The flight attendant making the departure and post-landing briefings had the most lovely voice and accent when speaking English. I could listen to her all day
Besides the speed it amazes me how far they can fly. I remember back in the old days you had to have at least three engines to fly over the sea. Such a smooth landing.
The reason why 3 engines were need was because they were not enough reliable, so the regulations put compulsory 3 or 4 engines, so in case 1 would fail, there were stil 2 or 3 more.
All changed with the new-gen engines and the ETOPS rules.
I flew on Air France A350 on my way back from Mauritius Island last week......and Air Mauritius A350 on my way from Paris to MRU...this plane is exceptionnal....smooth, very spacious...
I've flown Air France several times. Always a nice experience. My most recent flights were last December (2023) for the holidays. Miami to Paris in business class on 777-300ER and it was AWESOME. Return was also on 777-300ER but nicer business class layout so it was even MORE awesome. Will be flying again, but in coach, in August. Miami to Paris / Paris to Vienna. 787-900. I got myself some extra legroom by taking an emergency exit seat. I think it's smart since there's no seat in front of me...I can get up to use the lavatory without waking my neighbors....if I need to.
I can’t help but feel how your videos effectively convey the sense of scale of these aircraft, almost like a 1:1 of what you would actually be experiencing if you there. Good video! 3:26 was the moment that made me write this
Excellent explanation of the 20:11 Jetstream by comparing it to walking on a moving sidewalk! Thank you for another enjoyable video.
I feel like I've gone on a trip without even leaving home!
Thanks so much, mate :)
Glad you found it interesting! I just wanted people to better understand what tailwind means. I think the majority thinks that it's just wind "pushing" the plane to go faster... :)
Thank you, I love seeing what food is served. Looked pretty good. Thank you for allowing us to fly with you.😊
One of the best videos ever! Thank you.
I love aviation and Your video’s learn me a lot of it. Thanks
Muy bueno tu video. Imágenes y síntesis del vuelo. Genial. 🙌🙌
Thanks for this great content. Definitely the perfect way to end a rough day at work.
Another great video . Your videography is super. I appreciate the side notes regarding what is happening in the cabin and then airport itself. Fantastic explanation of Tailwind and Air Distance. i learned something new. Thank you.
Great video. Great views from LAX to Lake Michigan. In the past I flew from LAX to CDG with AF A380... Next year maybe in A350!
im gonna be honest with you bro, ur channel is the most interesting channel, not just the review but the scenery, the information u provided, that is soo good man for ur content. Keep up the good work and i will never stop supporting you!
I like the way u inform us about everything 🎉❤
Another great video my friend! I feel like every video you make applies to a past experience or thought that I had in the past. I flew on the Air France A350 from Paris to Atlanta back on August 6, 2022 back when traveling was hectic. I remember that the food was ok and IFE was pretty good, and the crew were very friendly and politely socialized with me while doing service. Overall an 8/10 experience. To your point about KLM, I flew with them THIS summer (777, August 7) from Amsterdam to Atlanta and then did awesome too, a 9/10 for me. KLM has a slight edge, but both are really good long haul airlines with a great partnership. I enjoyed this video and keep up the good work!
Thanks so much mate :)
I basically agree with you... I would choose KLM, but if you are lucky enough to get a nice crew on AF, they are great as well. However, KLM catering in economy class is better than the AF one.
25:10 awesome landing music!
Excellent trip report as expected from you always , love your camera skills which makes this a very good report. tks for explaining jet streams
19:21 perfect movie for the perfect flight :)
Fabulous vistas. Utha, Green River Canyon, Mojave dessert, Mt. Garfield All superb!! The movie you've chose was Interstellar? Great trip!! Thank you so much!! 🥰👍
Thank You for sharing this wonderful vlog. Hope to get an opportunity to try flying with Air France 🇫🇷
Very good🇨🇷🇺🇸
Great video, well produced! Curious what you used to identify landmarks you were flying over, as well as details about other planes you witnessed?
Hello Sir and welcome back .. as always beautiful upload travel trip reports and I really appreciate and enjoy watching your lifestyle documentary video channel and absolutely spectacular gorgeous beautiful shooting filming footage .. keep it up and have a wonderful weekend and stay safe .. TQSM
Great video as always. When will you be doing another video to Spain I miss those and would love to see another
Thank you, probably the best flight video I have seen. Basically video of the flight with explanation rather than the constant self obsessed promotion of their own and their bs opinion of the aircraft and its services. 👍
My experience with Air France was flying from Jakarta to Singapore & Singapore to Paris & Paris to Singapore & Singapore to Jakarta in 2004.
Köszönjük!
Thank you so much for the support!
Really glad that you liked the Trip Report so much!
✈️✈️
I never flew with Air France, but I did with KLM and really liked that. But Air France doesn't seem too bad.
Highlights of this trip report for me were the city lights from above and the transition from the American landscapes to the typical European landscape and weather.
Thanks so much, Rudi :)
Hopefully I'll soon be able to upload an upadted KLM long-haul trip report :))
Flew AF twice. First time to Türkiye from Houston on a 772 and A320, and it was ok. Second time from Delhi to Paris on the 773, and it was miles better.
I think Air France really offers one of the better economy class products, compared to other European airlines. I flew them last year from Paris to Montreal (got a Video of that on my Channel too) and really liked it. Thank you for this lovely trip report! :)
I think they have a quite ok product compared to other European airlines, but KLM one is better, even that they are on the same airline group.
