Get rid of one kid, only to lose the other one. Classic bad parenting.
And losing the grandchild too lmao karma
That’s why karma is the best gift to give to parent like that lmao
And now they get to enjoy the alienation they inflicted on OP from the rest of the family.
Hey.at least they get to keep 50% of.theirninheritance, you know the one that doesnt talk, wont make them the same happiness with a human connection that a daughtet or a grand child could provide.
On the positive side, they are now child-free and can do their own thing, whatever that may be. Travel? Party all night?
Even getting just 50% of the intended inheritance was way more than they deserved. If I were the grandparents, I would've changed the will again behind their backs so they'd get a dollar each.
Plot twist: they changed their will so the parents would only be getting two dollars each before making the ultimatum.
They more than likely signed some form of contract. So it wouldn't hold up in court if they did.
I imagine they realized the parents would have held their son hostage if they weren't getting inheritance and the grandparents seem to care more about him then the money so this was the easiest route
If I was the grandparents I would change the will they only get 10 dollars and op gets the money.
@@G1sandG1rlsGaming Going to be funny when they find out that 95% of the grandparents' wealth was in a trust and that the kind of contract you come up with in a week's notice isn't comprehensive enough to invalidate it.
The grandparents parents are clearly honorable people and going back against their word isn't honorable and it's clearly working out for them
4 bedrooms? One for the parents one for the sister and boyfriend one for OP and one for the baby they have enough they just wanted an excuse to kick out OP
They had a nursery planned for the 4th room. Essentially another playground to store toys and run around etc.... so the baby had 2 rooms. Talk about excessive
@@Jiten-pm5lz crazy
Good face the consequences. U don't need ur inheritance if u can't show love towards a life u created
Immediately after they sent me texts wishing they never had me, I would have posted those as well.
That's what I was saying, like immediately screenshot and post.
That’s also what I was thinking, it’d just be more proof for whoever was skeptical
Those parents can keep digging that grave of theirs
that is a very good way to make them understand the situation better. once those are posted, is even more heat coming their way. what do they do then? send more hate? is only going to also get posted and the situation is going to escalete even more and more
Indeed. If I were on OP's shoes, I would definitely raise hell because I have nothing to lose at this point.
You know the parents fucked up when even the favoured child has the decency to do stuff against them.
Sometimes if the favorite child is fundamentally decent, you can scrape off the spoiled surface and reach the good part. Like buffing rust off iron
She’s insanely good despite the fact that she was favored and could be spoiled if parents didnt pick favorites and were good she’d have been more good
This might come as a shock, but some favoritism really rubs the favored child the wrong way. Some favoritism is also perfectly well justified within the context of the individuals and environments in question.
Yeah
Here’s a crazy thought. If you DONT want everyone to know what an awful parent you are, maybe don’t kick your 16 year old daughter out ON HER FREAKING BIRTHDAY…
Naw Op did nothing wrong, but what i find hilarious, is that the DNA donors obviously KNOW what they did was awful, because they lied to the Aunt about what they were doing.
Lol karma at its finest here.
Loved the "DNA donors" line.
Ironically they did end up giving her the best birthday gift she could hope for, even if none of them realized it at the time.
Lol yep I'm shocked at how stupid and short sighted some folks are
And to go one further, Don't send threatening texts to someone that has already outed your garbage behavior. The idiot parents are as brainless as they are neglecful.
@@noneedtoknow07Was gonna say that. Lol
People questioning why a 16 didn't leave earlier. Because OP is a 16 year old kid that's why. Its not OPs fault.
OP should show the grandparents the text where her parents said they wish she was never born. Not to spite the parents, but to let the grandparents know exactly what kind of people they are.
"Boohoo! We treated you like you were invisible at best, and now everyone knows, and our lives are going badly! Waaahhh pitty us."
^ that's my impression of OP's parents.
It kinda sucks that OP never even got a reason why they were treating her in that way.
Thank god the sister didn’t pick up on her parents bad behaviour. she knows her parents are terrible people.
indeed. Normally they would be spoild or anything but she at least is the normal one
“They never complained so I just assumed that they were fine with it…”
The abuser’s way of thinking…
Abuser and enabler. If you think something isn't right, and the victim isn't complaining, you should do something. Not reacting is a sign that it's gone on for way to long.
