I know you said in this video when using your scope you identify the signal coming from the fuel pump is being faulty. And that resulted in a full diagnosis to a replacement of the fuel pump. But would I not be correct in saying testing it from the fuse relay does not allow you to identify a wiring short potentially leading to the same problem
Hi I have "P1026" p0172 p0175 cayenne turbo 2011 Garage don't know what to do he said take it to the dealer it's starting but power is down for sure no check engine light and after driving for some time it will die after cooling down a bit it will work again any advice?
Dear EMD Porsche Specialist Caringbah Sydney , first of all, I am a fan of your work. Congratulations on it. I have a cayenne GTS 2008 that has been presenting the problem of turn off while I'm driving. The fact is that I have already changed the fuel pump once (about 2 years ago) and the problem was solved. However, the same problem has now returned. Would there be some way to solve this problem for good? I was wondering if you could give me some enlightenment. Cheers, Joao Paulo

First of all do you have a fault code
Logged in your engine computer.
are both fuel pump working? in cayenne s only under load the 2nd fuel pump will work
Yes only one runs at normal mode
Full throttle - both works & when the fuel tank is nearly empty LHS will come on to pump fuel to Main pump RHS.
Any misfire in the cylinders?
Any error codes?
Thanks
No misfire intermittent slow to start & hesitation (dead spot)

What was measuring the scope on the scanner? Current?
Looked like amps running through the fuse@@HETPEZB
