A few years ago TH-cam had no videos on Nissan titans. You were the first to start making them. You saved me a couple of times with your knowledge. Thank you for your great videos, brother. 💪🇺🇲👍
Perfect fix for my 04 Armada that was having intermittent brake issues where my dash brake light would come on, I would lose braking w/ my foot going to the floor, followed by a terrible rattling noise (almost crashed my whole family, towing my travel trailer last summer). I could reset it by turning my truck off and then on again, but it was just too risky to continue driving that way. BTW - the Nissan service center knew exactly what I was talking about, even before I finished my sentence and told me it for sure was the brake booster causing the issue. They quoted me $900+, but thanks to this video, I not only saved hundreds, it also saved me lots of time by showing how to replace w/o taking the cowling off like other videos show. You rock and thanks again for this great DIY vid!
Thank You for the video. I was looking at how to tackle this job and was right in line with your procedure, The one thought I had that differed was draining the refrigerant and simply removing the A/C line. Good to know that I don't need to. Again, thank you for the video. Much Appreciated!!!
Had my master cylinder changed 04 Nissan Titan , garage put after market one on, all 4 brakes locked up, I changed booster, still locking up nightmare, finally figured it out , adjusted booster push rod so it doesn’t put pressure on master cylinder , brakes freed up , so pretty sure I didn’t need new brake booster just needed to adjust push rod, because master cylinder was an after market part ….
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this videos and sharing them with us you’re the only mechanic on TH-cam that does Nissan titan videos with so much knowledge very well explained I just did this job today on my 08 titan LE I really appreciate your hard work I’ll keep on Liking your videos 👍
Did this today. Thanks for the tips! Took me about 2 hours total. Needed some extra hands with help moving stuff while removing the booster. Also my AC has been discharged for months so I removed that pinch bolt which freed up that ac line more. Thanks again!
Thanks for the great SIMPLIFIED method!! all others are showing a nightmare approach. 2004 Original Owner. I've lived with this problem for years. Now about to do the job because of this video. Thanks again.
Awesome job explaining and I found that telling what tools to use was great. I didn't need to keep searching for the right tools. Thank you. This video made what for me would have been an all day job into a few hours and relived a lot of stress.
Thank you so much again, I bought the brake booster at auto zone, cost $150 lifetime warranty, the problem has been fixed, the slip /brake light on dashboard are off now 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 you save me $1,000
Thanks I’m sure I’ll think of something! Do you trust the remanufactured brake booster? It’s so much cheaper on the links you listed that I’m really tempted to go that route over oem. Especially with the reviews rating it so high.
Is there any sort of testing you need to do prior to driving? Also, would the remanufactured booster have the same issue that the old booster had that has plagued owners of these trucks? From what I've seen about the class action lawsuit the delta sensor on them is bad and they fail frequently. Didn't know if the remanufactured booster still carries that bad sensor or if it's replaced during the rebuild process and the is fixed or if you should just buy a new OEM booster with a new sensor.
I just got one in. It hisses like crazy under the dash. When you press the brakes...So I have to replace it. it was nice that someone broke off all the brake bleeder valves on the calipers.
@@AaronHinesAuto ok. I am going to replace the booster tomorrow and see if my local shop will clear any codes. Thanks for the video, it looks like a much easier repair with the help from the video. I've got a 2006 Armada so it should be quick and easy.

Oh, yeah, a quick tip! I spray the pigtail connectors with soapy water or window cleaner to help loosen the dirt particles! It help immensely!

Good video, finally someone with a video you actually can see. Thanks
Very informative and great video and mechanic thanks!
Great video - my 2004 is experiencing the same problem and after reviewing the video, replacing doesn't look all that bad. Thanks!!!
Awesome Video, Thank you for sharing. I had this work done on my Armada at dealership years ago.

I know old video but I'm having my parking brake light come on intermittent and the abs kicking in but no codes is it still the booster?
Yes! I was waiting for this video!
Awesome! If you have any suggestions I’m all ears!

@@badumboom1 nomally if it was a starter or maf Sensor i would say go oem, however i havent seen any failure from remaned units.
Question do you have to prime brake lines after that job?
I have a 07 infiniti qx56. Do you have to have the delta stroke sensors programmed after install? Infiniti said I did but I think it's not true. 😂
What kind of diagnostic equipment or scan tool did you use to get the ABS fault code?

Having same problem
Aaron - Thanks for the video! Does the pushrod that actuates the BMC need to be adjusted?
Top shelf instruction, great job, well done video.
Would this cause the brakes to go to the floor like no pressure in the brakes ?
I just got one in. It hisses like crazy under the dash. When you press the brakes...So I have to replace it.
it was nice that someone broke off all the brake bleeder valves on the calipers.
Good deal awesome video, thanks !!!
Excellent video. Thank you
This should be the same for an 06 armada?
I have a 2004 Infiniti QX56. Is it possible for you to replace the Brake Booster for me?
Hell yeah bro u the man i have one too .
I need help to replace my exhaust manifold
Go with long tube headers.
Im in sarasota florida if you are near by i can help.
I did my 2006
Never had this much luck with installing a booster. Always have to calibrate the push-rod into the master cylinder.
If you don’t have a scanner to clear the code and you get that done at an auto parts store I assume?
No unfortunately auto part stores done have scanners that can clear abs codes. A shop will have to do the job!

@@runnerman1127 did it work when u got it fixed
@@desmondpierce9177 yes it worked.
Do you accept business inquiries?
Depends on what type of business. What exactly are you referring to?
@@AaronHinesAuto free samples (about 100-300$) to get detailed installation and using video, are you interested in?
U made it look so easy?!
I’ve done it a few times:) thanks!
What are the symptoms of a bad brake booster?
abs light on dash. intermittent activation of abs motor when braking. hard to stop truck
@@AaronHinesAuto i changed my master cylinder and now i have a hard to push brake pedal.
Im guessing booster.
