Perfect car, perfect detail. Now all it needs is a tune, intake, possibly a catback, drivetrain inserts and front lower rearward poly bushings on the arms. SWEET!
This is unbelievable mate. I'm as gobsmacked as the owner about how well that turned out. Beautiful car and fantastic result to suit. Awesome vid Pan. Question. When not stripping a coating would you normally pre rinse first before applying a snow foam or do you always apply to a dry surface?
There are two schools of thought on that, both methods being valid. You can pre-rinse first, especially if the car is dirty, before foaming. If you do that, I would still pre-treat the surface with a rinseless wash solution before rinsing. And you can apply the foam on a dry surface, allowing it to cling better on the surface, be less diluted (as there is no water on the surface) and in theory do a better job a pre-washing the surface that way. Nowadays, I mainly use the foaming on dry paint method. I made a video on that topic here: th-cam.com/video/16SwGBQ29rs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NOGJJuZipFIrtqeg

Hey Pan, speaking of giving the customer a rundown on how to properly maintain their vehicle post detail, I would love to see a video on what you recommendations to the client are. Awesome vid btw, keep up the great work! 👍
Glad you’re showing more DIYDetail product. I have stocked up on more and really impressed. The products act just as advertised. Really love the rinseless and gold standard polish with waffle pad.
With so many products available, I like how you showcase different ones that may not necessarily be your favourite or go to products to show the results that are achievable. I enjoy spending my Saturday mornings with a cup of coffee and watching Pan the Organizer latest video. Cheers
Thanks for such positive feedback. I appreciate. Yeah I'm not sold to just one brand. I like to test and showcase the best products from many different brands, some pro, some consumer, at different price points too.

@@PanTheOrganizer my new vehicle is black. I want to protect it the best way possible. My driveway has power line that goes across it. Prone to many bird dropping.
Wow. Great looking. Great paint. I can tell you, Pan, i really live for the moment of the owners reaction and first smile. Makes my day. Question: i noticed you had warm/hot water in the wash bucket for contact wash. Is there any reason? Comfort? Have you tried Koch Chemie Reactivation pre-wash yet? I would love a review. Thank you for the customer video. Priceless.
Pan, u r a lucky man to work on such a car! A real bad-boy. Nice work, my man👌🏼. Congratulations! That wagon still gets my vote for your next car... Shine on you crazy diamond!
I wouldn't compare both. Roar Coatings is a professional grade coating and costs way more. But it's the best pro coating I have ever tested. The DIY Detail is a blend between a consumer coating (accessible for DIYers to buy) and a professional coating in terms of performance. It's very good as well, and much less expensive. But I have been testing the Roar Coatings for many more years compared to DIY Detail, so time will tell how much I like the DIY Detail ones.
Another amazing detail by Pan!! Love that car after you did your magic. Dealer prep or lack there of is horrible. DIY products are also incredible. Slowly have switched over to them and love them. Pan and DIY can't lose. Great work!
Awesome job Pan! The car looks great. When I got my RS6 I immediately brought it to XPel Houston, had paint correction then whole car wrapped in matte PPF and ceramic coating on top. Was this guy nice enough to let you drive it or have you driven an RS6 before? It is such a nice ride in comfort mode, then hit the RS button and it’s such a beast. Also, have you seen the SICK new wheels available on the 2024 RS6 Performance? - beautiful. They look similar to Vossen HF-5’s
He said I could take it out for a spin, but it's winter here at the moment, and I did not want to push it in harsh conditions. But yes I have driven Audi RS6 in the past, just not this new "revised" 2024 version. Oh and the wheels in this video aren't the stock summer wheels, they are just the customer's beater winter set.
man! @pantheorganizer i love the products that you use , but the floor of your garage is amazing. The way you designed the build, the material you used, it's giving me future projects idea for my own!.

