Hola. Por fin en Sudamerica. Bienvenidos. Tuve una muy grata experiencia con Latam en un vuelo desde Buenos Aire a Madrid con conexion en Santiago de Chile. El 787 espectacular
Muchas gracias por cumplir tu promesa con este vuelo. Me trae muchos recuerdos de mis 17,5 años como piloto en estas rutas y de mi querido 767 - 316. El tiempo pasa y ahora es el momento de recordar a todos los viejos amigos con los que volé y que ya no están con nosotros y algunos de los vuelos meteorológicos más difíciles sobre los Andes.
Bonito vídeo, me han gustado mucho las impresionantes imagenes de Los Andes y también me ha sorprendido gratamente el cátering de LATAM me parece muy bueno. Un cordial saludo y buen fin de semana.

Excellent video! I finally had the pleasure of seeing here on the channel an airline that I have already flown (and fly whenever I can), and an airplane that flies here in my country (the XPQ, A321 from the leg to EZE)! I really enjoy flying with them, it's always a calm, pleasant and stress-free experience! When you're in South America, come to Brazil! The other Brazilian airlines (Gol and Azul) and the central airports of Congonhas and Santos Dumont deserve a trip report!

2:11 Copa has some interesting route planning scheduling flights to PTY 5 minutes apart. I guess that's what happens when there's lot of demand but you only have a fleet of 737s
Siempre me ha parecido muy bueno el servicio de LATAM. Volé con ellos entre Rio de Janeiro y Lima (vía Sao Paulo) y tanto el abordaje, el catering y el vuelo fueron realmente excelentes.

Loved the flight review and loved the views of the Andes and it was a banger as always. Hope to see you do a flight from Sydney to Brisbane if it's possible this year or else you could always do it next year 2025! Great video man 😃
Thank you for the excellent out of the window photography, especially of the Andes...always the best part of any flight. I don't understand those that have a window seat and promptly shut the blind. Dated business class but still very acceptable and the service looked great.
LATAM Encanta siempre y cuando vueles en Business/Premium o tengas alguna categoría con la aerolínea y sueles recibir un trato mejor volando incluso economy.. sin duda sigue siendo una de las mejores de la región.. Una pena no hayas podido conocer el salón LATAM de SCL, de lo mejor que tiene la aerolínea.. Una pequeña observación: Aterrizaste en la 17L, ya que actualmente la 17R está cerrada por remodelación. Gran video 🙌🏿✈️

Good experience traveling on the best airline in South America. LATAM is an excellent Chilean airline and has a beautiful Airport as a HUB in Santiago de Chile. Their VIP lounge in Santiago is the most elegant and luxurious, much better than in Bogotá. I hope one day you can visit our country in greater depth. You are welcome in Chile!

En cuanto a Latam, definitivamente es una gran aerolinea, una vez volè con ellos, y ni mas pensé en avianca y sus abusos. Una vez me dejaron caer mi maleta en la mitad de la pista. Todos los colombianos tenemos minimo una queja de ellos. Gracias por tus reportes y que vuelvas a mi Colombia pronto ...
I don't like the B787 for the dimming windows it has. First, because many times they are blocked in dark mode by the crew, and, even if they are not blocked, after some years of usage, they become yellowish. I don't like them at all.

Hola, soy nuevo en este canal, tengo que decir que me gustó el vídeo. Y en cuanto a LATAM, yo en abril pasado volé con ellos desde Valdivia (ciudad en la que vivo, a unos 850 km aproximadamente al sur-suroeste de Santiago) a Santiago y posteriormente también unos días después de Santiago a Valdivia, y me tocaron tripulaciones amables y atentas, además que en la ida tras aterrizar en SCL la tripulación me permitió acceder a la cabina de mando y en el vuelo de vuelta para el recuerdo me tomé una selfie con dos auxiliares. Y por cierto, en ambos vuelos me tocó exactamente el mismo avión, que fue un Airbus A320 CEO matrícula CC-COO (Charlie Charlie - Charlie Oscar Oscar), saludos.

Hola Lucas, una pregunta para saber tu experiencia. Sueles facturas equipaje en tus vuelos? De ser así, en estos vuelos con escala operados con la misma compañia y con tan poco tiempo de conexión, imagino que hacen ellos el traslado de equipaje de avión a avión, has sufrido alguna vez pérdida de equipaje? Un saludo, eres un crack! Sigue así.
Hola y bienvenido a Bogotá. Dos correcciones. No hay parte más nueva en BOG. El aeropuerto fue remodelado en su totalidad. Adicionalmente el 787 con livery verde de Avianca no va a Madrid. De hecho ese avión esta exclusivamente en rutas a MIA, GRU y JFK. Tiene una configuración especial Ex-Norwegian por lo tanto no hace vuelos a Europa. Saludos.
Bueno, pues llamémosla parte que parece más moderna. Estuve en una zona de puertas de embarque (en donde estaba el avión de Satena) que se veía claramente más antigua. Revisando los archivos de ese vuelo, es correcto, el 787 verde de Avianca iba a Miami, no a Madrid.

