    Absolutely 💯🎺🎶🎺🎶 thank you for a wonderful time explaining everything so correctly👏. I can’t wait to think about all these things in my next practice session🎺🎺keeping it musical at all times!.
    Do you have any tips for a speedy recovery after say 1 hours intense practice or is it entirely up to the individual?.
    What do you recommend? Hard question 🎺🎶💯🎶

      Hi Ken, unfortunately Jon passed away several years ago in an accident, we definitely miss his knowledge and sense of humor.

    When should I do hardcore long tones?

    • @Rufftips
      @Rufftips  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Kira 75 I think this is a personal choice. I know there are those that advocate for these long-tone studies to be done every day. I personally think that is unnecessary if you’re doing other studies that you can apply the concepts of the long town to those studies. Things like lip flexibilities can take the place of a long tone study. But if you feel that there is a great benefit to you as a player to do long tones I would do them every other day or three days a week. I would also not do them in excess. Best, Jon