Hey Pan. Great work! How does this DIY ceramic coat differ (if at all) in terms of prep/products from the ceramic detail shops that charge $1000. In other words, if I follow these steps using these products, why would someone still go to a detail shop?
People who pay a professional to have their vehicles detailed and coated is usually because they don't have the time, or equipment, or skills to do all of that on their own. So what you are paying for mostly is for the detailer's time, and expertise. Which is totally worth it. But for the prosumers and more experienced DIYers, like those who watch my videos, you can do all of the work yourself and save a bunch, especially if you already have most of the equipment that you need. At that point, it's just buying the coating, and doing the work yourself.
Did you say there was PPF on some of the car? I have it on the hood and fenders and I’m still not clear on what I should and should not do to the PPF vs non-PPF surfaces.
Yes this car has a full front clip with PPF, as well as the rocker panels. You can treat PPF the same way as regular paint most of the time. Just don't go crazy with machine polishing, be more careful. I have a video on PPF maintenance, here: th-cam.com/video/I3AszYhWhs4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JRNNNoIqhhU3kk94
Pan- I give Nick and Ivan mist if my detailing $$ but I haven't tried the quick beads. Should I add it to ny next order? Do you have any videos highlighting or reviewing it? Thanks
It's the same thing with coatings. Brands usually say to work in small 2x2 sections, etc. That's to make sure those with less experience don't do any mistakes. When you have detailing experience, you can work larger areas. ;)
Hi Pan, A fabulous video and work from you. The car looks fantastic! Audi are the originators and masters of the fast estate car. Soooo much cooler than an SUV. Keep up the great work.👍👍👍 All the best, John.

You’re gonna love BH Touchless V2 that’s just come out here in the UK! Thanks for another great video! 😊 Oh quick question what DA did you use? Just wondered what the throw size was…
Yes I have ordered some from the UK and will hopefully get to test the new Touch-Less revision soon. I love that snow foam! I put the link to the Flex XFE polisher I used in the description as usual, but here goes again for you: bit.ly/3inH2Fv It's a 15mm throw.
Hey Pan, is it fine to use a PH12 on a ceramic coated car or should I aim for lower PH to be safer, interested to hear what you think! Thanks for all the content you provide us!
For ceramic coated cars, for regular weekly washes, pH neutral is all you need. Once in a while, for deeper cleanings, you can use higher pH snow foams (like Bilt Hamber Touch-Less, Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam, CarPro Lift, etc) no problem on ceramic coated cars. Just don't use them on a weekly basis in my opinion.

Hi mate. I’m a little confused about not spraying citrus cleaner on plastics. But what about when we pre wash. Plastic wheel arches mirrors plastic trims and grills ect? Thanks
There are tons and tons of good ceramic coatings out there. The DIY Detail coatings are excellent so far. But for my ultimate product recommendations, there is always my popular awards video here: th-cam.com/video/KRv7vKsuliQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=thPqNIz1rbuTR2Sm
Great fast paced video. I have been learning from your videos for last 30 days. Live in Auckland New Zealand and don’t get to buy DIY detail products here but can get hold of CARPRO & Coche-Chemie. Do you give 5 mins time to all the ceramic coatings by various brands?

Of course. That's one way for me to get real world feedback from customers and different coatings from different brands. And also, as many customers don't take care of the coating as good as they should, it also allows me to see what a neglected coating looks like a few years down the road.
Hi Pan ! Thank you as always for these videos. I used the DIY 8 year on both the PPF and painted panels of my RS6. The paint seems incredibly soft (not standard color), and I am seeing new swirl marks even after my careful home washes. Do you have a coating you prefer to help reduce these swirl marks? I don't want to PPF the whole car, but the panels without it are seeing such wear and tear and its only a few months old. Merci !!!
Hi. Coatings aren't meant to protect against swirls and scratches, or stone chips. Only PPF can achieve that. Coatings are designed to provide gloss, slickness, chemical resistance, UV protection, hydrophobic properties and self-cleaning properties to make the vehicle much easier to wash. Coatings can to some extent help prevent a bit of the "love marks" or very light marring from hand washing and towel drying your paint, but that's about it. Using safe washing and drying methods is what's most important to help prevent scratching your paint. See my car wash tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/w-d-xo.html Welcome to my channel.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for that
Wow, that looks great! I did my 1st Ceramic Coating using the DIY 5 year Ceramic Coating. It was not difficult and very satisfying once I was finished. Thanks for the video.
Yeah the DIY coatings are super easy to use! Thanks for watching Steve!
Thank you.
Great job there, black is always the hardest to maintain but afterwards it was back to its best. Well done 💪💪
Thanks! I could never own a black car myself though. It would trigger my OCD all the time haha.
@@PanTheOrganizer I've just bought a black car and I've already been polishing it for a week, can't get it to my standard at the moment 😂

Very smart owner to take the new car to Pan.

