Thanks for this! I work with a lot of new BMWs and could not for the life of me figure out how to change the “values since” on the odometer to show “since factory”. BMW should not have gotten rid of the “BC” button on the turn signal stalk which did that in a much simpler fashion.

The difference is typical for a metallic, to enhance the contrast. It shows up clearly when the surface is angled or curved. It's easier to notice in person. A solid paint (no metallic) appears flatter the brighter it is, just like the Alpine white.

Works in my old a** 2013 too.

Personally I don’t think you can make an easy update from idrive 8 to 9. The hardware is different. Idrive 8 and 8.5 are Linux based and 9 is Android based.

Why 2025 though? This is either a F65 or a F66, both are 2023. And the car cannot have been produced in 2025 either unless you have a time machine.

I own an XC40 t5 my23 and I got Sensus infotainment. Honesty I would have preferred AAOS instead of Sensus, having google maps it's a whole different story and also having updates via OTA instead than waiting for car service (or worst paying for update!!! why Volvo let user pay for updates out of the car service !) I am pretty disappointed by how Volvo treat customers. I made 23k km and I really looking forward to change car, I am just waiting for the ball to drop.

It's hard to tell unless put them side by side and look at them in-person. Honestly, many people don't care in real world. A white SUV is a white SUV... The color won't help it to stand out or get too much unwanted attention, but that is the virtue of it.

It is nice, that Volvo has put a light at the charging port. However - it is not a good placement of that light. If it is completely dark outside, the light just blinds You. The light shoul have been placed at the "rim" of "well" where the charge ports are, facing the charge ports itself - that would have been a much better solution! And Your video also shows another problem with the Volvo XC40/C40 (i drive a C40 🙂). In Your video - i.e. at 2:12 You see a puddle of water (ice?) in lower part of the charge port. This water can quite effektive freeze the flap over the charge port shut. If You are very unfurtunate (i speak of experience...) once the first block of ice has formed, if there are several periods of thaw/rain, but not enough for the lump of ice to thaw, and then succeded by more freezing temperatures, the ice block kan be quite big, and the flap/door over the charge ports can be VERY difficult to open! (it requires warm water - but what if you are not near a supply of warm water, and needs to charge? (i know! There IS a solution "at hand" but i find that quite unhygienic..). So quite a design flaw in my opinion! There should have been a drain from that area..

Hey! Whenever you are in Manual even in M/S manual, you can switch back to automatic by Pulling Upshift then Downshift and releasing them together on the paddles, have to be pretty fast

Horrible redesign, that back is an insult to Mini heritage. Besides there are no paddle shift so seems like woke BMW wants you to buy an electric Mini

Bro … in your spin between the cars you mentioned that there is a new and old mild hybrid systems without open the hood of each one and explain if it is an BSG or an ISG as the most are confused, the 2025 lci 3 and 4 series now had an BSG with that big purple cable but the start stop button still there !!! Sorry but we need an extended review 😅
