Ah the iconic beautiful Siemens Nexas Train 👍 One of my childhood favorite trains(With the Comeng being the other one of my favorite trains on the network). Used to see these a lot when I went to North Melbourne with my family to watch trains (when we lived there from 2001-2006). Sure is a shame they don't run on the Clifton Hill group 😢 (I live along the Mernda line now, close to South Morang station - I would kill to see a Siemens train running here (Put a request to PTV to consider this - have Siemens trains running on the Clifton Hill group. Yes I am well aware that there will need to be modifications made to make this work successfully), the Craigieburn line is a bit further with the Roxburgh Park station being the closest one to me - I don't use this line often). Keep up the good work mate @StrayaTrains 💪👍
Nice video. I was on my way to the city on a HCMT when i noticed this passing me as i was almost at Springvale even though i was looking at anytrip. Keep up the good work on the videos 👍
Yup all ticked off for every current metro trains to east pakenham station. And interesting that the PID just show Pakenham in all white and no line map. No announcement is kinda sad tho unlike the stage 3 comeng that ran to East Pakenham before.
Time to film and ride an EDI to East Pakenham.
That would be nice
It was great to see and ride it on the day. Bit disappointed it didn’t have the announcements though.

1:37 line generalisations & stereotypes video nostalgia
Please, I must know the secret. With only 8 months to go, time runs short. I will not rest until you teach me!!!! xD
No secret. Just got to go out and and about!
I love the Siemens train!
omg my teacher’s favourite Siemens set (817M-2559T-818M) is here
There you go!
Prob won't see that once the tunnel opens
When is the Frankston line going to get a new train?
In about 2 or 3 years time because the X'Trap 2.0 is replacing the Comengs soon
In a few years
I thought Siemens can’t display City Loop anymore?
@@P3ncakes northern group
Northern group
@ oh cuz of Flinders St via City Loop

How is this possible?
@strayatrains and my comment is true when the comeng went to EP
