    I loved Cliff and Nina!!
I had such a hard time excepting Cliff as Jack Abbott on the Y&R... Now I can't think of anyone else playing him!

These January 1987 scenes seemed to indicate Nina and Cliff were gone for good, and at that point Taylor Miller and Peter Bergman both wanted to leave the show. This was the perfect ending. Unfortunately, AMC wrecked it by bringing back Nina and Cliff and having them divorce for the third time. By the time they remarried in Sept 1989, it didn't make any sense because Cliff was all set to marry Angie before Nina came back.

Either this clip is not dated correctly or they didn't leave the show at this time because they left for good in 1989, not 1987. As a matter if fact, most of 1987 was played by Nina #03, who had black hair and looked nothing like Taylor Miller.

Cliff and Nina were back and forth so much it's hard to recall. Nina #02 was OK, but bland. Nina #03 was absolutely ridiculous because she looked so different.

Heather Stanford, Miller's blonde / iceberg-chill replacement, was the Nina who pulled the gun at Donna's wedding. That and her subsequent mental breakdown (she regressed to a childlike state) led to her being written off... Barbara Kearns - aka dark (red, not black) haired Nina, at this point thinking she was a teenager - was the one who, in therapy, came to terms with WHY she did it: She blamed Donna for bringing Zach Grayson into Pine Valley & all the turmoil it caused. This snapped her back to present-day. But by then, she'd already got the hots for Donna's husband, Benny - who made it easy since he was relentlessly chasing her skirt since she was released from Oak Haven. One roll in the hay was about all they got before Benny got into a car accident & nearly died, leading him to a light-bulb moment of wanting Donna back, Cliff pretty much rejecting Nina, and her leaving town all over again. She'd be back several months later looking glamorous, sophisticated, and bearing a striking resemblance to an all-grown-up-now Taylor Miller.

@@romanseano I didn't care for either replacement. Peter & Taylor had great Chemistry. So glad she came back in 1986. I love the two big weddings they had. Their !st was breath taking. And the 3rd in New York was Glamorous. I think they remarried 4 times. But those two were the best wedding thy had. AMC. went all out for them. Such a storybook romance.