As a survivor of child abuse you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about or what it is like to be groomed to accept unacceptable behaviour. If you see life in black and white like that. You aren’t much better than the older sister you judge so much.
“I know fuck all” fixed you comment for you babes, you’re welcome
Oh FFs, I was also abused, ok…?
You don’t have the monopoly on being abused and knowing how it is or how to deal with it.
Your way and your POV are not the only ones…
And anyway, you both missed the point spectacularly:
I was talking about the way abusers see things and the lame f… excuses they offer…
🤦🏻♂️
Were commenters really asking why a 16 year old hadn't already moved out of their parents' house? Lol get real
I mean... aunt and grandpa would have probably been very happy to house OP a few years before that...
Stuff like emotional abuse isn't that easy to shake off
Not everyone is American Kyle
They committed social suicide and then acted shocked at the results.
I always find it funny how these bad parent lack the foresight in that if they do something really bad to their child, their parent will cut them off from the inheritances? Like do they expect the grandparent to hate/ not be on their grandkid side or expect the grandparent to be just as bad as they are?
Generally because bad people don’t see that they are bad people.
Damn bud you did the right thing your parents don’t want you it’s best you stay tf away from your parents
Darling, please ask your Aunt to help you find a therapist. I am so sorry that your parents failed you so epically. Their behaviour is nothing less than completely unacceptable and whatever comes back to bite them in the arse is totally deserved. Bless
I Agree 🙁
I feel so bad for OP, he's essentially been neglected his whole life - that's gotta mess anybody up.
OP is a female 🤨
@@morganablackwater2017OP has been promoted to an honorary man. Now stfu >:|
op is a girl
@@morganablackwater2017no it’s a male
@@ixhobi In 0:08, it says "16F" (16 is the age, F is for female. For males, they insert "M" instead of "F" after the age)
Honestly, it was probably best for the grandkid that older sister moved out too.
Based on testimony of OP and the aunt, and the texts from the parents to OP, you could make the argument that the parents surrendered their right to custody even without signing anything. Then the parents pull that shit at OP's school, which also looks bad. I don't imagine any court would take OP from the aunt and send them back to the parents.
At the very least 2.2 thousand people know about this, if this blows up, i imagine how upset her parents would be
33k now😂😂😂
i'm very sure this is a old reddit story
I find it sorta comforting that as the story goes on, you can see her sadness and depression disappearing.
Like in the end she makes fun of her parent's greediness
I am just suprised that the golden child isnt a a totaly piece of garbage
Some aren't. Mine wasn't when I was being abused, and he didn't do much because he witnessed it growing up. He's my baby brother and I'd rather take a beating so he never had to. He was the favorite for not being neurodivergent. But he was honestly the nicest person in that home, my only safety net at times. My DNA donors actually hated when my brother and I got along because it meant I was happy. I haven't gotten to speak to my brother in almost 2 years because I went full NC with the DNA donors, and he unfortunately lives with them and takes their word as gospel at times... Not all golden kids are shit, but most are because they have an ego
@@itsjustfluffy69420hope the contact with your brother will improve again after he moved out
Evil parents are giving a boyfriend a place to live at the expense of their underage daughter.
The coldness and cruelty are shocking.
😂😂and that was also forcefully cuz sister wants to move out 😂😂😂 so they are telling a grown man having own apartment to move in with them cuz they can't loose there daughter 😂
I’m just happy the sister wasn’t one of those crazy ones like yeah she wasn’t a good sister necessarily but at least she just wasn’t fucking nuts like that one sister from this channel that tried to walk down the aisle of op’s wedding, and op’s fiancé lied to her about letting her do it as a prank
Too bad she didn't show her grandparents the emails... They probably would have realized that hiring a lawyer to force them to no longer have parental rights, to pay child support, and to cease and desist with the harassment... Would have been a better way to spend said half of inheritance than to give the bio parents anything. It would have been good to file a charges for child abuse as well, that email was gold for justice if they had used it right.
I always wish i'd teleport in whenever some asshat says "You didn't have to tell everyone i abused you for years, everyone now hates me because you told" and i'd scream into their face " If you didn't want to be perceived as an abuser, why did you abuse!!?" or " No, they don't hate you because they exposed you, they hate you because they now know who you really are"
Stories like this are why I'm so glad my parents never played favorites with me and my siblings. How do I know this for sure? I'm the autistic kid, if they played favorites it wouldn't have been me 😂
Funny the parents want the post about their shameful doings taken down due to embarrassment. "Kill the messenger" and all that. How about not doing those shameful things in the first place?
