The car is a auto, and my mods so far are Texas speed 1 7/8 headers with there full cat back system. 4 inch Weapon X motorsports intake. I also have a Carbo creations Z28 style hood, and a set of 17's like yours just the silver instead with the 275 50 17 M&H drag radials. This winter planning on doing a pulley setup and Afco heat exchanger and injectors. Anyways love the car and thanks for the update, can't wait for the 200 shot tune video.
Wow. That cam is a lot smaller than I expected. I've got a similar one from CompCams ready to drop in the 5.3 in my 1993 Silverado. You weren't kidding about instant torque.

You can run a N2MB 2 step on your car right now. But Thea mod you need to do to get every bit of performance out of your engine would be a stand alone ecu. Check out the FuelTech ft500 and ft600. You’d drop another second or more with a stand-alone.
Your going to to be in 8's after the TH400,Good Converter & Trans Brake are in the car, the 15" wheel conversion will be helpful as well! Looking forward to watching your progress!
since I'm guessing your not going to be using your washer fluid, to help you air flow you should get rid of the washer fluid tank. it will let more air get to your intake
Such good Hp with a relatively low lift of 0.583/584 Damn , I'm running quite a similar setup only 231/239 .617/.624 with 6.8L ls3 based lsa sc and right there in hp..I keep telling customers the rules on lift dont apply with FI. That zl1 is badass man.

What's some good weight reduction things to do for these cars without tearing things apart, want to keep it semi-daily. I've got the fix a flat junk out, lighter Braille battery, and going to get lighter wheels. What's some small things that I could do away with. I look in the forums but I wanna hear your opinion
what gear you going to when you put the 400 in it. i'm building a old school 62 chevy 2 just got my 434 SBC and my 9 inch. to put in it. still waiting on my mustang 2 front clip. GRRR. but if things keep going right i hope to have it rolling by march and at least started by june. thinking of going fuel injection. but damn thats alot of money i just dont have.
Nick, please consider a 4l80e instead...Ive been there with the t400 and the level of stall you will probably use...The 4L80e will take tremendous punishment with basic upgrades, it resembles and reuses a LOT of turbo 400 parts except with 30 years newer and better metallurgy, you can add a trans brake ( check out Jake's performance 4l80e ), you still have over drive and can get as wild as you want with stall because you hit cruise speed boom it locks up 1 to 1 just like now...retaining actual real driving...and since you've had a 6l80e in there you ready have plenty of room for it...there is no reason no nueter a still true street car down to a stalled turbo 400 vs 4l80e when there is room....if your worried about controlling it ive had great luck with the affordable MS3 standalone controller and prefabbed harness.....please consider keeping it for real street.... What will happen is you with either go to soft on stall ( I mean you have a pretty docile cam) to keep at least some street manners and drivabilty....or you will go with a loose one for ET ( and future upgrades) losing over drive and all street manners....it can be tricky with the style of supercharger you have to spec a stall that will see peak torque so low ect but with a triple disc lock up in a 4l80e lock it in full power on the big end ( or dyno).... Your basically giving up going from 6 speeds and a lock up to 3 gears and no lock up....have your cake and eat it to at 3 forward gears, OD, plus the lockup that not only keeps it cooler but is like another gear.... Just consider it ive ran crazy power through stock ones with boosted BBC in 3920lb car

I really would like to have a car that runs high 8’s or in the 9’s.. ultimate goal. I love the new camaros and vettes.. still have awhile to choose a car but I just need to know what it will take.
