Evolved came out in 2015, to have the same level or even worst performance on a REMAKE of said game over 5 YEARS later is a disgrace to your name as a game development company and to give them leeway for that is the reason we are getting shit games anymore to begin with. Honestly tf is wrong with you? If you can't learn from your mistakes within 5 years your pretty worthless, most people get till the end of the work day to fix their shit
You are right, but as a Brazilian, here we pay 33% in taxes, things are very expensive. If you live in the United States, you at least have a somewhat good currency. Half of our minimum wage goes to monthly food expenses.
Anyone who’s into modern gaming can at least tell that this performance is a disgrace on the current gen. 90% of Games just look and run better than this shit. Late comment here but I've got around 2k GBP sunk into my PC alone (i7-13700KF and 4060) and while my GPU is soon to be upgraded I can barely get 60-70FPS while having the game still look decent and this forces me to have DLSS + FG, this eats at my VRAM causing stuttering which can be unbearable and DLSS makes it look super blurry which is why consoles are blurry too. Not to mention I was seeing crashes every 1-2 hours and if I lower the settings or trying DLSS on Balanced/Performance I start getting severe artifacting with lots of graphical issues. People expected this update to fix things and well it didn't do anything for 40 series users since they replaced Nvidia's FG with AMD's FI (Frame Interpolation, pretty much the same thing just made by AMD), this is better for everyone that didn't have it but well didn't affect anyone like me. Now people are hoping that with the UE5.4 update we will see performance increases too and while that is true that the engine is more optimized on these versions it isn't all sunshine and rainbows; See people are blaming UE5 for being the reason that ASA doesn't run well and while it is well-known for being taxing on performance it isn't anywhere near this bad, go look at other releases on UE5 as of recent and even some ports like say Dead By Daylight, these games run fine if not the same (if it's a port) and have none of the same artifacting that ASA does. It's so unfortunate that this game is in the state it is because I love Ark and have been playing since 2016 on my old Xbox One, when I saw ASA's trailer I wasn't even mad because a remake of Ark with the new tech looked stunning but it's been a year now and they don't even seem to be addressing the performance issues, they've just accepted that the game runs awfully and that's it. It seems like we'll have to wait for Nvidia's 70 series to play the game smoothly and hopefully by the time that's out they would have atleast fixed the crashing.

I would have sticked witih the old ARK, but they shut down all official servers and the unofficialk ones are complete horseshit (modded/tweaked to unplayablitiy for me). Im am forced to move to ARK Ascended. It might totally disappoint me, but w hat can I do... There is no alternative to ARK. If u are not likje me who cant enjoy any other game genre then u might have no choice either, but if u like many different genres u dont need to buyu this game, it has a lot of issues. THere is plentyu gameplay btw on utube which u alreayd know
It will probably look more clear and less blurry, but since the CPU is literally the exact same the actual frame performance will likely be the similar or even the same which is really sad.
Out the box the performance is horrible on console. You can use the commands to lock to 30fps or reduce the resolution and other graphical things to reach a more consistent 50-60fps. Im also intrigued to see how the pro runs this one 😊

@@mrbobajango7482 How do you limit the FPS and Resolution after this newest update? putting in T.maxfps 30 doesn't limit it to 30 anymore. Oddly, If you enter 20 instead it locks it to 34fps, entering 17 or 18 locks to around 30fps but the frame pacing gets bad... Maybe frame gen causes all that strange behavior?
The perfomance switches between supersmooth and superstuttery way too often. And the visual shadowflickering and artifacts during movement looks uggly. The FSR-Implementation on PC looks way better, so they have some work for improvement here.
Apperantly this is not the full 80% preformance update. Because of a bug they disabled some feature and are working on it. There will also be a ue 5.4 update in oktober
All I care about is gameplay. Last time I played a Free PS Plus Ark game, the game was PURELY BUILT FOR PC. The controls were TERRIBLE. So bad I could'nt even figure out, how to craft a block for a house 😂. Im just here for controls and fps not being blurry af, like Far Cry 3

Sorry guys, but the developers of Ark have absolutely no idea about graphics. It was no different then old ark, they are incapable. It's 1:1 the same game, only slight improvements and new shaders made on it. But what really has to do with graphics, they have achieved nothing. The developers have no idea. I, without any idea of graphic design, have 1:1 managed the graphics with more frames…

I just turned off clouds and my game runs at 50fps 80% of the time, this is GOOD

Just tested it, 30-35 fps on the base PS5, 50-55 on the pro. It's so much smoother
