I love how they keep getting surprise grabbed by things that they can see coming long before it happens. Like the guy that inches around the doorframe looking down the hallway, and then five seconds later he gets yanked into the hallway by something he's been staring at the entire time. Oh, I forgot, we the audience can't see it, therefore the characters can't see it either. :V
So this movie basically has all the somewhat likable characters die and the biggest bitch of a character lives. Fuck this movie. Also all four of you are adorable and made this review even more hilarious with all the difference scenes.

The racist old guy was racist to Vietnamese because he fought in the First Indochina War. Maybe the subtitles showed their own form of ignorance by not knowing Chinese and Vietnamese are two different nations?
Fantastic, very fun, very funny review! Awesome Sauce. I loved the goofy Mortal Komedy music in the background. I loved all the funny shots where you three would pop out in random places constantly that was pretty awesome

I'm so sick of zombie movies where no one seems to know what zombies are. We all know what zombies are, after an initial period of shock that they're actually a reality have the characters freaking do the obvious, aim for the head (or dismember them so they can't grab or bite) and act on the knowledge everyone has from having seen zombies a thousand times.
I know right? At least The Walking Dead series is set in the universe where the thought of a zombie never existed, except for the throwaway line of Glenn mentioning Portal.
Actually...I'd love to see someone make a horror movie where the characters recognize the monsters as zombies and try aiming for the head, decapitation, fire, etc. But nothing works. Maybe the monsters are zombies, maybe not. Either way, the main characters are dead-set (haha) on what _should_ work, so they die via genre awareness.
This movie could have been a guilty pleasure film, but that lead woman was insufferable. They could've wrote her in a way that was just as strong and independent but with a not so "IDGAF" mentality.
The only way they write female characters is to be a bitch and everyone is so desperate to show they aren't sexist they call her strong and independent. Repeating that mantra like mindless drones but oddly never ever saying it about any male character. I bet you've never called for a strong independent male character.

Even with so many zombies and the phrase “So many enemies you don’t need to aim” that only applies to people because, well organs. Zombies can’t really be carte blanche shot because of aiming unless you have a super strong gun of some sort or use a billion rounds to basically cut them to pieces. So the headshot cheat applies pretty well.

let's be honest though, that scene where Mr Mustache is eaten by that horde is one of the best zombie shot ever. It's like the only good thing in this film
In their defence, I would consider clearing out each floor to be the safer option rather than running all the way down. While it would slow you down, if there was a swarm of zombies on the ground floor that you needed to retreat from you wouldn't need to worry about getting attacked from behind, you would have a rough idea on the layout of the building so that you won't trap yourself when you're reatreating and you can pick up more survivors to help you in you're escape.
As they shoot the first zombie, they also have no regards that some bullets are hitting their ally the creature bit a chunk out of. What pricks tsk tsk tsk

Ok, I know Dead Space technically has dismemberment, but zombies are so brain related, you’d think brains would be the first to try. Yes humans aim for torso for organs like military, but they still at least somewhat train for head shots in training.
