Ah that's a shame. Yeah my first attempt to get the mimic in a legit run also failed, so I'm now building up the 2nd, and I'm planning to use Runestone of Emptiness to remove the bombs, the freezing field perk to put out fire, and specially prepared area to drain liquids like poly.
