It's upsetting to know that I had the Great League ranked 2 Marowak back then but transferred it bc at the time, I was thinking that there's no way it'll ever become meta relevant due to it's typing and bad move pool. From now on, I'll always try to keep good ranking Pokemon just in case.
I always save everything with a good spread 😂 I hung onto the rank 1 shadow dusknoir for almost 3 years now. I have the rank 1 Golduck from the first year the game came out just waiting in case we ever get a Golduck meta 😅
I actually transferred away a good IV spread for Gastrodon that I caught during the Sinnoh Tour because I assumed it was never gonna be meta relevant 😅 It's all good though, there will be more opportunities to get them again.
My first shiny was a 15/5/0 Bunnelby which I levelled up for great league - it was terrible - I built the rank 4 recently on some advice from a video and it survives an extra hit or two, makes all the difference.
I am kinda excited, but not so much at the same time, cause I will have to spend a lot of startdust to build new mons, especially my rank 1 shadow Dusknoir, I got lucky and got the 0/15/15, I was going to transfer it back then, but I like ghost pokémon so I decided to keep it.
There is always the possibility that Megahorn could get a move update in the future, but I wouldn't worry about that too much. If you have a good IV spread, I would TM to get Earthquake and Stone Edge so that you can use it in this meta. You can always evolve another Paldean Wooper during December Community Day this year to get Megahorn.
@@LuckyBunz alright, thank you very much. I saw that segment but thought you were referring to lickitung that already had body slam (from the recent worlds event)
Sometimes, it just depends on how much interest there is. The Great League is the most popular of the three league formats because of its accessibility.

I did this with Clodsire too... dumped em all after Comm day since it was NOT very relevent at the time, lesson learned hahaha

love the vid can you make a vid about the top teams for GL
Crazy timing for this video! 🥰ty!
This is basically the same meta when I first started playing a couple of years ago… I could be wrong but it feels like it

I've been thinking of Running a team with Shadow Feraligatr and Clodsire. Tho i don't know about the final Pokemon to use...
Do you think it would be worth removing megahorn on clodsire for earthquake or stone edge?
Absolutely

great video
Do the ranks change overtime of the pokemons wise with ivs.
The one thing that hurts me so much is hearing legacy or com day move.
Hey! I'm just an hour north, up in Kern county and have a guzz to flip from research and a few from raids :) Maybe we could meet up and do that.
I got a rank 2 lickitung recently. Do you think it's still worth it to invest an elite TM into it?
No. If the meta changes and it becomes good again, then sure
(24:14) Yes, Lickitung is still worth building.
@@LuckyBunz alright, thank you very much. I saw that segment but thought you were referring to lickitung that already had body slam (from the recent worlds event)
what would be a good ranking threshold to decide whether to build it or not?
98% or better imo
For shadows, 95% or better
@@basedblueboy8770 I meant pvp ranking, like rank100
Anything within the Top 100 is usually pretty good.
@@LuckyBunz thank you!
Do you do meta videos on ultra League

@@LuckyBunz great league is my favorite but I get wrecked in the other leagues that why I asked
Off topic but do you know if Kyogre with surf is better than Primerina with hydro cannon?
Kyogre is better, but Primarina isn't that far off
yo bro, could you do a video on how to tell what rank your GBL Pokemon are please?
