Stunning all-round really. The paint scheme is truly gorgeous, subtle in many ways. Merlin purple? That’s another great Audi spec. Dream car for sure 😊
Definitely agree with you on that. It's been one of our favourites in the unit so far 👍🏼 The colour is 'Panther Black' I believe. Looks incredible out in the sun!
Hey there. I’ve watched a bunch of your detailing videos. I gotta say they are mesmerizing and enjoyable. The music, the creative video, and of course you (you aren’t too bad to look at 😜) all combine for a no-brainer - relaxing experience for me. I’ve noticed you haven’t posted any in a while. I’m hoping you restart. Here’s to a great 2024! Thanks, Pete in Carrollton TX.
Hi Pete, thank you very much for all that great feedback! Really glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the content 🙌🏼 Unfortunately we’ve had to put a pause on any new content as it was simply becoming to time consuming and costly to put together the content. We’d love to start creating these videos again but I can’t guarantee this will happen sorry!
Really enjoyed the video. Since you seem to want / demand feedback which is a great virtue, here it goes: for me personally, it's the ambient atmospheric music that does it for me. There has been a massive growth of new small detailing channels, as it always happens when something becomes slightly more 'mainstream', but this one in particular has the spectacular video angles, editing, and music. To be frank, most other channels can be quite boring as they're all starting to look the same at this point. My only advice would be that if this matches your business strategy (TH-cam content) then if anything, continue to reinforce this style with high quality music, high end editing, different and perhaps even exaggerated over the top new angles to create contention and curiosity to drive viewer engagement. Best of luck
This is amazing! Thank you so much 🙏🏼 I can confirm we do have plans to experiment & enhance our content moving forward. We’re looking to shoot at a much shallower depth of field, incorporate more ‘ASMR’ elements and also begin to include some stages of PPF as well. This is all to come over the next 12 months or so. But having feedback like this is so valuable to us. For which I can’t thank you enough! I hope that you continue to enjoy any future content we produce. All the best
Lovely content, lovely car (we dont need SUVs) and a lovely finish. I've seen you use your glove to aid the T&G stage in other videos, always fascinates me! All the best.
When doing the two bucket method. Could you describe in detail how it’s done exactly. I understand you should go from top to bottom. So do the roof and windows etc. but if you could write instructions on how you do step by step and when you rinse the mitt? That would be great
Hi, thank you for getting in touch! Yes, so we do agree that you should work top to bottom when using a wash mitt. Of course we would always leave the lower parts of the car till last and more than likley rinse the wash mitt more regularly. As far as a specifc step by step guide there's no much else to it. However if you're looking for more in-depth information I would highly recommend watching this video - th-cam.com/video/ITgiFp_l01A/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps 👍🏼
congratulations on the work the car is already part of the work but i like your style i'm sub a short time ago but i'm already enjoying it .has a fan in portugal 🇵🇹👍
Beautiful video and gorgeous result. The RS6 is one of my favorites. I have an SQ8 and love it. I was surprised that you did a ceramic coating as it looked like the car was already coated during the wash phase. There was already a lot of beading and sheeting.
Hi Mark, much appreciated! Yes, so the owner of the car does take very good care of it already. However in the sun there was some very clear swirl marks that needed rectifying. We also had the car in to apply some PPF to the carbon trim. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to film this process. Again, thanks for the feedback 👍🏼
Hey, another question. For the hybrid coating the product you are using is different from the link posted. Could you please advise which Hybrid Coating should USA viewers use. Thank!
Hi, thank you for getting in touch. Yes, so unfortunately the hybrid coating we use in the videos isn't available on Amazon (the link is to a similar product). I'm not sure if it will be available in the US but the product we use is Autosmart Aquaseal Pro. Hope that helps 👍🏼
Hello team. Do you happen to know if Stjarnagloss Bubblor is safe on ceramic coats? I know it says it's got wax in it, which makes me think it might clog the ceramic coating?
Hi Tom, thanks for getting in touch. I'll be honest it's not a product we have used before so we can't be certain if it would effect the coating. Apologies we can't help on this ocassion.
Nice work. How do you find the Carpro Spotless? Noticed that car had a lot of protection on it during the wash stages, and wondered if you saw any difference in the areas that you applied it? I used some on my boot sill / top of the rear bumper and I'm pretty sure it killed the coating, I had Kamikaze Myabi Coat and ISM Coat on there, it's been flat ever since using the Spotless on it. I've used other water spot removers and not had that trouble.
Hi Ally, cheers for getting in touch! Sure, so we’ve only been using Spotless recently for small areas (such as around badges) as we did on this RS6. We haven’t noticed any issues as of yet. However, every time we have used Spotless recently it has been in preparation to apply a fresh coating. Thank you for the heads up though! We will keep and eye on this next time we use Spotless on a coated car 👍🏼
Hi Daniel, we can't give you a direct comparison unfortunately as we haven't used Carpro rest before. However we can highly recommend Gyeon Bathe as we have used it on numerous occassions. I hope that helps 👍🏼
Hi, thank you very much! So this vehicle was with us for roughly 3-4 days work in total. Which included a decontamination wash, polish & ceramic coating. This time can vary though depending on the condition of the vehicle and the customers requirements. I hope that helps 👍🏼
Thank you very much for the support! Just clean Gyeon micro fibres after polishing usually. We will however use a degreaser before applying any ceramic coating. Hope that helps.
I wouldn’t be to sure on an exact PSI if I’m honest. We do vary the pressure when washing certain (more fragile) part of the car though. We are using the Kranzle K7 pressure washer.
Did you stop making videos from the channel In The Detail? I’ve Stu bled across this, fortunately. And I’ve been wondering why I haven’t seen your detailing on the other channel.
Yes, so unfortunately we’re taking the channel in a different direction moving forwards. It was simply becoming to time consuming and expensive to create our previous content. I apologise for this change and I hope you can continue to support the channel in the future. We’re planning to start producing new content in the next couple of months.
The work is amazing, but it helps me understand something 27 minutes of video showing the execution of the work for less than a minute showing the result Why?
I don't know how you do not have more subscribers. The cinematography is stunning. Keep this content coming!
Thank you very much! We appreciate the support.
We should hopefully have some new content coming out soon.
Holy Moly !! Your video is always peaceful and beautiful.
Thank you so much! Glad to hear you enjoyed the content 🙏🏼
