. 2. Bastilla was a known enemy of theirs. 3. Neither Revan nor Malak owed anything to Bastilla to warrant saving her life. 4. If Revan knew about her Battle Meditation, wouldn't it make more sense to eliminate that threat than risk not being able to convert her to the dark side?
If that were the case, wouldn't the Emperor and Vader have killed Luke? Or the Emperor killed Anakin? That's not how the Sith work, especially not the old Sith.
I think Darth Revan, the Lord of the Sith, the Dark Teacher of countless Dark Jedi and Sith Assassins alike would definetly try to recruit her, that's how this particular Sith Lord works; corrupt rather than destroy. Not out of love though (he is too deep into the Dark Side for that) but out of strategy: her Battle Meditation powers are just too good to pass out.
Also I think he would keep Malak alive. He's an asset in the battlefield; not worth the loss.

Kotor had to have the light side ending because there is no way Revan and Bastila would have lost in the dark side ending, they would have conquered the republic. And after the war, why would Darth Revan go off and challenge the emperor alone when he had an entire army to aid him. that's the reason he stayed on the dark side in the first place.

What if Meetra Surik Followed The Path of Kotor 2 where she would do the revolt on onderon with Vaklu and killed all the Jedi masters, but made allies for her own sake, and rebuilt the mandalorians, taking over Trayus Academy as a Light Side Sith Lord. What would happen then?

I dont agree with the fact that you make revan seem so evil and dark and that he was un redeemable, revan never fell to the dark side like others, like malak, he didn’t let it consume him, instead he consumed it he chose to use the dark side as a means to an end, he knew that the only way to beat the sith is to use their own power against them. He was never evil, he did what he did to save the galaxy from a terrible evil that would’ve consumed all life which vitiate wanted to do. After revan had his mind wiped and was a Jedi again and after he realized who he was, he wasn’t evil or consumed by the power of the dark side, just like before he used it but he realized that he would be more powerful if you he used the dark side with the light side which he does and he was able to contend with vitiate who is as powerful as sidious, EU sidious which says a lot about revans power he only lost because meetra surik was stabbed in the back which distracted revan enough for vitiate to subdue him with force storm, if it wasn’t for that revan would’ve won, the game makers and story writers said he would but due to them making the sith scourge see a vision of another person defeating vitiate so that their game line and story line would go on so they’d make more money, they had to make revan lose but if it wasn’t for that, revan would’ve won. Revan never fell, and Darth treya said this, that he never did, that all his choices were his own, and that if revan never went to war, the galaxy would’ve been lost, he chose the dark side in order to preserve the light in the galaxy. So you said he was never redeemed, like Vader, well makes no sense cause revan never fell in the first place
Actually he did succumb, some other YT’er found evidence all over Canon/Legends. I like to think, however, at that moment, far away from Dark influence and away from its grip, he could transition in amd out at will, by choice. I don’t like to think of him as a slave to the Dark Side, but Vitiate was stronger and even he did - although Vitiate WANTED to. Between Vitiate, the Star Forge, the planet…that’s a tough combination. Further away?
I don’t know, everyone is all over the place on this one, and it might just boil down to what you want to believe. I want him to have chosen all along and used his will to remain free - except for moments. I want his core to be good, or at least, not evil. But when he had to do evil, hate, have vengeance, he knew what he wanted to do, chose to do it, and draw upon the Dark Side to accomplish it - which would be necessary if he’s going to genocide an entire world for the greater good.
I don’t see Luke Skywalker making that leap. Maybe even Vader? There always was his good, down deep, waiting…
If Malak never betrayed Revan, HK was on Revans ship, Saul Karath was leading the sith fleet with Malak and Revan was at full power... the republic would collapse. Bastila would join Revan hands down, Admiral dodonna would be killed while leading the fleet, Revan would advance into republic territory in a counter attack taking Kuat, Mon Cala, Corellia, Taris, Fondor and would also have the starforge producing reinforcements including dreadnoughts. Out gunned, out matched, Fondor, Kuat, Mon Cala and Corellia lost (No ship production), their admiral dead, bastila leading the sith fleet with battle meditation, Malak leading the armies beside revan, Saul leading the space battles and eventually the mandalorians joining the sith... With the sith fleet on Corellia they could blockade all hyperspace lanes then launch a strategic strike on the senate tower and jedi temple killing both the Supreme Chancellor and Jedi Council in one fell swoop. The republic would die and Revan would have a son/daughter (Other than Vaner) who is force sensitive to carry on his legacy with HK serving as the right hand assassin of the Revan Dynasty forever. Or revan would murder bastila and nuke coruscant... can never really tell with sith #Unpredictable lol
That’s pretty good! I don’t know about killing the Chancellor and Council, but that might be what he meant about tearing the Republic down to build it back up. But if anyone will do it, without hesitation nor reservation, it is Revan. He’s clearly capable of being an Emperor or Chancellor, and he’s probably the only person able to keep the Star Forge on standby and not hold the galaxy hostage. He would be my ideal for a benevolent dictator.
I don’t think he would remain in that position. I’d think he’d force top down reforms, including putting the Trade Confederation and planet-size mega corporations in a vise, stripping them of their power and influence. Then turn it back over to the Senate, withdraw into the background, keep the keys to the Star Forge, and watch and listen.
He absolutely falls in love with Bastila. He already had before she showed up - like the strategist he is, he was putting things in motion to let Bastila start to fall in love with him on her own accord. Oh boy, I went into detail on his eyes on the above comment.
Suffice it to say, she was drawn to Revan, romantically, but was confused and concerned he had succumbed to the Dark Side; she knew she could never be with a Sith, even knowing she loved him. When Bastila saw his eyes transition, she instantly knew Revan could go in and out of the Dark Side at will, by choice. She knew he was good; both Jedi, and Sith, and neither.

Revan is also to blame. He should've retaken the Sith Empire back from Malak and continued his campaign. But alas, the Star Wars curse takes over; that the good guys must always win.

If Malak never would of betrayed Revan than neither of them would of been considered Sith. Just fallen Jedi.
And unpopular opinion, but Malak was a much better Sith Lord. Revan was too easily manipulated, and failed way to much. Malak converted Jedi to their Army, was the driving force in ground battles, and pushed the Star Forge farther than Revan ever could.
