- With the E46 back from its many many engine transplants, it's time for Josh to jump in at the deep end and get the BMW's bodywork looking fresh and ready for the final part of its transformation!
Can Josh get the Cliq Tuning widebody kit prepped and ready for paint at Triple 8 Customs...or will we need a complete re-shell by the end of this video?

The bonnet will work if you buy pre facelift headlights, it just comes down over the headlight a little bit. Kind of looks like moulded in eyelids, you’ll need the little trims that go under the headlights also as their a different shape. Can’t wait to see this one done 👌🏻
The pre facelift E46 headlights will fit the facelift E46 no problem. Also have to order indicators aswell as the headlight. Great video lads! Keep it up!

@@halfevilwelding5268 he’s for pre Fl wings on, with the headlights, indicators and the trim underneath them they’ll fit fine
You need the bonnet with the lights and depending on whether it's lci or not then you'll need the wiring off the pre face-lift for the lights too. Looking good though boys. 👌 I'm unsure on the back end though.. its giving the gx 100 vibe
FL bonnet will work on Pre FL. I have fl bonnet on my pre FL coupe. Gives bad boy bonnet vibe is all
You don’t need a bonnet, just throw the pfl lights in and you’ll be away. Facelift bonnet on pfl is common to do as it gives a more aggressive look

you need the preface lift headlights and bonnet, if your interested i have some here not the side lights but the bonnet and main headlights and they are in good condition , cheap and also near kildare here in west wicklow 👍

Hey can I just give a big shout out to josh firstly my god man seriously been thrown in at the deep end lfirstly trying to take the bumpers and panels off without destroying them then to go head In and trying to work out the wide body kit and more than likely nare a TH-cam video on how to fit the kit and to get it so close man that's respect and then even to top it off to be surrounded in the garage with the best jdm cars to be available and to still stick to the mx5 because that's what you like and love man seriously you deserve the respect t and I'm looking super forward to the build whenever it comes 😀 date has hardly gone and bought a lexis maybe ls400

U need the pre face lift hood headlights and maybe the fenders and bumper
You need to swap hood and you're all good to swap to pre-facelift lights & blinkers

You'll need the bonnet or it'll look kinda odd and don't forget the wee plastic bits beneath the lights too!
Dave is a lot nicer and tolerant than me. Because if that was my ps13 and you had been using a grinder any where near it then you would be looking for a new job 😂😂😂😂
E46 facelift hood is different, but might still work. I’m swapping to pre-facelift as well currently, and I’ve got a pre-facelift hood. The facelift hood covers the inside corners of the pre-facelift headlights (near the kidneys), so to me it just looks weird.
But a big shotgun exhaust on e46 like the one on the mx5 at dubshed please would be unreal Dave bought a m3

You can get a paint matched to the colour of the wrap no sweat
Looks like an orgin lab kits thats seen on S chassis and rx7 fc jdm drift cars. I love that old school aggressive jdm dirft stance .
I had an nissan 240 sx as my 1st car, wasnt the greatest condition since i was in HS but i passed it down to my lil brither for his 1st car and he crashed it.
Always thoighy one day i would restore the car but my dreams were crushed when the body shop quote me lol.
TH-cam and diy videos werent around then.
If i had access to what we have now for diy, wouldve kept it and have a decent 240 sx. Really miss that car but their way to expensive now for what it is and building one will burn an hole in ur pockets.

I was looking into that colour code from the clio from the previous video it looks very similar to agate grey maybe check it out I believe the paint code is RAL 7038 bit of a guess but it looks very similar or the clio storm grey I hope you find the colour

They both may have covid. I felt terrible early this week for a few days but was testing negative. Only tested positive on like the 4th day
I need this question answered, the front bumper that you have installed, does that work with the facelift headlights or is it the widebody for the fenders that is causing the issue? i'm looking into buying the same front bumper for my face lifted e46 and i have different widebody kit.