A350 is the best plane I flown back in 2019
The first time I flew with Air France or KLM was in 2002 with KLM after a flight with Northwest Airlines (Now Delta Airlines). I also flew with KLM from Amsterdam to CPH (Copenhagen, Denmark) in 2011 after a Delta Flight and then in 2021 from GOT (Gothenburg, Sweden) to AMS (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). My first ever Flight with Air France was in 2021 to GOT (Gothenburg, Sweden) with a connection at CDG (Paris, France) after a Delta Flight to MSP (Minneapolis St-Paul) from PHX (Phoenix, Arizona).
Saludos
Muchas gracias!! Un placer que te haya gustado!
Hasta la fecha, el SanFrancisco-Doha que está en el canal.
Great vid love flying. Now the A350.900 And The A350. 1000 What's the Difference.
Hubieras viajado en la premier!!
Must've admit breakfast did look nice But nice flight report yet again see you next time bud
Glad that you've enjoyed this one!
NExt Saturday we'll fly on the A380! :)
The flight was sensational, I only saw the North Atlantic Ocean, and when it arrived in Paris, it was Air-France flight AF 457 from São Paulo leaving Guarulhos.✈️
Great trip, I would love to try A350 it looks soo nice and shining:) (excep old USBs:P) Bout the service? No it's not the best in Europe, main meal is really mediocere and on such a long flight you dont get a second hot meal?... lol but neverthless it is nice:) Cheers mate!
Thanks for the video and explanation about ‘Air Distance’ and ‘Ground Distance’ 👍 Awesome view overlooking desert, mountains, canyons and rivers over the Nevada, Utah and Colorado 👍👍👍 AF is a pretty good airline BUT they’re very expensive, they used to having higher fares than the US airlines and even vs. LH!
THanks so much!
Gald that you found it interesting! :)
Yeah, AF isn't the cheapest one out there... in my opinion not worth the price many times... =/
Amazing Video, you had best views...how do you manage exactly to know where you are flying over, the IFE does not give this detailed information ?
Don't expect me to tell you how I make my videos ;)
Glad that you've enjoyed it :)
@@OnBoardHD I wasn't expecting such a surprising answer, although I leave the interpretation of "surprising" open.
Buen video.
Muchas gracias, Sebastian :)
Very informative video. Service seemed ordinary. Typical of European carriers. I am curious as to what was the max ground speed achieved while overflying the US? Keep up the good work👍
Thanks so much! Glad that you foun it interesting :)
I didn't monitore the speed on the screen. In fact, I'm not sure if it was available.
Heeeeeeee.
Thank you for the great trip report! Really i haven't been on KLM or AF longhaul but as for shorthaul i like KLM more. And have you flyed on KLM longhaul?
Thanks so much! :)
There are some KLM long-haul trip reports on the channel, yes ;)
I don't know if it's shot on Samsung S Series but the visuals are stunning !
if you are wondering KLM does not block the brightness on the 787 windows, at least on my flight. The catering on a similar flight was better with hot dinner and warm and delicius pancake for breakfast. Maybe about AF the catering is better out of Paris
I won't be able to watch the premiere, but I'll watch this trip report as soon as I can. It looks promising based on the description. Great views, and a far more modern cabin than on your CDG-BOM flight ;)
Also, just curious: On your Air Caraibes A350 video you mentioned how the outbound flight to FDF was on Air France (and the service wasn't as good as the Air Caraibes flight). I'm guessing that one was on an old 777, just like the flight to BOM?
Hope you will enjoy it!!
The flight to FDF was with Air France on the B777, yep.
It will come to the channel in the next months :)
Yes, I really enjoyed it! Great planespotting in LAX, an awesome view of the A350's beautiful winglet, amazing views of the Western US, really impressive storm clouds at sunset, and the tailwind thing was interesting. 👌👌
OnBoardHD, how do you know the runways that your plane is landing on?
Nice video, as always ❤
Glad that you've enjoyed it!
I'm sorry, I don't tell how I make my videos.
Is the jetstream related to turbulence?
Flew on KLM’s B777 from Amsterdam to Accra. Yet to fly with Air France though.
Bravo mille fois !Ce reportage est magnifique et tellement fluide à regarder !You have done a splendid job .
We just flew Air France Abu Dhabi to Paris on a A350. Much better than the outdated 777-200 & 777-300 flights
I have flown both Air France and KLM and I have to say....I prefer KLM💙
Can you fly Cathay Pacific
Wow amazing and amazing vedeo i love air france paris france flights ❤❤❤ thank u so much...wish to the uploader my bottom of heart..❤❤❤
that international terminal looks like a different airport compared to the rest of the terminals lolol.
This is only the second video I've watched on your channel, and I particularly understand why you don't like the B787's windows lol, in fact for your video model, open windows are much better.
I'm based in London and I've attempted numerous times to switch my preferred legacy airline to AF, but the connections at CDG let me down everytime!
The work around is to spare extra hours for the connections, but it ends up wasting my time on the short weekend trips, where the final destination is not Paris.
I heard that the connections at LHR could also be terrible, which I never possibly experienced, but I want to believe that it's not as bad as CDG!
Well, if I would live in London I would definitely go with the middle-east airline for long-haul. Or maybe I would choose one every time, as you have basically all options available! :D
I'd love to visit Paris someday but it's either going to be an A380 or some other plane depending on which plane is assigned to take people there
Only Emirates is flying the A380 to Paris at the moment, as far as I know.