What's that quote... "If it can be destroyed by the truth, it deserves to be destroyed by the truth"?
I feel like that was from a Neil Breen movie 😆
"Don't attempt to destroy me with lies when I can destroy you with the truth."
Yeah, I remember this one. I thought maybe another update. but naw.
Thanks
Abusers always just get mad when you tell others the things they've said or done
Be glad you're out. Otherwise, you'd be a free babysitter until you moved out on your own. It's a shame you didn't record that convo.
Hey op… if i were you… never invite them in your graduation, weeding or any special events in your life…
I feel so sorry for the OP. I can't believe that there are parents like her's in this world. What awful, awful, people!
I would recommend for OP to go low contact with his sis. She clearly doesn't feel any real remorse (She assumed that the neglect wass ok) and doesn't want to be included in the drama.
Also, he should update the post with all the parents' texts.
genius. the sister literally began with an apology, went on to cut out her parents and ended with siding with her sister. what are you even watching
I find it so creepy that the parents favored the sister so much that they wanted her to stay with them and kick out a 16 year old.
I do love a story where the golden child is genuinely a decent person and, while complicit, is willing to make amends with OP. Gives me hope.
Well, you reap what you sow.
Marry the unwed baby daddy and live in his apartment. Wedding shower, THEN Baby shower.
You see, I’m petty. I would have posted what the parents said to me immediately and then “disappeared” for a few days
If the truth can ruin their reputation, then their reputation deserves to be ruined.
How one stupid rushed decision can literally cost you a fortune
OP’s parents: (*kick out their daughter on her birthday to make room for her sister’s bf*)
OP: (*calls them out on their bullshit*)
Also OP’s parents: WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS?!
Self awareness at its finest! 😂
Honestly, the fact that they clearly wanted their favorite child to stay with them and even move her boyfriend into the house instead of just letting her move into her boyfriend's place feels kinda infantalizing. I guess they just wanted their golden child to stay with them forever and it backfired in their faces.
I'm sorry, OP, but the six-year age gap between you and your sister isn't the reason why you're so distant from each other. My mom and her late sister had eight years between them, and my aunt was much more like a second mom to me, and her recent passing gutted us both.
Yeah, my brother and I have a 9 year gap. We're close, send memes to each other and play videogames together. The age difference has nothing to do with the relationship between siblings.
Oof.. Sorry for the grandparents.. That's gotta hurt.. Seeing your own child being COMPLETELY USELESS and also picking money over their own child. Especially when they were well off anyway. That's fucking pathetic.
wouldn't be surprised if the remaining 50% of that inheritance went to op.
Clearly still has some bitterness towards his sister. She was also a child when this weird status quo happened and she apologized for all she should actually be sorry for. In no way was she ever a bad person like OP says.
The golden child had a redemption arc in this one. You love to see it
It is always the Aunt that’s the good guy in the story
I can’t believe they wanted to give the boyfriend his own room over their daughter when he could have stayed in the room with his GF. Especially since he still has an apartment. Truly awful parents.
THIS IS CRAZY!
Happy ending, the villains lost all of their kids and grandkids.
Poor kid
Why the parents want the sister to even live with them anyway if she was gonna live with her boyfriend? Are they just baby crazy?
Grandchild is do over baby
Its a sad reality that parents like this exist. But its also good to know that sometimes these people have relatives who treat them better than their parents do.
Her grandparents: "they're not gonna bother you anymore"
My brain: "okay so they're rich... Wtf does that mean?"
I silented my phone and just see THE minecraft parkour
The gall of the father to complain he was getting ostracised by family when OP had been ostracised their whole life
If they didn't act like complete pieces of sh**, then Co workers wouldn't think they were complete pieces of sh**. Act the way you want others to see you. Simple
Reminds me when my homie's sister was obssesed with inheritance so, his mom gave everything to him cause the sister only cared about money
Wow imagine not loving your child
Does nobody think about what the end goal is anymore?? Ah yes let’s just lie to everyone and hope they don’t question it or talk to anyone. This has only 1 potential outcome provided that somebody other than them has a modicum of decency. This was entirely reliant on the aunt being oblivious or uncaring, the sister just not asking any questions about where OP had gone, and even if they did tell her, did they expect her to just say okay and move on?? Oh and that sister would even be willing to move everything in that house anyway. Like this was so poorly thought out its genuinely baffling
Hey ,dad..karma's a bitch ain't it.
