I have never heard of your channel before or heard of you before but me and my wife have ordered an 2023 xc90 recharge and out of all the reviews i have seen i loved how you covered everything. as stupid as it sounds actually showing where the child seats hook up and what they look like is a huge thing for people with kids. you are literally the only reviewer i have seen that has even shown the child seat connectors, and i thank you for that. keep up the good work.
I purchased this car in November and I am loving it. With a fully charged battery I get about 29 miles in "pure electric mode" before the battery is depleted. I live in Michigan so I might get slightly more miles out of it when the heating system isn't turned on. In hybrid mode at speeds around 70 mph the battery lasts for about 60 miles before it is depleted and has to use gasoline. Then I get about 30 mpg.
Here in Texas, your states odd southern cousin, I'm so happy to hear that it's working so well. I've been mulling over this or an Acura. Your comment just got me to go with the Volvo
This video lacks a bit of balance. There are some drawbacks you need to mention. 1. It does not have a spare tyre at all. In long trips in Australia, this is a serious concern. 2. With 22 inch wheel as the only option, the ride is still on the too firm side even with air suspension when compared to Audi Q7 and other similar options. 3. Ventilated front seats are optional, even if in the top specs and that price point. 4. There is no fast charging support. 5. The rear seats can only be raised manually. Most competitors at least offer the option to make them electrical. 6. The PHEV has the lowest ground clearance and the official wading depth is only "Up to a depth approximately level with the floor at walking speed", which translates to ~215mm, compared to 450mm in other variances. 7. The boot space is the smallest of all variances.
I have the 2020 XC90 T8 and we did a trip few weeks ago. On the motorway at constant 140km/h we got 12.8 l/100km. Two adults, two kids 3 and 5 years and one bag with stuff. I'm sure a larger engine (2.8 or 3.0) would get better fuel economy.
How many kms does the battery last when in Hybrid mode? How many kms will the 1.8L last before needing the recharge? 75kms was for electric only range, what about hybrid? Thanks
Are you sure that’s a 2023 model and not a 2022? The 2023s have the google infotainment system, and Apple CarPlay is full screen. This car has the old Sensus system.
The new Huyndai Santa Fe offers TONS of better features for literally half the price. I suggest you learn your craft better when it comes to market research
We have a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe, it's a great PHEV! Range Rover Sport PHEV is setting a great example with 32 kWh battery pack and Level 3 DC Fast Charging capability, too.

Still like it 2 years later?

Reviewer is so good, i like how she is talking about every little important things in detail.
Best and really useful review on XC90 T8 I have found on YT so far 👍
Good review, great to see another perspective.
Great review - thank you for taking about child and booster seats. Not many other people think to cover this.
Great review, much love from South Africa ❤️🇿🇦
nice informative vlog, and beautiful presenter... keep shining.
Cheers,,,

Very good presentation
Great review! The car itself looks lovely .

Thank you for your great, practical review. The car looks awesome!
Nearly choked at the ''under thigh support'' comment when in the back seat 🤣🤣 Otherwise fab review.
The model in the video is not MY23....MY23 comes with android automotive
Since a Toyota Landcruiser became $165000! This is outstanding value in comparison!
Such a sharp looking vehicle

In hybrid mode it will run until the gas tank is empty.
Great review!
I like the SUV and like the presenter. Great review 👍
It looks great, good value if you stack it up against the 180k BMW with similar features
I wish there was V90 PHEV in the US
Nice looking car but since when was 120k good value for a car!!

ok after 5 yer can i sale it asimply
Outdated interior and ridiculous 22 inch rims as standard for Australian roads
You can’t start the car if the charging cable is plugged in… hence you can’t drive off while on charger….
Hey, it is not 2023 XC90 but 2022 XC90
Nice review, love the car would like a smaller version
🤔 guess you haven't heard of an XC60 or a V60.
@@SterlingSigurdsen I guess your right
Same shape since 2015. There should be some changes in interior and exterior.
Since when is $122k "reasonable value for money"??? I don't think so!!
I heard the price. I'm out.
Not many Volvo on our roads lol I wonder why
Looks so old and outdated circa 2015. 2022 V60 Recharge Polestar is the way to go. New 90 series coming soon.
Love the outfit dear. Amazing.
Hmm

@@garycrum6486 starting price at 90k euro.. lo you hope its more reliable than Rover oh wait..
Completely different level of luxury. Apples and pears and such.
@@davidyang577 reliability has been great, so far so good for us
@@CrumResearch you have just brought the car but Just you wait should only take couple years for jeeps 🙂
