Incredible truck !!!! I drove 2020 Limited and couldn't believe how this damn truck rides. I forgot I was in a pick up truck. Dodge nailed it GOOD !! Thank you for a nice review.

Great review sir I have a 2022 myself. There were several features that the dealer didn’t show me and I had to watch manufacturers videos in order to learn. One feature in particular that blew my mind. Is the rear seats recline. They actually have 3 setting including the upright position.
My dad always insists we take his truck when I visit him in Detroit (a 2016 RAM 1500 5.7 L V8). It's always a joy getting to be his chauffeur because of how nice that 5.7 Liter sounds getting up to speed for highway merging. Currently saving up for one myself. Definitely going for the 6.2 😏

Thanx for the thorough review. I watched TFL (Roman/Nathan) who is a superb truk guy n who secretly adores the RAM 1500 BUT cannot say it. I have the Limited and did not know the gear selector was dummy proof. This is super important to know. I can attest that the gear selector +/_ is not dummy proof as I found out the hard way.

TRX is an absolute beast. Had one as my work truck at my last job for like 6ish months and 7/8k miles. Loved it. Just was hard to park in parking garages 😂

I wish there was a setting on the ram to auto lower to park mode when parking the car. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has this and it’s a nice feature

No, I don’t believe so. Which is a HUGE miss by Ram IMO. But it doesn’t matter really bc Ford has removed massaging seats from their Platinum and Limited trims due to the “chip shortage”. But eventually I definitely think Ram NEEDS to add massaging seats
Just got a lightly driven 23 Limited demo and love it so far. Shopping for a Ram now has finally turned back into more of a buyers market with rebates and pretty aggressive dealer discounts as well.

Nice catch with the dual exhaust setup for the F150 Black Appearance package. Ford also offers it in the Tremor, Raptor(of course), and I think the Limited Edition. I have a 2023 XLT with the Black package; full leather also. It's great, but I gotta admit, RAM makes a beautiful truck. I also love the Hemi rumble. You can also get sport/dual exhaust in the Black package with the Ecoboost. That's what I have(3.5). I know it's a V6, but it actually has a really aggressive growl to it that's not piped in like in higher trims. More like a European boosted sports car instead of a big American V8. I was actually surprised at how good it sounds at startup and acceleration.
Consumer Reports, Motor Trend, and Car & Driver all state the RAM 1500 is the best 1/2 pickup. I got the limited and love it. The RAM's ride and handling are superior when compared to the others on twisty roads with uneven surfaces. RAM quality has dramatically improved, as noted by CR. However, resale values are still higher with the Toyota, Tondra, which was my second choice. Lastly, RAM is now aggressively pricing its trucks due to slower sales.

If you get the Ram Box on the bed, there will not be a canopy that will fit. Checked most makers of canopies and can up empty. If you know of one, please reply. Great video thanks!

As you were driving, what are the blinking lights on the sides of the intrument panel?
That's just due to the frame rate of the camera.. It doesn't do that in person
Limited Rams lower year models had real wood on steering wheel and throughout cabin. i see that FCA screwed up a few things in their equipment groups
Honestly I‘m happy that they removed the wood, just didn’t really look good with the truck.

I just had two mechanics who repair rams all the time tell me not to get the ram. They told me they see too many and make to many repairs which is also why they dont drive anything that has to do with ram. My father had one and it had nothing but problems so he also said he will never get another one.
The look of it looks reliable but is the engine really reliable. I believe the mechanics and my father.
Reliability means more than nice looks.

Just remember, you cannot get some of the standalone options like the 33 gallon fuel tank, the cargo divider, the ram boxes or the multi function tailgate unless you upgrade to one of the pricey luxury packages, which I think is stupid

That is just the refresh rate of the camera picking that up. It doesn't do that in person

Wrong - I do expect to go off road and I have a nice little marsh near my 20 degree back yard hill. I don't want to spend the $$ for a TRX or take the mpg hit. But after street tires wear out I'm getting AT or more off road tires.
It seems like ram went cheap on door handles. It used to be chrome so I don't why they changed it

What sucks is that I really don’t want the H/K sound system, but in order to have safety features, I’m bullied into getting that system
(Since people apparently can’t read the comments and call me “cheap” or “lazy” because I don’t want this system, let me make it _ABUNDANTLY_ clear that I was planning to REPLACE the Alpine speakers with far better ones from someone like Focal)
What a cheap comment: (most truk guys are not audiophiles) HOWEVER; the RAM - Harmon Kardon beats the Ford system any day of the week, although Alpine is pretty good. The thundra has the cheap sony/lg one i believe.
@@dol3980 I don’t know how me not wanting the H/K system is cheap. It’s preference and I’d rather have the Alpine system so I can mod it easier. Also means I don’t have to unplug/disable all the roof speakers and whatnot
@@feraltrafficcone4483 I do not want to get into my personal preference or audio engineering design bio. Why the hell do 80 + % of Eng ineers of all stripes buy the RAM 1500 Limited?? I can respect U r an audiophile but I will let RAM Engineers decide the placement and bass/treble parameters and gain functions for my speakers including when the moonroof is sheltered or not. It took me 6 years of STEM U to become a nuclear physicist and I still struggle with the basics of audio engineering but can solve gamma radiation patterns.

This has ALWAYS BEEN MY ISSUE WITH THE DODGE RAM 1500 !! IT JUST DOESNT HAVE THE POWER THAT THE 6.2L and the amazing 10speed …! If you’ve ever felt how the Denali acceleration and how it shifts…then you’d laugh at ALL THE OTHERS… that’s NO EXAGGERATION…😊

RAM just for me dropped into the dumpster. Putting tomtom as the nav software, and ramcare/uconnect doing NOTHING to get rid of them!!! Angry? You bet I am. If you expect the 2023 NAV with tomtom to work- take this warning and flat leave the RAM dealer. The dealer can't fix the problems, uconnect nor ram care will. They say there will be an update- and they have no idea what they're talking aboit as an update does not come. And I read in mu package the update for tomtom lasts 3 months after you buy. RUN AWAY before you buy a worthless NAV system. My 2017 and 2018 RAMs NAV were great.
Wow, sorry you’re having so many difficulties with the TomTom navigation software. I’ve been blessed so far and haven’t had any problems since purchasing my 2024 Limited with the level one & 27M packages. The nav has performed well even provided an alternate route around a wreck on the interstate near Georgia. I pray it works out for you. Regards

I got a limited once’s you put weigh on the payload air suspension light 💡 turn on i put 10 cases of water light turn. I took it to the dealership and they told me i cant put no more than 700 lbs. I was really i told them it was bs. A month ago one of my air bag went out and they didnt want to replace because it was something i did by putting to much weight. Iam thinking to trade it in
10 cases of water made the light come on?? What kind of cases of water were they??

With the interior, air ride, 5.7 V8 you can actually hear stock, optional 6.2 hellcat engine w/trx, different front fascia & headlights w/limited longhorn, limited, and trx models, etc. don’t get me wrong I like Chevy, Ford, and GMC, but they didn’t step up their trucks until after 2019 when Ram updated their 1500’s
