I haven't been super happy with the audio quality in videos recently and apologize for it if it detracts from the video itself. I will be switching from my Blue Yeti USB microphone to an NT1 XLR microphone asap so the quality should be much better! :)
So I found out that you have to place a pump in an infinite water source to be able to waterlog the pump and it still functions. It helps when you need a large amount of water in a more compact space. Love your vidoes! :)
Oh okay, I was wondering why it didnt work when I tried submerging it after getting that tip, but ill give it another go with an infinite source :) Thanks for the heads up!
You can also use resistive heaters instead of using solar panels, if you have the power to spend that is *(quick edit)* it's also much much cheaper than making adv. Solar panels and normal panels in general and it doesn't get too "craft this then craft that then return to step 1 then step 7 etc"
I did :) Got my degree in chemical engineering and have been working at a medical device company for nearly 1.5 years now! Hope all has been going well in your life too!!
I actually didn't know that you could use solar panels to generate the heat, I just used resistive heaters for it 😅 found a pretty good setup for this, you can fuel one Lithium tower with up to 7 brine towers, getting together with my deuterium plant around 200 mb/t of D-T-Fuel, maxing out my turbine at around 150 MRF/t. Only problem is that it is not stable during the night, consuming more fuel then it produces during the day, so I need to run it at 100 mb/t. Kinda limiting but you get the idea, I can operate 12 matter fabricators from IC2 permanently which just completely changes the way you build stuff if you also use AE2's item storage/crafting system. The only resource you need to "manually" mine outside of IC is certus and nether quartz as well as Osmium. I'm playing with the thought of implementing quantum quarrys for this, but I'm actually too lazy to find every single biome haha.
i just was in the process of making this, then i forgot about my reactor and blew up my base and irradiated my discords spawn. no-one can spawn and live

Ah okay, fair. A distant family member of mine owns a llama farm so I can confirm they are mean and especially like to spit at people ALL THE TIME lmao.
How do you get brine from one plant to the other plant transported, to make lithium from brine, ofcourse. I used ethylene in a gas burning generator to power a resistive heater, works insane, the ethylene consumption is almost 0 and ethylere generation is rather quick, especially with a automated farm.
I have 12 pumps with max speed and the best thermal expansion fluid cables (unlimited thoughput) hooked up to the thermal evaporation plant and it still only produces 12 mb/s at 3000°C because it apparently doesnt have enough water ;-;
Dynamic tank really helps. Also try speed upgrades in the pumps, and ensure with a network reader you're getting good throughput. If you're maxing your throughput then the number of pumps won't accomplish anything.
I use resistive heaters and thermodynamic conductors piped into another valve. I like the resistive heaters because they use power instead of blocks to produce heat and you can set how much power they use per tick. Not to mention the heaters are a lot cheaper than the solar generators. Hope this helps :)
@@axreid5507 hey so I've been trying to use the resistive heaters and I put them on all 4 corners like in the video and its not heating the plant up at all. You said to use the conductor pipes and a valve but where do you place all that stuff?

Are you playing with Mekanism version 10? The only thing I can think is that in prior versions, the plant formed below the controller. In v10 they made the controller able to go anywhere, but in v9 and earlier the controller needed to be placed on the highest level (which was a huge pain with it 18 high, hence the change). If you are playing the same version of v10 on 1.16 then id ask if youre using a modpack which may affect it as LOTS of modpacks alter mekanism to nerf stuff in it to bring it in line with other mods in the pack.

@@RagePlaysGames I did figure this out about an hour ago: I removed and placed the pipe block again and them very carefully configured it to pull and then clicked on the portion of the pipe nearest the valve block. Bit late here, but it isn't really weird that height would affect maximum heat. A taller stack, or chimney, produces more heat in real life.
