My favourite are ascendance of a bookworm and witch hat atelier. Although I mostly read the LN for ascendance of a bookworm. I just love stories that start out small but builds this incredible tapestry as the story is told.
Ascendance of a Bookworm is one of my all time favorite light novels! So good - i might even make a dedicated video for it down the road. It’s a fantasy enjoyer’s dream series esp for us bookish folk.

I’ve read about 3 volumes, but so far, Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun has been a 5/5 for me. It’s absolutely hilarious, gives me a 90s manga feel, has great characters, and is really good in its serious moments.
The anime is great as well
The manga opinions are great as always but honestly learning more about you and how your experiences and how they have impacted your tastes in manga was the highlight of the video for me. Great video Boogie :)
My 2 5 Star Manga are The Dangers in My Heart and Blue Lock. I love the development between the two lead characters in The Dangers in My Heart, and Blue Lock is just a lot of dumb fun!
My personal 5 star (10/10) manga are DBZ, A Silent Voice, The Fable and Slam Dunk. All pretty surface level manga and not rlly niche, but all are perfect imo
Idk if it’s a 10/10 or if you’d like it but it was my first manga and really obscure and I just think more people should know about it. It’s called Kamen Rider Kuuga.

Vagabond isn’t on forever hiatus, the author just said he need the motivation to draw more and don’t try to make everything perfect(He had stress I think)

Basic awnser but berserk. Its honestly the best story i've ever read but, it also hits every box i look for in manga 😅
Anime wise the two shows I can always re watch is berserk and Intial d .damn when I bought the dvds back then for berserk they were 35 dollars each that was so much back then for a dvd .

Ive been reading it with a manga club for the last few months but... Shiori Experience is a phenomenal read!!!
The only problem is it will probably never get an english release because there are too many situations where real musicians are referenced or even become characters.
Seriously though do yourself a favour and read it with appropriate music to accompany it. Amazing series!

My 5 star manga is One Punch Man. The anime is really good (especially season 1), but the manga is so much better. I couldn't recommend it more.
This is probably just my opinion since i love romance.But i really love Tamon's B-Side.It's a very weird but funny and sometimes heart racing moments and the story continues to unfold as you get to know the characters more and more and i just cant tell which one is my fave character!If you like idols mixed with romance,i think this one would be a cool one!

Happy birthday!!! 🎉✨ Okay so I haven’t read a ton of manga yet, but I love Witch Hat Atelier. It focuses a lot in the beginning on practicing your art and not comparing yourself to others when you feel less than good enough, and that hit me, a newbie illustrator, right in the heart. Second, I would have to say Delicious In Dungeon. Volume 1 was okayish, but it really hooked me vol 2 forward. Loved this video btw! You may have convinced me to pick up Vinland Saga 😅
A few 5/5’s for me are 20th Century Boys, A Bride’s Story, and Blank Canvas.

I have two 10/10 and I really love them, the first is Undead Unluck the first time I read it I was amazed, the second is Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability it was great and and good manga.

Boogie, If you are really enjoying vagabond I recommend waiting until the really nice deluxe editions come out next year. I feel like this is the smartest move because if Inoue comes back to Vagabond; which I expect him to eventually, I feel like the newest volumes would be collected that way instead of the vizbigs. I own all 12 vizbigs, it's my favorite series but I'm still going to buy the deluxe editions for that reason. Also cause I know they're gonna look great and his art deserves the biggest format possible.
I've been reading Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You from the library, but I might have to buy my own set because it's just that good.

“Drifting Dragons” is such a good and underrated manga! It’s been one of the few manga series I’ve read that was 5 stars⭐️ It follows a crew of dragon hunters known as Drakers and it’s also quite wholesome (imo).

I got to point out the irony here. You got emotional at a character realizing their dream didn't work, stopped it to find better opitions for their own life. Then don't want to read a work when an artist does the same thing? Good chance, it might never be finished, but if it's that good already... maybe enjoy the journe more?

The summer hikaru died. Its kind of a boys love. With the main character who lost his bestfriend who died in the mountains till he mysteriously reappeared as a "skinwalker" this thing inherits the bestfriends love and feelings for the mc 10/10 overall. I'll never not recommend it! Its a horror/slice of life.
Pretty sure you already read this but to anyone that hasn’t my 5 star recommendation is girls last tour it is such a great series and is absolutely worth the time. And for those that have read GLT my 4 star recommendation would be Shimeji Simulation as it’s also pretty good but is very slow to pick up
And I also agree with what boogie had to say about March comes in like a lion, single handedly my favorite anime (which is a very tough call) and easily in my top 3 manga ever. Anyone should absolutely read it especially if you are going through a hard time because it helped pull me out of a hard time.