Super nice job Pan customer’s reaction was priceless 😊

Hey Pan, speaking of giving the customer a rundown on how to properly maintain their vehicle post detail, I would love to see a video on what you recommendations to the client are. Awesome vid btw, keep up the great work! 👍

Glad you’re showing more DIYDetail product. I have stocked up on more and really impressed. The products act just as advertised. Really love the rinseless and gold standard polish with waffle pad.
This is one badass car Pan. I want one 😫
It would look nice in any car lover's garage for sure!
Black and ceramic just shines soooo good.

Priceless.
Thanks! In the winter, I sometimes like to add warm water to the bucket, it just helps dissolve minerals and road salts quicker.
Pan, u r a lucky man to work on such a car! A real bad-boy. Nice work, my man👌🏼. Congratulations!

I'd travel from Toronto for this kind of work on my Jeep Compass. Nice job.

DIY coatings looks good .. but will you recommend it over Roar Coatings?
Great work!
Thanks!! :)
Thank you.
Nice vid format, Pan. Quick pace…talking through your project…details in the description. Great car…love it! 👍

Excellent job Pan!!! You’re the best pal...
Thanks Tom! I appreciate it.
Damn, that is beautiful!👍
It sure is!
Fantastic results Pan, spectacular!
Thanks Robert!
How many towels did you use in total to coat this car?
Wow, what a georgeous Audi! Very lovely car!

Hey Pan.
Nice video. I like your nothing phone case!
STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!! 👏👏👏 this show room ready.
Yup! Better than new for sure. Thanks for watching!
Great finish Pan , the coating really made the paint pop 🙌🏻
Thanks Daniel!
Pan- I give Nick and Ivan mist if my detailing $$ but I haven't tried the quick beads. Should I add it to ny next order? Do you have any videos highlighting or reviewing it? Thanks
Thank you. DIY Detail Quick Beads is a great drying aid, but particularly effective on protecting wheels and grills.
I love quick Beads on paint (like Gyeon WetCoat) and but also on wheels. It's such a quick way to top off your wheel protection!
Hello Pan. On the gold standard instructions it says use on a small area. I noticed you are using it on the whole door. Why that difference?
It's the same thing with coatings. Brands usually say to work in small 2x2 sections, etc. That's to make sure those with less experience don't do any mistakes. When you have detailing experience, you can work larger areas. ;)
Hi Pan,
A fabulous video and work from you. The car looks fantastic! Audi are the originators and masters of the fast estate car. Soooo much cooler than an SUV. Keep up the great work.👍👍👍
All the best, John.

You’re gonna love BH Touchless V2 that’s just come out here in the UK!
Thanks for another great video! 😊
Oh quick question what DA did you use? Just wondered what the throw size was…
Yes I have ordered some from the UK and will hopefully get to test the new Touch-Less revision soon. I love that snow foam!
I put the link to the Flex XFE polisher I used in the description as usual, but here goes again for you: bit.ly/3inH2Fv
It's a 15mm throw.

Excellent job as always. Ánd customers reaction was super. 👍
is this ceramic coating the best choice for a diy? I have been looking for a while but don't know which one to choose 😅
I have been learning from your videos for last 30
days. Live in Auckland New Zealand and don’t get to buy DIY detail products here but can get hold of CARPRO & Coche-Chemie. Do you give 5 mins time to all the ceramic coatings by various brands?
No. Each coating has its own instructions to follow. Read the instructions carefully before applying a coating that you purchased.

Pan, have you had cars come to you that had been coated years earlier and you could evaluate the performance of the coating?
See my car wash tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/w-d-xo.html