LATAM siempre fue muy buena y parece q sigue siendolo, la vista de los andes es increible, tendrias q ir mas al sur, a la patagonia q es aun mas hermoso. bienvenido a la argentina. el aeropuerto de USH Ushuaia tendrias q ver las aprox ....complicadas.
Just one thing, it landed on RWY17L as 17R is closed for heavy traffics as its shortened due mant, for the rest, it's quite wonderful, i travel to Bogotá too and was looking for a trip report on this route.,
Nice trip report! Do you know that American Airlines will launch at the end of the month a new long haul route? The route will be from Dallas to Brisbane operated by their "brand new" boeing 787-9 dreamliner. Would you try it?
Good to know. It's hightly unprobable that I would make that route. When I will go to Australia, American Airlines is not the airline I have on my mind to get there :)

Good experience traveling on the best airline in South America. LATAM is an excellent Chilean airline and has a beautiful Airport as a HUB in Santiago de Chile. Their VIP lounge in Santiago is the most elegant and luxurious, much better than in Bogotá. I hope one day you can visit our country in greater depth. You are welcome in Chile!

Bienvenido -tarde- a mi Colombia. El dorado es el mejor aeropuerto de latinoamerica, es enorme y muy bien cuidado. En cuanto a Latam, definitivamente es una gran aerolinea, una vez volè con ellos, y ni mas pensé en avianca y sus abusos. Una vez me dejaron caer mi maleta en la mitad de la pista. Todos los colombianos tenemos minimo una queja de ellos. Gracias por tus reportes y que vuelvas a mi Colombia pronto ...

I don't like the B787 for the dimming windows it has. First, because many times they are blocked in dark mode by the crew, and, even if they are not blocked, after some years of usage, they become yellowish. I don't like them at all.

It's a constant mystery to me why people select a window seat and never look outside. If you're not bothered, an aisle seat is best for you.
Becouse it’s much easier to lean on window side and sleep unbothered by other passengers
So if I book a window from Dublin to New York you expect me to look at the Atlantic for 5 to 6 hours? People can book what seat they want and don't need permission to do so

Hola, soy nuevo en este canal, tengo que decir que me gustó el vídeo. Y en cuanto a LATAM, yo en abril pasado volé con ellos desde Valdivia (ciudad en la que vivo, a unos 850 km aproximadamente al sur-suroeste de Santiago) a Santiago y posteriormente también unos días después de Santiago a Valdivia, y me tocaron tripulaciones amables y atentas, además que en la ida tras aterrizar en SCL la tripulación me permitió acceder a la cabina de mando y en el vuelo de vuelta para el recuerdo me tomé una selfie con dos auxiliares. Y por cierto, en ambos vuelos me tocó exactamente el mismo avión, que fue un Airbus A320 CEO matrícula CC-COO (Charlie Charlie - Charlie Oscar Oscar), saludos.

La verdad es que mi experiencia con LATAM fue muy buena, en todos los sentidos, desde el personal de tierra al de cabina, pasando por el servicio a bordo, las facilidades en la web... Repetiré, seguro.

Sueles facturas equipaje en tus vuelos? De ser así, en estos vuelos con escala operados con la misma compañia y con tan poco tiempo de conexión, imagino que hacen ellos el traslado de equipaje de avión a avión, has sufrido alguna vez pérdida de equipaje?

Hola y bienvenido a Bogotá. Dos correcciones. No hay parte más nueva en BOG. El aeropuerto fue remodelado en su totalidad. Adicionalmente el 787 con livery verde de Avianca no va a Madrid. De hecho ese avión esta exclusivamente en rutas a MIA, GRU y JFK. Tiene una configuración especial Ex-Norwegian por lo tanto no hace vuelos a Europa. Saludos.
Bueno, pues llamémosla parte que parece más moderna. Estuve en una zona de puertas de embarque (en donde estaba el avión de Satena) que se veía claramente más antigua.
Revisando los archivos de ese vuelo, es correcto, el 787 verde de Avianca iba a Miami, no a Madrid.

Actually, I didn't know exactly what to expect from LATAM... but they definitely surprised me. I liked LATAM. I also flew with Avianca and yes, I agree, LATAM has a better service than Avianca.
That being said, Avianca's service is not as bad as I had read on the internet before...
@@OnBoardHD yes LATAM isn't bad even in domestic flights, it's a big arline with more than 300 planes...
LATAM siempre fue muy buena y parece q sigue siendolo, la vista de los andes es increible, tendrias q ir mas al sur, a la patagonia q es aun mas hermoso. bienvenido a la argentina. el aeropuerto de USH Ushuaia tendrias q ver las aprox ....complicadas.

Nice trip report! Do you know that American Airlines will launch at the end of the month a new long haul route?
The route will be from Dallas to Brisbane operated by their "brand new" boeing 787-9 dreamliner. Would you try it?

LATAM's wide body flights are usually very good, but their narrow body flights can be brutal and very expensive.
This was on the same booking so I can't compare prices... what I can say is that the service on both flights was great. I really liked LATAM.
Distance between Bogotá and Buenos Aires is 4.600Km, not 11.671Km LOL
