I just received the humble lamb Bible bag. I saw Tim’s Review. That is an amazing Bible bag. I am surprised that it does not cost more than it does because the leather feels just like one of my premium Bibles. I really don’t like Bible covers and the bag is perfect. Best wishes from Texas.
I originally stumbled onto Humble Lamb through your review. I just received my Fox Orange HIStory Bible with the art-gilt. It is by far my favorite Bible already. Plus Gustave Doré's illustrations are beautiful. Humble Lamb did an amazing job and I hope to get the other translations in time! Love your Videos Tim! God bless and much love!

Really loving this format, it is beautiful to look at from what you show in this video and the other in depth video. Very different from the more traditional prints which i find more pleasing and wanting to open the bible and read it. 😊

This is my second time seeing a review of this bag. I love it and would purchase it immediately if it had an outside conceal carry/ privacy pocket. I wish a company would make something like that because I hate having to carry a Bible bag and my purse to church. This bag is so beautiful!

I love how excited you get, Tim, with something new! I am the same. It is a messenger unisex bag. It is really nice. I'd have one! That's one chunky bible. The drop caps look too large for the page rendering them clunky to my eye. Also, HL may use Dore illustrations but they are all cropped. I had a red HL once and know this by having a bible with all the full images, to know the difference.
Wow Tim, I was on the fence about the bag for weeks now, but you just sold me on that..going to buy it right now! Humble Lamb is a class act. I love my bibles from them! ❤ This was a great opening “partial review”!

Tim Nickels did a review of the bag, and some pointed out the elephant in the room about it. I can't say that I disagree with those thoughts. Maybe my wife wouldl like it.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews I totally agree. I wouldn't mind having that case, or one like that, but I already have one. It's black and has the Books of the Bible written on it, and it has two large compartments. One I use for my Bible and the other I use for my Sunday School book, and two smaller compartments that I use for pens and other stuff.

Would love to try out the NASB translation
I've been really really wanting to get a copy of this, but really can't justify the $$ at the moment. HOWEVER, my Beloved Brilliant and Darling Daughter gave me a plan: my birthday is in November, so she suggested I get myself a "BirthMas" present ;-)
Now the Humble Armor looks nice, but it's just too big for my personal preference. If Humble Lamb eventually makes something pretty much the same but about half to 2/3 the size...? And with a few more pen pockets? I'm all in ;-) LOLOL

I love the concept of NASB HIStory. I am hoping their 2nd edition is just a little larger in the FONT size. I own an edge line KJV from them in that same sahara blue with tan liner. That print is good but almost to small. 69 year old eyes makes it a little difficult to see. Maybe, with God's help, my scheduled cataract surgery will remedy the problem.👁👓😵💫

I wish they made a thin line instead of everything being so thick. I contacted them about it and they said they had no plans to do one.
Looks really nice. I don't think I like how some of the words drops into the middle. It would have been nice if they would have made it a bit wider to accommodate that, but a beautiful bible.

I just received mine today! Absolutely stunning Bible! I have to ask, though, whether anyone else received duplications of the last three Gustave Dore illustrations in Revelation? I'm hoping it's just a missprint on my particular copy and not everyone's.
To clarify, the last two photos are the same as the "Babylon Fallen" image, and do not include "The Last Judgement" and "The New Jerusalem."

I received mine on Wednesday, and after an hour of slowly paging through Genesis, I began flipping sections and...
In Deuteronomy, two pages were badly stuck together in the very center by some small sticky industrial matter/adhesive debris (it’s not round like a drip of glue). These cannot be separated without destroying each other.
Then I noticed on the copyright page, at the bottom left corner it says “New King James Version” or “King James Version”?!
Should that even Be there?
To top it off, it was that night after emails with Humble Lamb (w/good pics) that I learned of the duplicate illustrations in Revelation...
(which I mentioned to them as well)
That’s what 1st Printings are for I suppose, right?

They are going to allow me a replacement, but what about the 2nd Printing? Anyone know when that run will begin and if they will allow us to get one as replacements instead under their “Lifetime Warranty”?

@@mykstericeferg1258 Yeah, I get that these are first editions, but these are some pretty big blunders for a $220 Bible. I just think HL should make buyers aware on their webpage. I would have waited for the 2nd edition had I know of these errors.
Tim, is there a version with 9.5 to 10 point font? I am looking for a NASB 2020 Bible with blue text of Jesus and font size greater than 8.5. Thanks.
It says on their site the 12.9 iPad would fit in the bag. Would a regular 13” MacBook Air squeeze into that larger compartment?
Please look 👀 into Frank Logsdon who co-wrote the NASB ! After realizing there was some things very wrong in this bible,he looked at the KJV and rest is history!😊

I’ve had this Bible for a month. It was an early Christmas present. Here are a few of the issues. Gold page edges rubbing off already. And the blue on the spine is starting to rub off or flake. This bible cost over 200.00 and has more issues than a 25-50 bible being carried around and read every day. Definitely makes it not worth that price. I sent pictures to them, they said they would send a label to return and would send a new one when received. I read my Bible twice a day, and to not have it for two weeks or more is beyond frustrating. Add to that that they didn’t send the label. So I’ve reached out asking for it. Still have not heard back. Now I don’t even want a replacement because the experience of this bible is so bad. And I unfortunately believe that the replacement would most likely have the same issues after a month or two. Do yourselves a favor if you still plan to get this. Get the color tented page edges (probably less likely to rub off after a month.)
I want the lion, but also want the single column. Hmmm. Do you like single or double?
I like SC in general... but the Lion is a GREAT Bible, too.
Are the words of Christ the same color blue in all of the Humble Lamb Bibles? I just purchased my first Humble Lamb Bible and the words of Christ are a blue/purple color. It's a little bit darker than pictured. 😊
This one is a little deeper/darker than the previous ones I’ve seen.
How much thinner would it be without the illustrations?

Make it a '95 and increase the size to the same as their other bibles and I'm in....not a fan of the size/thickness.
I like it but I will never own one due to the images of God Jesus. Maybe I am going too far but Exodus 20:4-6.
