It’s easy to start using your physical Square Debit Card. Once it arrives, just activate it from your Square app or online Square Dashboard.

my square app says that i can activate the physical card, but i never received it

My square account shows nowhere to activate the card I went to the link on the envelope and it just takes me to my dashboard. I am hating how overly complicated square is in comparison with paypal.

We are sorry you have been finding Square hard to navigate and would like to help in any way we can! You can activate your Square Debit Card from the app or Dashboard under your Balance Tab, More > Balance > Square Card. Tap Activate physical card and enter the confirmation code sent to the email address associated with your Square account.

How do you even get one once you have open an account with the app

You will automatically receive a Square Debit Card, when you open a Square Checking account.
To open a Square Checking account, visit the Balance section of your online Dashboard or Square app. Keep in mind that Square Debit Card is associated with only one location.