I actually got rather emotional listening to this because this is somewhat similar to the shit that happened to me when I was still 17.
d a m n that’s crazy
Parents really fucked up there I hope she is feeling better now
Those relatives that were on OP’s side are W. Best relatives to ever have.
parents cared more about the money than the OP. I figured that was the reason they contacted OP after everything happened
Trust me, my parents used to fight and argue all the time when I was like six or five years old
W aunt and W grandparents
thanks for putting the whole story in one video. get so sick of seeing these broken up into small snippets for no reason
NTA. You have sh!t for parents. Good thing you have amazing grandparents and an awesome auntie.
The grandparents are the AH. The inheritance threat just put OP back on the parents' radar.
It’s their money and they can do with it what they wish. 16 is old enough to emancipate themselves from their parents so this can end quickly. But it’s not unexpected for a grandparent to set expectations for their adult children.
I do see your side of this argument, but it has less impact when they already considered OP as nothing but a burden. Now it's the same, but for different rea$on$.
why? they didnt know that OP's relationship with her parents was that bad since they live far away and parents acted like theyre nice to op whenver its family get together, in their eyes, the parents chose sister over op cause she was pregnant, but wanted them to take OP back since she is also their child that needs a roof.
But once OP told them she didnt want to go back and how neglectful they were, they supported her, and even helped the aunt get OP's custody.
Ohh you're one of the parents right
This was my life but worse I actually got treated like crap , Then my family wonders why I don’t like going to “family” gatherings or even speaking to anybody anymore
Honestly, shame on the grandparents for giving rhem even half of what they wouldve gotten. I could never. Thats a horrible and cruel thing to do to your child on top of treating them badly your whole life. Hell nah.
The OP should call her aunt mom due to her being her only motherly figure
I guarantee that ops parents will want to talk to op once he's getting married or when he's having kids, they'll try to pretend like nothing happened.
Op is a FEMALE ffs
She op is female
i would of posted screenshots of the hateful messages from the parents to drive it home even more
NTA- They had it all comin 2 em, n the sister no better. She knew he wasn't bein treated fairly n she didn't do a thing 2 change it or stop their parents behaviour. While she has apologised it's a long road 2 all is 4gotten n 4given
Lol... can't legally kick a kid out before 18 if it's the states. Most of them anyways. Also, newborns, at least in my family, live in the room with mom and dad.
She must be the so called "Unplanned" and her mother might have suffered severely during the birth thats why they were doing this.
Look everyone, this is the ancient times to till now reasoning of neglectful parents...Even my father hated me like this even though I am the only child saying he and his side hates me because "I am a girl"...IDK why they hate me just for that...
Bro's best gift was getting kicked out
well the OP did say the sister didn't treat them as such
You simply screenshot the texts saying they wish op so wasn't born, then post that. Make it clear that no matter what, parents get no money from grandparents
They should've just changed his inheritance to a couch
isn't kicking someone out before they're a legal adult (18 and over) illegal?
Since they sent her to the Aunt home and are providing child support, probably not
10:28 honestly that's freaking heartbreaking.
The parents are such horrible people and they don't deserve to have kids
If 16 is old enough to move out so is 22. This is disgusting
I have a really good buddy that when we were 14 his family moved a few hours away for a new job and while down there his step dad and mom split and then his mom got on drugs with a drug addict. She eventually kicked him out and he had to couch surf until one of his buddies up there, that he met at school, convinced his parents to let him move in. So he did that until he left for the army at 18. He’s doing good now though. Married. Living a few states away. Has his own house and ranked up multiple times in the army.
I feel bad. I can sympathize. I am the oldest but the black sheep of the family. I am the only one that doesn't comply with their norms.
5:16 I would’ve screen shotted those and say idc and post it
That can't be legal.
Does anyone have the link to the original reddit post or the name of the original post?
They should pay for their actions and go to hell for what they have done to him and if you guys can't see that then you guys are delusional and they don't deserve anything for neglecting him.
Why does this vaguely similar to Matilda 😂
I m only here for the mincraft.
I always turn of the sound and play "Project Lee" by DJ Settler on my stereo.
If this were to happen to me I would be in Mexico
I bet the rest of the inheritance is going to op
