Damn the amount of hoops we need to jump through and payment for third party tools we need to make just because we wanted to play games on Mac with a sub standard experience is ridiculous at this point.

Basically on mac your options are:
cloud gaming services (like GeForce now or boosteroid)
or any emulator/compatibility layer to be able to play games on mac (like a Nintendo switch emulator, Android emulator or crosscode and whiskey)
@@lol-ivan7500 I wouldn't say never. They want to be on Apple devices, they just want to only do it in a way that sticks it to Apple. It is already announced as coming to iPhone in the EU.

Question, if you've got Parallels, is the 24h2 version available for you yet? Should be under the Insider Preview. I'm curious about the new Prism emulation layer they've put out with it. It's supposedly improved performance on the Windows on ARM devices that currently exist - and I'm curious to see how much it'll impact the emulation experience in a VM.

I downloaded mumuplayer pro with wuthering waves on mac M1 but the game isnt smooth as I tought it would. It's sluttering a lot and low latency for some reason (80 to 300ms drop). i don't know the best config to play wuthering waves smoother on mac M1 i tried pretty much everything... but well i guess i should deal with it. Thanks for the vid !
I did try it on my mac m2 its not smooth either. I tried to configure the settings but it's still the same.
try PlayCover its free and it runs very smoothly - on my M3 it can keep a stable 60fps all graphics maxed out

Will 'MuMuPlayer Pro' ever be completely free or offer a truly free version? Currently, there are no other Android emulators for M1 Macs that function properly and are free of charge.

@@Archius Bro kinda hostile, just ignore that lol. Currently there is no way for Fortnite because the PC version uses anti-cheat that will detect you installed it on the wrong device type. Not sure about the other game.

Yes, and it works way better on playcover. No frame drops and actually has high resolution at max settings. MuMuPlayer makes it look like the screen is smeared in vaseline.
The only thing with Playcover is that theres a specific command workaround you need to enter the first time you start the game, but from then on it works perfectly. Google "PSA: Wuthering Waves does run on PlayCover (with a small terminal magic)" and an r/playcover reddit post with details on how to get it to work will pop up.

to stop adb debugging all the time
Disable root access, open fortinite again.

The performance is solid with good FPS, but there are some graphical glitches. I just checked it on my MacBook M1 Pro.
It was necessary to disable the "GPU fast math" setting. Now everything is great!

@@Austinfdp that is no guarantee, just because he isn't banned yet. As far as Fortnite they may update anticheat in reaction to this new method if it gets popular and start the bans. I would just play on a new separate account to be safe.

The mac release is coming soon, same with console release. If you’re buying a laptop just to play phone games you should invest in a cheap windows laptop to do that.

I mean any platform you go to doesn't have every game. If you are going for maximum available library size you should purchase in this order Windows>Linux>MacOS>Switch>XboxSeries>PlayStation5
