- Hello and welcome to The Auto Intuitive channel. My name is Isaac.
In this video, we view the All New two door MINI COOPER S. I have yet to find out many details, but for now, I enjoy the view of a continuation of the legendary MINI Cooper.

I got mine last week, and switched from a previous one. Outside of all tech, which made car smart, driving is much more pleasant. The car is more quiet. Space is bigger inside. Remote engine start. Massage in a driver seat. List goes on.
@@anatolykhalizev2356 Agreed! And at what cost from the original is the question. The BEV may be its savior
Glad I bought the 2023 model, this one has way too much cost cutting going on. No exhaust tips, no premium quilt leather interior, no steel pedals, no a/c + heat buttons and knobs...no thank you!
So do I
no front fake intake to make it look a bit menacing
Good luck losing 20% more on resale than just future proofing your investment by buying the new one.
I've been driving this 2025 for a week and absolutely love it! Over the years I've driven Toyota, BMW, VW, Volvo, and Chevy. Finally decided it was time to drive the one car that has always made me smile when I saw one on the road. It's roomy, comfortable, quiet ride, solid (just listen to the doors close), super fun to drive and responds beautifully. Cannot recommend highly enough. ❤🏁 Only wish i had gotten into one years ago.
@catwhiskers1919 Glad you like your 2025 MINI Cooper S! I can learn some things from your perspective and experience. Thank you for commenting.
I have been trying to decide if I want to trade my BMW X4 for one. I love the Mini Cooper S and have wanted one for yearsss. I love the speed and power of the X4 though, so that's what I'm afraid of losing.
@@cherylharris2369 it's a personal decision. Test drive one and see what you think. My last car had 455 HP and my Mini has 201; I don't feel like I gave up power. Again, a very personal decision. Good luck 👍
The new ICE coopers are the exact same size as the previous gen. The electric models are all new. F66 is just a refresh of the F56 and a pretty bland attempt in my opinion. My 21 is the exact same size and shape. Even shares most of the same sheet metal on the outside.
@DanDiMaggio Thank you for that fact. Some may see it as bigger with no Instrument Cluster. Thank you for commenting
One question, does the 2025 MINI Cooper 2dr have auto brake? And, if it does, is it activated in the infotainment screen? Just to clarify, with the auto brake activated, the driver doesn’t have to continuously step on the brake pedal while the car is idling.
The lack of paddle shifters on the S seems like a really bad move to me. I'll give this a big 👎
I was shocked as well. For a car purchased by emotion such as a MINI. Thanks you for commenting
Great video, finally someone tells the true function of the new parking break / hand break.. but what do you think is the procedure when you’re parking on a hill, is pushing this button while parking on hill effects the gear box, or you think auto hold will do the trick to allow this button to double function as a parking break and a hand break as well… thanks again 🙏🏼
@Bianuni Thanks for asking! "Auto Hold" will never put the car's transmission in Park. The P button in this car puts the transmission in Park and activates the parking brake together. It will automatically slam gear into Park if the door is opened at low speed. It will also hold the car on a hill for 3 seconds before rolling back slowly. Also, if you turn the car off while in Drive or Reverse, it will engage Transmission in Park without activation of parking brake, and that can't be good to do daily for the transmission.
Whats the obsession with adding roof rails? There no way in hell id risk damage by putting anything on the roof. I wont even put a drink on the roof for a second.
No Dual Exhaust Tips!!! Sacrilegious
@@eander4910 I know...
Great video thanks, best review of the screen functionality I’ve seen. I do have a question. Does the new Mini have auto engine stop when stationary at lights for example and can it be turned permanently off if it does have it? Thanks, looking forward to more videos from you, you explain things very well 👍
I test drove this 2025. You have to put it in go kart mode each time you get in to bypass it.
That’s awesome thanks, I hope to test drive one soon. I reckon I’d always want it in Go Kart mode 😊
@markhoward3596 It has a manual shutoff for the Auto Start Stop. Under "Drivetrain and Chassis" menu. You can only shut it off once per trip or after 20 minutes or so it resets back. Go Kart Mode cures the function as well.
To much money now and lost some of the style of the previous generation.

It's not that much more. I bought a 2015 and the MSRP was around 30k but I got it for 25k pre tax. This was 10 years ago so you can't expect it to be the same price.
This must be in Reno. I recognize the PepperMill hotel in the back.
2024 come bbbaaaccckkkk!!!!
I love it I what to buy one 😅
I had a 2015 in this exact color combo. The thing I question is why no tail pipes? The twin middle exhaust pipes made it cooler.
I just ordered my 2025 Mini Cooper S 🎉I’m so excited to get it ❤
Can you do a vid on the ambient lighting? Great video btw
@TheCarbuff42 Yes. Let me find some darkness. 😂 Something I can add to my personal list. Thank you
Interior is horrendous
@@norecordkk Not my style as well. Too many BEVs look similar to it. Thanks for commenting
No paddle shifts ? Omg! I prefer my F56 instead this new version!
@@DF-lg1tm No comment from me. 😂
On sport model in C and S in UK
Nice looking car.
@wylie1818 I like the rear especially
And no paddle shifters?
@@eander4910 I am shocked as well. We blame the BEVs😂
we need to see the engine......
@silverlover5817 looks similar. I will add to the Part 2 video list. Thank you for commenting
I think it’s more about driving than the way it looks
Apparently so since there's nothing to look at 😕
@milesv5352 It feels heavier, cushier, which is to appease and earn new owners.
Like most reviews of this car the reviewer seems only concerned with how it feels to the touch, how dinky things are and how entertaining the infotainment is with its different colours and " experiences ". Even more exciting is that the engine noise vroom vroom is amplified through the speakers ! They all miss the point that unless you pay extra for a cheap little heads up display everything - your speed, the road speed limits, the heater controls etc - are all on the centre dial. This is just dangerous and takes your eyes off the road. It's not a go kart game; it's a fast moving piece of machinery which must be kept under control. Other reviewers have described it as being aimed at women on account of the cloth interior and the little box with a bow on it on the centre console. My view is that it's designed to appeal to the children that buyers bring to the showroom with them.
Sin tubos de escape, es un chiste pero sin ninguna gracia
The rims are ugly. It's nothing special

The 18s look way better.
