    I’ve had this propane model since released. I keep it on a farmer’s porch, under cover, but outdoors with no dedicated cover. No rust anywhere! I’ve had Blackstones, and they are nice, but not even close to this. I scape it off while still hot and wipe with paper towels when it cools enough. Looks and cooks like brand new! Just buy it!

    My black stone started chipping. I’ve only had it for 1 years. I might of over seasoned it or something. I need a better alternative. Great video

    Hi, It says not to close the lid while the burners are on, I was wondering what would happen if I were to close the lid to melt some cheese on a burger or something. Just curious and thank you.

    I went to my Home Depot and they had the 30” in out on display. Only the left shelf folds down. The burners are single tubes aligned with the knobs. The propane tank is a simple hook. There is NO gauge to tell you how much propane you have left. Opening and closing the lid was okay. I think I would rather use domes instead of the lid for steaming. The bottom of the griddle has two doors that open and close. There are no holes behind the griddle for mice and other rodents to get in. The most disappointing thing was the temperature gauge. I don’t know what I was expecting but it isn’t what was delivered. It only measures the space UNDERNEATH the grill surface. NOT the grill surface itself.
    Oh and the grease tray. I don’t know if Home Depot messed up the installation but I could NOT remove it. I spent a good five minutes trying to do so crawling underneath, behind, removed the flat top, no success.
    Quite frankly, for the money they are charging for this version, it is not enough for me to buy one.

    0:45 Sheep follow the herd. High quality stainless steel is the way to go for griddles. How many cast iron griddles do u sèe in restaurants and diners? It will still require seasoning people. Who wants that kind of work cleaning and seasoning after you finish your meal? Ugh.

      Got me thinking 🤔

    • @AereForst
      @AereForst 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Yeah, show me a stainless steel griddle of the size typical for these outdoor models (36” x 20”) and one that can match cast iron in performance. Stay in the kitchen bro

    • @AereForst
      @AereForst 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      And by the way, you season once and then every time you cook it automatically re-seasons itself with the oil. every once in a while, when I’m done cooking, for good measure, I scrape off the griddle, drop on a couple of tablespoons of cooking oil, spread it around and let it smoke, which usually takes five minutes. That right there is all it takes to maintain a fantastic non-stick patina. You can’t do cast-iron or carbon steel indoor cooking in volume in your kitchen. You might be able to, but you’ll stink up the place. I have a big family. Whipping out beautiful steaks, burgers, fajitas, stir fried vegetables or over a dozen pancakes literally takes 10-15 minutes.

      @bwhitty6496 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@juanbagginsit’s so cheaply made. It’s one of those products where you think “wow they cut every corner they possibly could- and then some”. The material quality is far below a Spirit. Super uneven heating. Literally the flimsiest lid I’ve seen on an outdoor grill. End tables get so hot they become unusable.
      It was a total rip off and is a Weber in name only.
